Yoongi slumped on the couch once more, to my surprise.

Didn't think he'd be both relaxed and worried about it. If this was Seokjin, he'd yell at me and get upset since the kitchen was a mess.

But he's not Seokjin, he's Yoongi.

"Do you want anything to drink since ice cream is out of the question now?"

"No, it's all good, but I wanna ask..."

"How long were you and Seokjin together?"

Yoongi POV

"I thought you already knew."

Huh?

"Don't you remember?"

 A clashing of cups and dishes in the dishwasher were being washed in the background, making noise.

"When we first texted each other, I mentioned we've been together for 3 years."

"Ah..yeah."

Goddammit, why did I even bother mentioning it? I could have just scrolled through my texts...

"Hey, I have an idea..." Namjoon started. 

"Shoot it."

"Let's go for a walk outside."

"A walk? But isn't it getting dark outside?"

"Exactly! Night walks are the best with someone."

"Aww, I'm 'someone' to you now?" 

"You've always been someone to me, so yeah." He shot back.

On the lowkey, I gotta say I became Soft™ when he said that.

Of course, I'm always Soft™ for Namjoon but that's another thing. 

"Fine, but one of us is buying ice cream on the way."

"Deal."

The air was crisp, and there was a cool breeze. It was a little chilly but nothing bad. Lights were flickering down the deserted sidewalk of the street corner. I turned to Namjoon in curiosity of something.

"Hey Namjoon..."

"Yeah?"

"What do you want to do in the future?"

"In the future? Well...I'm not sure. I'd rather focus on the present than the future,"

"What about you, Yoongi?"

"Hmm...what I want to do right now?"

"Yeah, like anything you want to achieve?"

"Hmm...I guess."

"What is it?"

"This."

I pulled his collar towards me, and closed my eyes, he was so close I could feel his hot breath near my cheek. My heart was racing, ticking with time, thumping and thumping harder. But despite that, I think it's time to find out what both of us are feeling for once and for all.
