;)
1. Favorite color:
Natural earthy greens, deep night, pale sky, or any vivid electric blues, sky blues, bright, rich, true red.
2. Favorite word for a shade of that color:
Forest green? Aqua, sky blue, turquoise, blood.
3. Favorite sound:
Wind through white pine needles, or any leaves in general. Ah it's so freeing to hear just a breeze through leaves. Nothing else.
4. Describe that favorite sound by using it in a sentence:
Sunlight made dancing dappled patterns over their closed eyelids as the breeze played with the leaves.
5. Favorite character from your favorite fandom:
D: so many.
Carnistir Morifinwe/Caranthir the Dark. Most underappreciated of the Feanorians. His only crime apart from the kinslayings was being angery all the time. He even helped mah girl Haleth that one time.
Beleg Cuthalion. I feel like everyone is lowkey in love with Beleg but who wouldn't be? He's strong and steadfast, great fighter, an elf, responsible... he has poor taste in friends, but hey, Turin was probably better as a child.
Melian the Maia. SHE'S SOOO COOOOOOOOL Super powerful and wise, kept her kingdom safe from for a loong time, mother of Luthien who was able to steal a whole silmaril with Beren... Ah, she's amazing. Not even Morgoth could pierce her mind, she was that cool. The Queen.
6. Favorite character from an obscure fandom:
Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh Moojin, there's absolutely nothing I do not Love about that guy; Gu Dongmae, I didn't think he was my type but he was, and made the ultimate trio with Eugene and Huiseong; Kudo Hina, my best smart, amazing, rich, fencing, wonderful woman; Sydney Carlisle.....
7. Favorite descriptor:
Terrible. Not like "Man, this is terrible", like "... not dark but beautiful and terrible as the dawn..." Terrible as in amazing, awesome, inspiring of dread.
8. Describe something/someone using that descriptor:
Red was the color that the dying sun soaked the battle field with. Red was the the color that filled the senses of the survivors. The victors made their victory song, which rang with its terrible melody over mountain and through valleys, letting all know the extent of their wrath and triumph
9. Favorite death scene you've read:
What'-his-name the gladiator guy from The Silver Branch by Rosemary Suttcliffe. I thought he was cool, but I didn't care a ton about him, but then his death was so... *clutches chest* oof. He dies valiantly in battle, and the main character reminds him of his glory days, reminding him that he did well, and... i don't remember it in detail, but I remember how it made me feel.
10. Favorite death scene you've written(if applicable):
I haven't written any death scenes, but there's this one I've had in my mind for years for this one character, and it involves this guy who's been a dangerous and ruthless assassin for like a long time and he's led this life of corruption and finally he dies, whether from cumulative wounds, or he's killed, or whatever else I decide, and he sort of staggers, drops down in the freshly fallen snow, his blood staining the around around him, looking up at the white sky as soft snowflakes drift down and land on his fallen body and he dies. It's wonderfully soft with an underlay of hard and cold.
11. Favorite familial/platonic relationships you've read/watched:
Best ones I can think of right now... Byungyeon and Yi Young in Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.I could write a dissertation on them, which is what I almost did, but to put it as shortly as i can, Young, the Crown Prince struggling for a foothold in the court, Byungyeon, his faithful bodyguard and friend. They went so well together. The chemistry between them was so natural and good. Byungyeon was in on some shady deals, but that turned out to be for the Crown Prince's good.. if not for the King's. But Young didn't let that affect their relationship. The first thing he said when he caught wind that not everything was adding up was "You know, if I could only trust one person in the world, it would be you". Oof. That line was repeated when... This is when I have to stop by sentimental self from typing out the whole scene, fantastic as it is ._. but anywho, Byungyeon kinda betrays the Crown Prince and is shot twice and slashed with a sword but as Young is cradling Byungyeon's bloody form, he says between tears again, after this brutal betrayal "Don't forget, if I could only trust one person in this world, it would still be you" and in a shaky, ragged voice, Byungyeon replies "Thank you for believing in me" and he reaches up a bloody hand to caress Young's face but it falls with his last breath and oH GOSH MY HEART so yeh
Gu Dongmae, Eugene Choi, Kim Huiseong from Mister Sunchine. AH These three were the best. Eugene is soft spoken and thoughtful, Dongmae is aloof and Will Slit Your ThroatTM, Huiseong's clever and witty, and his cheer knows no bounds, and take as many death threats as Eugene and Dongmae can deal out. So much Iconic Dialogue. I COULD GO ON. I COULD ALWAYS GO ON BUT FOR THE SAKE OF BREVITY WE CARRY ON.
12. Favorite romantic relationships you've read/watched:
Eugene Choi and Go Aeshin from Mister Sunshine. One thing that stood out to me was that there weren't any kissing or love scenes in the entire show, but you didn't need them to tell that these two honest-to-goodness liked each other and wanted to be together. Again, I refrain from typing out the whole story. They went well together, they sacrificed for each other, they LOVED EACH OTHER AHHHHHH GO WATCH MISTER SUNSHINE ON NETFLIX IT'S SO VERY GOOOOOD
Kang Mirae and Do Kyungseok from My I.D. is Gangnam Beauty. I would classify this as slow burn, if only because this was one of those rare time I was dying (literally dyyyiinggngggg) for the male and female lead to be together and mAN WERE THEY SURE TAKING THEIR DARN TIME. *exhale*. It's complicated, but the things I liked about their relationship was that Kyungseok was respectful of Mirae and took his cue to back off when Mirae rejected him, all three (3) times. Mirae had recently gotten a lot of plastic surgery and was still bearing insecurities about always being the ugliest girl anywhere. She didn't see how someone like her could be with Kyungseok, highly attractive and naturally so. People would talk, and she hated the thought of that. Kyungseok insisted that he didn't mind, but Mirae reiterated that she did. Kyungseok respected that and backed off and tried to understand. AGH I appreciated that so much. This show touched soooo may happy spots in story and character relationships. Most refreshing. ANd when they were finally together gosh it was so satisfying they were so cute.
13. Favorite familial/platonic relationships you've written(if applicable):
You guys know I haven't written a lot, and as has been mentioned, I've lost track of a lot of my characters, but currently... I haven't written a ton, but there's a few bits and tbh, I have like the entire character arcs of these guys i just haven't written anything down
Malchin and Hisoka. You'd figure they have something in common, both of them foreign exchange students in the same university in America right? Well it sure didn't seem like that at first. Malchin knows how to be classy and good at socializing and everything, but when doesn't have to be polite, he isn't. Hisoka is quiet, rather shy at first, always gentle and courteous. Malchin annoyed Hisoka with his constant complaining when the problems seemed too easy to fix. Malchin was annoyed with how prim and proper and all around capable Hisoka seemed. but Long Story SHort they become friends and they find that they're so compatible with each other and get along swimmingly. (who else would run across campus with Malchin's glasess when he forgot to put his contacts in? who else could tell Hisoka so effectively that it just be like that sometimes and despite the obscene amount of 'i wanna die' jokes, life really can be worth living?) I love these two.
I am going to write so many more amzing dynamic and complex platonic/familial relationships. Just You Wait.
14. Favorite romantic relationships you've written(if applicable):
Idk... I've had one or two..... but.... they kinda went away...
15. Favorite time of day to describe and write about OR experience:
Early sunset.
16. Describe and write about said time of day:
When the sun is in its westward trek, and the eastern sky is such a blue. When wisps and banks of cloud tinge red, and horizon tends gold.
17. Describe a scene with these three photos you've been given, or write a 5+ sentence flash fic about the three. The next person must do three of your choice.
A place:
I can't get the pic on here, but it was a wintry scene.
A person:
Cool girl with blue tattoos and a bear
And a random third:
Idk, couldn't find it.
Snow began to fall again and she brushed it off her shoulders. The bear beside her lumbered on, impervious to the cold. She shook the snowflakes out of her hair and followed, hoping the bear would remain true to his word. Through deserts and swamps and ice they had come. Now they were supposedly nearing the end of their journey. It was her greatest hope.
Not the best, but I drained myself with restraining a full blown rant up a above there. :]
Three random pics for my taglings:
A place:
A person:
A random third:
Your mission. should you choose to accept it:
autumn probably tagged some of ya'll already, but anywho
