You watched as he worked on his dispenser. At each hit of his wrench on the metal, you stared at his biceps. Admiring how hard he worked. Some sweat dripped down his forehead from the heat. You looked at his jaw line.

'Perfect...' You think to yourself.

You sigh quietly. Engineer looks over at you, you quickly looking away up at the sky, blushing a little bit. The sky seemed to be your only option.

He chuckles and continues to work. You continued to look up at the blue sky. Not a single cloud seen. You put a hand above your eyes to block out the sun's piercing rays.

"There really ain't nothin' to look at if there ain't no clouds to be cloud watchin' for."Engineer says taking out his construction pad. You huff knowing Engineer caught you staring at him not too long ago.

"You might never know. A cloud might just pop out."You say. Engineer chuckles. You felt something wet fall onto your nose. A Engineer felt a few drops of water drop on his arm. You both looked up there was a big dark grey cloud. It was starting to rain.

"Oh why don't you look at that. Great timing, Mother Nature."You say as rain started to pour down. Battle was still ongoing so that meant Engineer had to move the dispenser somewhere it couldn't get wet. Once he did he set it down and started to build a Sentry.

You watch Engineer work. You knew you should be out there on the field battling with the others. But, you felt like Engineer could use a bit of company and stayed with him. You sit on the ground with your back leaned against the wall as you watched Engineer.

'Does he feel uncomfortable with me just sitting here and staring at him? Does he feel uncomfortable at all when I'm always keeping him company?'

You sigh. Engineer notices how glum you looked and sat down beside you. The Sentry was in front of you two scanning the area. The dispenser right next to it. Besides the Sentry's constant beeping, you and Engineer listened to the calm rain falling and splashing to the ground.

The smell of the rain and the sounds of it just sound so relaxing and soothing (That's actually true. Rainy days are the best days). You gently lean your head on Engineer's shoulder. Engie notices this and chuckles.

It was a pretty quiet and calm battle today. There wasn't really aggressiveness amongst everyone. Which was good. Engineer took out his guitar and tuning it trying to find the perfect notes. Your head still on Engie's shoulder.

"Wanna hear a song while we listen to the rain?"Engineer asks.

You look at him and nod,"That would be nice."

He nods and adjusted to his guitar. He started playing. His guitar pick strumming against the strings. You smile a bit as you listened to Engineer play the guitar more.

'He's so good at playing his guitar. So smart... And handsome... Lord I wish I could be more than just friends with him... But what if he doesn't feel the same way towards me?'

You look at Engineer as he continued to play the guitar.

'Should I tell him? Probably not. If I tell him how I feel, he'll probably be weirded out by me... He probably doesn't feel the same towards me...'

Engineer finished the song. He catches you staring at him and you look away. He cocks his head to the side in confusion,"There somethin' wrong, darlin'?"He asks.

You shake your head,"I'm fine..."You say. Engineer frowns,"Ah know there's somethin' wrong. Tell me."

You sigh, knowing if you did back out of this, he would ask you about it until you told him.

"I... I like you more than just a friend..."You say blushing madly,"I never really told you this because I thought you would feel weirded out or you just want to be friends. I understand if you feel that way."

"Oh darlin'."He says as he cupped your chin with his yellow glove. You couldn't really see his eyes since they were covered by his goggles. So all you saw was your reflection on his shiny lensed goggles.

Both of your faces close in the distance between you two. You could feel his hot breath on your lips. Your lips come into contact. Your lips moved in sync and Engineer's hand slips on the back of your head pulling you in closer.

BEEP BEEP!

His Sentry goes off shooting down a (RED/BLU) Scout. You both ignored it and continued to kiss. Your lungs were beginning to burn and you both pulled away catching your breaths.

"I don't find this to be weird. Ah'm glad that you feel the same way."Engineer says. You smile.

"And Ah kinda knew that you liked me."He adds. You blush. Engineer chuckles and you leaned your head on his shoulder and he put an arm around your shoulder holding you close to him. Battle was still going on, but yo and Engie spent the whole time enjoying the rain and each other's presence.
