I wrote this FANFIC as my GIFT to SUNGGYU on his BIRTHDAY this April 28,2015~~

Sunggyu ran amidst the darkness. Only the moon and his flashlight aided him on his way. He can hear the rustling of the leaves as it dances with the wind. The cricket's cries sent shivers in his skin. But fear is not what he need at the moment.

'I have to find them all,' he thought as he gathered courage.

He can feel his knees getting tired. He's been running in circles around that forsaken place cloaked with dread and darkness.

"I have to find those gourds now. Let's end this tiring game," he said looking at the camera man who's been following him for the past two hours. He only found one gourd in that span of time. 'Four more to go,' he was disheartened with that thought. It means he still have a long way to go.

Sunggyu, together with the rest of Infinite members are filming Ranking King specifically the Courage King episode wherein they have to test their courage, conquer their fears, and complete their mission- that is to find gourds in the old horror village filled with bloodcurdling stuffs, mannequins and people dressed as ghost and hell messengers. In order to win, one must first complete a total of five gourds including their character gourd so they can pass the gate to their final destination.

After a while, Sunggyu found a lady ghost under a tree holding a jumping rope. The ghost wore a white long dress, her face covered with thick foundation matched with black lipstick and a shabby long wig. Despite that, the ghost's beauty is undeniably seen.

Panting, Sunggyu asked, "Do you have a gourd with you?" looking directly into her eyes. Beautiful eyes.

The lady ghost didn't fret but gave him a paper. He opened it and read its contents. It says he must complete 10 couple jump rope with the ghost for him to win one gourd.

"Quickly! Quickly! Let's do this," rushing, Sunggyu commanded the ghost.

Due to the long dress the ghost is wearing, she nearly tripped. Seeing this, Sunggyu laughed as he point at her. The ghost was flustered with embarrassment.

But Sunggyu was understanding saying, "It's tiring right?" He saw earlier that the ghost has been jumping with Sungjong before him.

The ghost didn't answer him.

"Okey. Let's start," Sunggyu started lifting the rope into their air and they started to jump but the ghost's dress was caught by the rope so they was stopped immediately after their first try.

"But she can't do it!" Sunggyu laughed as he point at the ghost. "What if she can't do it?" he asked the cameraman and the other crews around. They just laughed at him.

"Let's try again," he said. They jumped again but after two jumps, the rope got caught again. "She really can't do it!" Sunggyu was becoming impatient.

He gave the ghost a death stare, "Get caught again," he said threatening the ghost.

They jumped,

Again...

And again...

But they didn't complete the requirement! They didn't even manage to complete five jumps!

At the next try, Sunggyu was the one who got caught by the rope.

"Arrgghh! When are we going to finish! Match the jump with me, okey!" Sunggyu is getting frustrated. The lady ghost held his dress. They jumped again, but still, they failed.

On the corner of his eyes, Sunggyu saw another lady ghost watching them so he ordered her to switch with the first ghost.

They jumped together but,

"Wahh!! She can't do it too!" Sunggyu exclaimed while crouching and holding his head with both of his hands.

Then they jumped again. Later, Sungyeol came asking "What is this?"

"You don't need to know," Sunggyu replied and continued jumping with the ghost.

"Huh? How many gourds did you find?" again he asked but Sunggyu ignored him and continued his ever failing jumping rope with the ghost. Being ignored like that, Sungyeol interrupted by kicking the rope.

"Aish!" Sunggyu complained.

"I won't let you finish until you explain what's happening," he threatened but again, Sunggyu ignored him.

Sunggyu and the ghost jumped again but only managed to complete seven jumps. Sunggyu sat in his knees in frustration. Sungyeol went off to find the other gourds.

"First ghost, come here!" he ordered the ghost he first paired with. Sunggyu was already soaking in his own sweat and getting tired. They started jump roping again but failed. They tried again, and again, but... failed.

Sunggyu's frustration is off the roof and he wanted to give up. Again, he sat on his knees and put his hands in his head. He is already having a mental breakdown. Out a sudden, he felt warm hand in his back. He looked up and saw the ghost staring at her with an assuring look. She smiled and nodded. She didn't speak anything but he felt empowered.

"Yah, don't smile! You look hideous," he joked. The lady ghost smiled more making him crack in laughter. Finally, he found strength again.

"Let's do this." Then they prepared to jump again. "Why don't you hold the rope?" he offered.

The ghost nodded. Sunggyu fixed his eyes on her face. On their first try, they failed again. "Sorry, that's my fault. We need to match the rhythm and jump high. 1 then 2 then 3 okey?," he said while giving the rope to the ghost. Before starting, Sunggyu initiated a high five with the ghost. "We can do this!" The ghost accepted the high five.

Then again they jumped and jumped...

1, then 2, then 3, then 4,

then 5, then 6, then 7,

then 8 then 9

then 10!!!!

........

Without words, they hugged each other... Finally! After 30 minutes of nonstop agony, they did it!

They hugged like they found redemption after a long strikes of misery...

Sunggyu rubbed and patted the ghost's back. He felt the ghost's hand doing the same in his back.

They hugged like there is no tomorrow. No one wanted to break away.

It felt good, like finding rest from all the hard work.

If only they can embrace each other forever...

{A/N} This is LOL I know..haha.. I really love watching that part of the episode when Sunggyu hugged the ghost twice... I've been thinking what have the ghost felt that moment?... so there, I made it a love story... kekeke~ Yes a love story! Don't worry this is not a Horror story... The title and the front pic is just temporary... I'm still thinking of a better title...kekeke... I'm open to any suggestions...
