Chapter 33

Tony had led Aurora through the building, finally finding another window escape without being found. "Come on." He led her up to the roof. "You think you can keep up with me? I was given permission to let you come along." He told her.

Aurora managed to scale the building easy enough, but paused on the ledge for a short breather. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be able to keep up." She'd worry about herself later, once they were able to get to Kasey.

Tony gave her a look over. "You're hurt." He pointed out after a moment.

"It's just a scratch. Ran into a metal table. Real rough edge." She waved a dismissive hand. Who in their right mind would admit to defying Tony's orders, and to his face no less.

Tony started to argue but sighed. "Fine. Just... be careful, alright?" He told her. "Follow me." He took off towards the address he was given.

"Will do." She gave a coy salute, and the minute he turned his back she stuck some webbing to the gash, to at least hold it together, for now. Shooting out a web thread, she took off after Tony.

Tony made sure to keep an even pace so she could keep up easier as he started trying to navigate his way to the apartment.

She kept up surprisingly well, only slowing down a couple times when they took a corner or whatnot. She depended on him to find their way there.

Tony kept an eye on her as they made their way through Hell's Kitchen, making sure to take a path that she could follow easily with him.

She was just glad she didn't choose to make her suit white. Aurora continued along, tapping into the comms. "We're nearing the area where we met Daredevil. Is the meeting place around the same area?"

Tony stopped for a moment, realizing she was right. Huh... "Seems so. Just a bit further."

"Hm. Interesting." Aura caught up with him when he hesitated, and was able to keep a good pace afterwards.

Tony saw the building just up ahead. "There." He pointed it out to her.

It wasn't one of the most impressive buildings, but then again it was very unassuming, and Aurora respected that. "That's pretty close to Daredevil's roof."

Tony gave her a shrug. "I'm not sure he'd appreciate you looking to deep into this." he warned her gently.

Aurora gave a faux offended gasp. "Me? Look into something I find curious? Never." While she jested, she also knew secret identities were nothing to be messed with. That was one thing that she respected, and didn't pry into.

Tony chuckled. "Uh huh. Sure you don't." He stopped and turned to her. "But seriously Webs. I don't know what we're getting into here or what to expect with Kasey. He's showing us a lot of trust letting us know where she is right now."

"I know, I know. All jokes aside, I plan to respect that! Wholeheartedly." She knew she would try to be as respectful as possible to their host, even if she didn't know who it was. After all, he's been taking care of Kasey this whole time.

He nodded. "Alright. Just... I'm not sure what to expect so just... be ready for anything, alright?"

"Always am, always will be." She nodded curtly, and remembering her stealth mode was still on, she activated the switch on her neck, turning it normal once more.

Tony nodded and hovered over a few more rooftops and landed and waited for her to join him.

It didn't take more than a few seconds for her to land on the roof next to him. She stumbled a bit, but overall stuck the landing fairly well.

Tony let his armor drop away. "You sure you're okay, Webs?" He asked, moving towards the door.

"Hm? Mhm. I'm fine. I just hope Kasey is." She waved a dismissive hand. She could only assume that Kasey's issue was serious, otherwise Tony wouldn't have been called for help.

Tony nodded and went to knock on the door, knowing that as long as Friday got it right, they would be expecting them.

Aurora stood behind him, a little off to the side. Even though she was only along for the ride at this point, she still wanted to seem respectable, and help in any way she could.
