JAMIE BRUCE THOUGHT HER LIFE WAS NORMAL. She lived a normal life in a rural village in Scotland, hidden away from the world. Her mother was a teacher, her father was a farmer. Well, he was a farmer until he sadly passed being a hero, saving people trapped on the mountain. Life was different without him in it. It was just Jamie and her mother. The two of them.

And so, Jamie was told a story. An unbelievable story. 

There were monsters, danger and missing kids. Jamie had no clue what was going on. Because, apparently the story was true. And her mother would know because that super-powered kid she was talking about, that was her. Jane Bruce was once known as Eleven. A secret hero. A fighter. Jamie couldn't believe it. Her mother had started from the beginning, telling her the truth about her tale that led her to hiding from the world, from her friends and family.

Jamie didn't know what to think. 

Emotions swirled inside her mind, her identity conflicted. And before she knew it, power started to fuel through her. Jamie didn't know what was happening. Then the next thing she knew, she was gone from Scotland and she appeared in Hawkins Indiana. But it was 1985. 

Stuck in the past, Jamie must continue her mother's tale and live through it all. Monsters were all around them and Jamie had to fight for her life. If she had any chance of getting back to the future, Jamie would have to learn to control her powers as she helps her mother and her friends keep time intact. Not that Jamie would know what it was meant to be, she sort of teleported away before hearing the end.

But the thing was, Jamie might not want to go back. Not after she started to develop feelings for Robin Buckley.

- This is based on the idea that Mike was right. That Jane got away and faked her death. She moved to rural Scotland and hid there. She moved on and married a man named Thomas Bruce and had Jamie (named after Jim Hopper). Thomas Bruce died helping someone on a mountain.

- When Jamie is old enough, Jane tells her the truth and I guess kinda like Rory in Lucifer, Jamie freaks out and uses powers for the first time. Jane didn't get that far into the story before Jamie used her powers and time-travelled back to Hawkins just before season three. 

- Upon Jamie's arrival, she is older than her own mother. Insane. 

- The first time she uses her powers, it's to jump through time. She can do more but it takes her a while to realise and control. POWERS: slow time, freeze time, speed up. It takes her a while to figure it out and it's harder to control and maintain.

- She's a Robin Buckley oc. Lesbians together!

- They bond over puzzles and music.

- Jamie arrives, freaks out. She bumps into Harrington at the mall and he sees her in distress and takes her in (after all, his parents are rarely home). Steve gets her a job at Scoops Ahoy. She also knows Steve from her mother's stories

- A thing to note is that Jamie does not have the advantage of future knowledge. She arrived in the time her mother last spoke of in her story. So, she's experiencing it all for the first time

- They discover she's from the future (end of season 3) but if they discover she's El's kid, it'll be much later.

- Of course they question where she gets her powers from. She just says she was born with them and leaves it as that. They don't really question it after.

- It's hard for her to not just go and hug her mother.

- Hopper family are iconic

- I'm sorry Robin, but Jamie returns home after it's all over. They're pain. The more you love them, the harder it'll be to say goodbye.
