Hayes
Nash pulls up to the ice cream place resulting in me getting nervous not sure why though.

I'm not even in the mood for ice cream I'm just here to see this Liam guy.

"Get out" Nash says opening his door

I look at him narrowing my eyes at him.

"Stay in here then" he replied I roll my eyes as I get out.

I'm not even sure if she's here yet, I remember how she looks because I went back to the time she sent us a picture of her just to make sure I don't go up to the wrong person.

We walk in, there was barely anybody here so that should make things a little easier. I turn my head to see a family laughing I smile at how adorable their baby is. I then look at the other table to see a group of friends also laughing.

I walk up to the ice cream counter not noticing people in line I look up to see who it is causing my eyes to widen realizing it's Layla.

She was wearing a red jacket, black ripped jeans, white shirt tucked in, and black vans with a jean hat on that I think said faded.

I quickly turn to Nash

"I don't wanna do this, let's just go home." I whisper to him "What was that Hayes?" Nash said loudly causing me to punch him on the forearm.

"Uh nothing" I play it off as I clear my throat. I look up at Layla to see she glared at us then grabs her ice cream with a smile on her lips.

She didn't recognize us?

"Nash," I was going to ask if he seen "I know" he replied "How did she not recognize us?" I ask confused he shrugs his shoulders.

I ordered my ice cream and sit down with Nash he just so happened to choose the table across from Layla.

Oh shit!

I was so caught up on Layla I forgot to check this Liam guy.

And that's when my body tensed up, it was the Liam I absolutely hate with a burning passion.

It was Liam Walker.

As I was ordering my ice cream these two guys come in but I was to busy with my ice cream to even see who it was while I waited for Liam to get his.

One of the guys shouted something out but like I said I was too busy eating my delicious ice cream I only glance over at the two guys then walk to a table.

"You have ice cream on your nose" Liam chuckles as he wiping it off I cross my eyes trying to see it on my nose making both of us laugh.

"You're gonna go blind" he joked "Shut up" I giggled

I noticed in the corner of my eye the same guys sit across from us and kept looking over at us I start to get uncomfortable resulting in me squirming around in my seat.

"So who were those guys texting you earlier?" Liam asked as he leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table.

"Oh just some guys that accidentally added me to their groupchat" I stated taking another bite of my coconut flavored ice cream.

"And you decided to text back some strangers?" He looked at me with a weird face causing me to look down at the table "I mean I guess, they seemed pretty chill, two of them happen to live here in NC" I smile

"Oh really? What are their names?" He asked

"Hayes and Nash" I said

In the corner of my eye I noticed the two guys snap their heads towards us I look over at them too causing my eyes to widen.

How could I not notice earlier!

"What the hell" I say shocked "What- why- how- w-what are you guys doing here!?" I say with a serious tone but chuckle mid way.

"I was in the mood for some ice cream" Nash smiled as he got up to hug me, I do the same.

Mid way he tightens his grip around my waist "Nash, I can't-" I start off "Breathe!" I shout the last part

He let's go "Oh sorry I'm just so happy to finally meet you" he laughs

I laugh too then look at Hayes who was just looking at me and eating his ice cream "No hug?" I chuckle

He laughs and gets up from his seat to embrace me doing the same as Nash "HAYES!" I yelled "Shhh" he laughed putting me down

"I swear y'all wanna kill me" I laugh "Anyways, why didn't you guys say something earlier!?" I lightly punch Hayes on his shoulder.

"Well I was but then when you looked at me I thought you didn't recognize me so I stayed quiet" he scratched the back of his neck

"I glanced over at you guys I didn't even get a good look at you" I roll my eyes playfully

"That explains a lot" Nash laughs

"Oh guys this is Liam, Liam this Hayes and Nash" I introduce them

"What's up man" Nash greets him doing a handshake "Sup" Hayes says with a slight nod

"Are you shy?" I giggle "No I already know him" he says I look at him and Liam, confused.

"Oh yeah Hayes Grier" Liam says in his deep voice "Nice to see you again" he said sitting down

I could feel the sudden tension between them

After eating our ice cream in awkward silence I said bye to Hayes and Nash then left with Liam, getting in his car and driving off.

"What was that all about?" I asked after a while

"What are you talking about?" He asked placing his right hand on my knee with a small grin.

"The tension between you and Hayes, do you guys have something going on?" I asked

"Uhh, n-no I've never spoken to him, I mean yeah we went to school together but never spoken to each other" he said

I shrug it off and lean against the window not wanting to argue with Liam at the moment.

Nash has added Layla to the chat!

Layla: Y'all are so awkward🙄

Matt: Who?

Taylor: What happened?😂

Hayes: It's not my fault...

Gilinsky: Did they ruin your date?

Layla: My date? Liam is just a friend

Hayes: Sure

Layla: He is!

Cameron: So did you get to meet Nash and Hayes?

Nash: She didn't even recognize us the first time she saw us!

Layla: I only glanced over so I didn't get a chance to see who it was!

Johnson: Wow😂

Hayes: Well that's how you know she ain't some crazy fan

Layla: Maybe I am I'm just good at hiding it😈

Carter: Sure okay😂

Aaron: If you were a fan of ours who would you love the most?

Layla: Mmm🤔

Hayes: Guys its obviously me🤗

Layla: No it's Aaron😌

Aaron: HA!

Aaron: I love you too Layla☺️😌

Cameron: I'm vv hurt rn😪

Layla: Ok my top three would be Aaron, Cameron and I'm keeping the third one a mystery😈😚

Cameron: At least I'm in the top three😊😂

Taylor: It's gotta be me! I'm your best friend

Matt: No it's me! I probably talk to her more than any of y'all

Hayes: Guys! It's me bc we have more in common and she's my age!

Johnson: You guys got it all wrong! It's me bc she loves me as if I were her own brother

Layla: I don't even speak to any of you that much😂

Layla: And I actually hate my brother

Nash: So you gonna tell us the third guy before we rip each other to pieces?

Layla: I think you guys would do that either way😂
