As i return from my adventure i try to act like i dont notice the sleek shadow sliping from dark area to dark area. Rouge had been with ne for two months and all his presance has done is smother me more.

As if being torn away from the only family i have ever loved, being taken form my home, having unnessisary knowledge rammed into my head, being forced to deal with my parents, and constantly being followed by Rouge isnt enough, tonight was the worst of all.

Tonight was the ball.

I enter my room and collapse on my lavish bed. The only thing i love about this castle is my room. Not because of the unnesisary lace and pink or the fancy paintings, but because it is the only place i get to be alone anymore.

I sigh as i rip myself from my bed and slip into the warm water that has been waiting for me. As i sink into the depths of the heated and relaxing water i think of what i have to do tonight.

"Look your best" "Dance graciously" "smile" the last one was the worst. "Smile" she expected me to smile.

2 years and four months of nothing but touture. I can still remember soaring through the open skys and never feeling lonly or cold.

Lonly. That pretty much all im worn down to. I miss him. Of course i would never say that outloud. I shiver as i recal what happened last time i verbaly expressed my feelings. "Its okay to have scars where the public wont see" i remeber Rouge saying that when i mumbled about Natsu.

I clumper back to my bed to see the outfit my mother picked me out for the ball. A terrible thing, with to many ribbons so count. It was a deep velvet that looked moldy and it had weird folds that exposed my breast. Sometimes i feel mother picks these dresses out to simply make me uncomfortable.

As i slip the dress on and do up my hair as instructed i run my head through the long list of suitors who will be attending. It was required that i pick a suitor at least one week after the ball.

But thats okay. I wont be here.

Thats right.

Im running the day before my suiter must be chosen.
