HERE'S THE THING ABOUT THE FUTURE. Every time you look at it, it changes, because you looked at it. And that changes everything else.

Andromeda Simmons had been Beacon Hills' wackjob for the majority of her life. It all started when her father started doing things out of the ordinary when he was her age, like dodging things he shouldn't have seen coming or knowing things that hadn't yet happened. A gift — or a curse — that allowed him to see two minutes of what was to come. Not much, I know, but sometimes, the difference between life and death could be minutes or seconds. Important now, huh?

Her mother feared that Charles' abilities would be inherited, and unluckily for her, they were. Andromeda was never given a choice in life, her path was already laid out like a road to an unclear destination. All she wanted was to be normal, to have friends, to do ordinary teenage things, but that was never going to happen. It was Beacon Hills after all.

One day, something happened that no one, not even the Seers, saw something: The Hale Fire. The inferno claimed so many lives, including the one belonging to Lavender Simmons, who was visiting her friend Talia Hale when the house burst into a merciless blaze. Both families mourned the losses but put on brave faces and carried on with their lives, not bothering to face what they had subdued to do so. After the fire, Charles Simmons lost his gift of prophecy just like he lost his wife, because his mind refused to mend due to his heart denying him the privilege.

Andromeda's mind was plagued of the future so much that she forgot to live in the present. Because she's the Oracle, and her future didn't matter if that meant everyone else had theirs.

That was what she thought until she met two peculiar boys — one werewolf and one human — then started to help them with their alpha problem, realising that she had a future along the way.

- So, her powers are kinda inspired by the movie 'Next'. Like, you can look into the future and see, but just seeing the future, changes it.

- You have to call her 'Andi' otherwise she'll punch you. Apart from the Hale family who call her 'Sandy'

- Her Dad can see about two minutes into the future. Andi can too but she can push herself and see further. But because abilities are tied to emotions, losing his wife broke his powers. They're a species known as Seers.

- Andi sees so much of the future that sometimes it's hard for her to ground herself in the present. Stiles helps her.

- They would get together maybe in s3a (before his possession). They're so cute. And she would always believe him and help him. 

- Everyone thinks she's crazy. But after the boys first start getting into the werewolf world, they question that. And Andi saw their supernatural involvement in a vision and begins to help them.

- Andi obviously knows Derek is not a bad guy as he's basically family and it's amusing to her that the boys think he's bad as he's basically a tough guy with a kind heart. Derek loves her like a sister. 

- When it comes to the alpha in s1, Andi only sees the wolf form so she's shocked it's Peter - she always visited him in the hospital.

- Her Dad gets his powers back when he starts to heal from his wife's death - you can decide when.

- Visions are complicated, you don't always get the full picture. And looking at the future changes things.

- Because of her powers, she can sometimes enter minds if the door is opened (like, she can follow Allison, Scott and Stiles to find their parents without actually being submerged in water). It's cool.

- Andi is also captured by Void!Stiles because of her powers. At some point during her capture, he steals her powers. Because of that, she goes blind just like some seers in mythology. When he dies, her powers are returned. Perhaps some after effects? Partial blindness? Episodes of blindess? Times when her powers become unreliable? etc

- Andi would be HIGH on the deadpool. She can see attacks coming. 

- The Ghost Riders mess with Seer powers. So, she gets weird flashes of Stiles and it doesn't make sense, at all.
