READER'S POV

Link and I crossed over the small bridge and then we followed the path to castle town. Once we reached the town we had a look around and everything seems different after I left for Ordon village. We both put our noses to the ground and we had a sniff for IIia's scent and I said to Link,"It's faint but IIia's scent is here all right I think I know where it leads to." I got in front of Link and I led him to Telma's bar. Once we got there, the door was already opened so I used my paw to open it and then we went inside the bar.

LINK'S POV

We got inside the bar and then we saw some spirits and then I saw llia and there was someone lying on the bed. IIia said,"This boy... Can you save him?!" The bar woman said,"All right, little lady, try to settle down, OK?! I just now sent for the doctor! But this is strange... A child of the Zoras... I wonder if this is at all related to the incident the soldiers were talking about in the back..."

Midna then said,"Aw, what an emotional reunion! Yes, a girl and her two wolves! Eee hee! Sorry, but you two know how it goes! These folks can't see you, either... Eee hee hee!"

(Y/N) and I walked into the back and we some soldiers and then we both listened to what they were saying,"We've had a ton of complaints from citizens who can't send prayers to the spring spirit of lake Hylia. Go there! The location is the one I showed you on the map earlier! Got it?!"

Three of the soldiers shook their heads for a no and then their captain said,"What?! Study it and know it well!" (Y/N) said,"Ooh brother, some of the soldiers are a bunch of cowards." I mumbled,"You've got that right."

I went up to the table and I looked at the map and then I heard the captain say,"I've received orders from above to investigate why we can't go to the spirit's spring in Lake Hylia! Got that?!"

READER'S POV

Link asked me,"Hey do you know where Lake Hylia is?" I said,"Yeah I do, it's just right next to where we are come on I'll show you." Link and I left the bar and while we were heading out of Castle town I saw a hooded man and he was sitting on the roof of the stables. Suddenly he disappeared out of my sight. I snapped back to reality and I continued to follow Link out of town.

Once we got out of the town we continued on the path to reach Lake Hylia but when we reached the Great bridge of Lake Hylia I noticed that there was something not right at the bottom.

"Link there's something not right bottom come on let's take a closer look." I said. Link nodded his head and said,"Good idea." We were crossing the bridge but then Midna said,"...Hey, do you two smell anything funny?"

Link had a sniff at the ground and he said to me,"It smells like the same stuff that was in Barnes shop! It's a trap!" Link started to growl at an enemy that was in front of us and then he shot a fire arrow behind us and then another one in front causing the flames to spread towards us.

Midna said,"Oh no! We're trapped! Get out of here!" I saw Link going to one of the crates that were next to us and then he  went over to one of them and pushed it to the wall of the bridge and then he jumped on top of it and then I shouted,"What the hell are you doing!? Trying to commit suicide!"

"Hey! We either jump off here or get burnt to ashes!" He shouted. I looked at the flames and I looked at Link and I said,"After you Link."

"See you on the other side! AHHH!" He shouted after he jumped. I jumped off the fence and I shouted,"OHH CRAP!"

BLACK WOLF'S POV

I was sitting next to the spring and then I heard shouting in the distance and then I saw two wolves falling into water. I went over to them and I saw (Y/N), Link and Midna again and I heard Midna say,"Phew... That was a close one. We're lucky there was a puddle down below, huh? So this is Lake Hylia... But there's so little water. It sounds like the spirit's spring should be somewhere around here as well... Anyway, let's take a look around..."

"It looks like they reached the great bridge and it looks like they had a lucky escape too." I thought to myself.

READER'S POV

Link and I got out of the water and I shook myself to get the water off me and Link said,"Hey! Watch it (Y/N)! I'm wet enough already!" (Y/n) stopped shaking her fur and said,"Sorry Link." Link then said,"Hey is this supposed to be Lake Hylia?"

I said,"Yeah it is, but I wonder what happened to the water?" (Y/n) said,"Beats me." We were about to have a look around and then we saw some spirits at the edge of the water. Link and I listened to them and one of the them said,"The drop in the water has been faster than predicted... At this rate, Lake Hylia will dry up. It's a race against time..."

The other two spirits said,"We've had absolutely no water flowing from upstream..." One of the Zoras said"There's no mistaking it. Something must have happened at the water's source in our home, Zora's Domain." His friend said,"Yet how are we to return upstream to our home? With the way things are now, we can't even walk back there..."

I looked at (Y/n) and said,"Zora's Domain?" I said,"It's the home that's filled with Zoras." Link and I began to have another look around and I was trying to figure out how this could've happened. Link asked me,"Hey have you ever been down here before?"

I smiled and said,"My mum and dad took me here once and when we did my dad got his fishing rod and he tried to catch some fish just like what my granddad used to do and my mother goes into the Lanayru spring to prey and I used to watch my dad fail every time when he tries to fish it was pretty funny too."

Link held back a laugh and said,then asked me,"Why? what happened?" I then said."He used catch a Zora instead of a fish but back in the old days my dad always said the Zoras never trust the assassins nor the creed either."

Link then said,"Did they used think you guys were bloodthirsty creatures too?" I then said,"Yes and No, the Zoras did say that we were used to killing some of the criminals but they never thought that we were bloodthirsty creatures you see, back in those days, one of the Zoras had a bounty on their head we had no choice but to kill him and since then the Zoras never trusted us ever again."

Link then said,"(Y/N) things have changed, I think the Zoras will have to start trusting you now." I then said,"It's not as simple as that Link, Once the Zora's leader has made up their mind about us then there's no way we can change it. In the mean time we've got other things to deal with."

After I said that Link and I had another look around the dried up Lake and then we saw a house and then we went over to it and then there was another spirit and he said,"Hurrrm... I'm too old for this..."

"Fyer and Falbi's Watertop Land of Fantastication... It's our grand reopening at our new lake-bottom location... Whee." He said. I said,"He's a grumpy Guss." Link said,"(Y/N) Sshh!"

Fyer then said,"Hurrrm... Yeah, nice lake... Don't lakes have more...I don't know...water?" He looked at the canyon and said,"Did the Zoras who live upriver do something?" He then looked at the Sprint's spring and said,"Or is it a curse from that spirit that floats around up there? Whatever. It's not like I can go up and complain... That's way too high."

The old guy looked over and said,"Whuzzat, a customer?! YIKES! IT'S A MONSTER!"

LINK'S POV

The old guy curled into a ball and then (Y/N) and I were about to attack but then he got a Hawk's whistle and then he blew on it and then we both heard something flapping above us at first I thought it was just a hawk but when it came down it was a large black twilight bird.

The enemy got onto it's back and then he was ready to attack us. The archer tried to hit us with his arrows but we got out of the way in time. We both ran from his arrows and then (Y/N) ran up to the bird and she started to attack the bird but then the bird threw her off his chest and then she landed on the ground really hard.

Link shouted,"(Y/N)!" (Y/n) shook her head and said,"I'm OK! Just finish him off!"

The bird charged at (Y/N) but I managed to attack it just in time and then the archer fell off his bird and I charged at him and then I attacked him twice and then he died. After I finished him off I dashed over to (Y/N) and when I looked at her she was limping.

I asked her,"(Y/N) are you OK?" She said,"My leg hurts a little, Look!" We both looked at the bird and he was ready to attack but then Midna got off my back and then she jumped onto the bird's back and he wasn't happy.

Midna said,"Hey! Stop it! I'm your new master now! Settle down!" The bird eventually calmed down and Midna said to us,"Hey! Why don't we use this guy to get us all the way to the lake's water source?"

The bird grabbed me and Link and then the bird took us to Zora's domain. On the way there we did see some archers and they tried to fire at us but the bird managed to dodge them and finally we made it to the upper river.

Once we got there the bird dropped us and then Midna went back onto my back and said,"Ah... We're already here?! That bird turned out to be more useful than I expected. Well, then... Where's the village of the Zoras? Let's look for it. It's getting cold... Hurry up!"

I was about to go up stream but then I a thump. I turned around and (Y/N) was lying down. I asked her,"(Y/N) what's the matter?" She said,"My leg hurts." I looked at her leg and when I used my paw to touch it she flinched a little. I said,"You must've sprained it when you were fighting against that bird, come on I'll carry you." (Y/n) then said,"Link it's fine I walk on my own."

"No arguments come on!" I said. I knelt down and I put (Y/N) on my back while Midna floated next to me. While I was carrying (Y/N) I went over to a spirit that was sitting on a stair case that leads inside her house and she said,"I mean what are those Zoras up to, anyway?"

"The river's run totally dry, right?! I can't work like this... Ugh... C-Cold... Ahh... I miss my fur coat..." She said. (Y/N) then said,"If we don't do something about the water and soon some of the people who work down here in Lake Hylia will go out of business."

"Yeah you're right, hang on we're going to go up stream."I said. (Y/n) then said,"OK"

READER'S POV

As I held onto Link's back here jumped off the ledge and then we were at the bottom of the dried up river and then he made his way up stream. After walking for quite a while we eventually made it to the Zora Domain but the whole place was covered in ice and the waterfall was also frozen solid too.

Midna then said,"Oh... Hey... What's going on here? I thought it was getting colder...but who would have thought that it would all be frozen?! This is the Zora village, right? Why don't I see any, then... Well... Anyway, let's check things out. Let's find the Zoras..."

"Midna's right, I don't see any Zoras in sight they might be up there somewhere." I said. Link then said,"You might be right but, I don't think you can make up to the top, can you even walk yet?" I said,"I don't think so my leg still hurts a little."

"All right hang on tight I'll try and make it to the top don't fall off." Link said as he looked around. I then said,"OK".

Link made his way to the frozen waterfall and then he leap from one frozen pillar to the other and eventually we made it luckily I was still hanging onto his back for dear life. Link then said,"OK, (Y/N) you can let go now." I said,"Sorry Link."

I got off his back and I tried to walk but my leg still hurt so Link came over and then he walk slowly with me so he could match up with my pace. While we were walking we saw some shadow beats and they looked as if they were guarding something or someone and not only that we didn't see the Zoras either.

Link turned to me and said,"Wait here I'll deal with them." I said,"OK." Link ran over to them and then he and Midna managed to defeat all three of them and then their bodies turned into another portal. I went over to Link and then Midna said,"A portal has opened here, too! We can finally warp. If one of you want to breathe the air of the world of light for a moment, let me know. I'll take you there!"

We had a look around and I said to Link,"Link! below us!" We both looked into the ice and there was the Zoras and they were frozen solid too. Link said,"Holy crap! It's them!" I said,"Those shadow beats must've done something to make this go cold, now we know why there wasn't any water flowing into the lake."

Link then said,"Yeah but how are we going to get them out digging them out isn't going to help." I said,"Yeah but, I have an idea that might work."

Link looked at me and said,"Oh?" I said,"Remember back at death mountain and when that large heat rock came crashing down maybe one of us can go back to there and get it back here that way it'll make the ice break."

"Sounds like a plan but I'll go you need some rest anyway." Link said as he pointed out about my sprained leg. I nodded my head and said,"Yeah, be careful."

"You too." Link said. Link got his map out and then he point at the location where he wanted Midna to teleport him and then his body turned into black green squares and then he disappeared.

"(Sighs) Looks like I'm on my own from here." I said to myself. I went over to the side of the from the frozen ice in case the fire rock comes crashing down and I then lay on the floor to rest. I was about to close my eyes until I smelled someone or something near by the footsteps came closer to me and it none other than Gina.

"Well,well, well, look who's here? if it isn't the assassin and now she's in her wolf form, you're all talk and no action now." she said. I growled at her angrily and she just looked at me with a smirk on her face I hated that woman so much and she knelt down next to me and said,"Like I said, Shadow will never love you he's mine and mine alone." She disappeared leaving an evil laughter echoing through the room.

"Laugh it up while you still can you witch cause when I find you, I'll get rid of you once and for all." I thought to myself.
