Kylo smiled softly and sighed. Hux was honestly the best at times like this, he was curious and shy. It all made his heart flutter. "I think Chewie really likes you." He said as the dog jumped around happily as Hux leaned forward to pet the dog. 

"What breed is he?" Hux looked up at Kylo and noticed how his eyes lit up with happinessl 'sunshine' his mind said and it caused him to blush.

"Huh? Chewie is a mutt. I found him a few years ago wandering around when I was walking home from school." He said and pet Chewie with Hux. Chewbacca was huge compared to them both, he looked to be mixed with a Labrador and some shaggy kind of dog. Hux laughed like a child when Chewie got up to sit on his lap.

Armitage's laughter made Han Solo look up from his steering wheel to look at his son and the other boy. "Ren, come here for a moment." He called and waited for his son to come over to him and he stopped the boat so they were sitting in what looked like a giant lake.. "Stop flirting with that boy." He snapped and Ren blushed angrily and embarrassedly. "Dad!" He hissed.

Hux watch the two start to fight silently and Chewie licked at his cheek, he knew Kylo and his father were talking about him or more like arguing. It felt conflicting to sit aside and watch two people "discreetly" talk about him. 'Father' Hux flinched and looked away from the two of them and crossed his arms over his stomach protectively. Something in him changed or at least it felt like it. 'Panic, run, he's going to get you again.' Hux's mind repeated over and over, sending him into a sudden frenzy of fear.

The two men were distracted by Chewies loud barking. Hux had started crying into the dogs fur and his hands covered his ears. His sobs were followed by wheezing. Kylo rushed over to his side.

"Armitage? Armi what's wrong!?" Kylo put his hand on Hux's back but quickly pulled back when the ginger flinched violently, almost as if Kylo had hit him.

"Step back Kid." Han muttered to Ren and put his hand on Hux's shoulder and pulled Chewie away by his collar. Then he sat down next to Hux and moved his hands away from his ears. "Kid, listen to me. You are okay, so just breathe." He rubbed Hux's back. "Breathe kid, breathe." 

Leia came over and ran her fingers through Hux's hair to calm him and looked at Kylo. "Don't worry, Ben..he's just having a panic attack. You used to get these when you were little when you had night terrors." She whispered. 

Eventually Hux's sobs died down and he was placed in Kylo's arms. Everything hurt him on the inside. Kylo's presence was so comforting in light of everything so that's when he started his litany of I'm sorry's. 

"No." Kylo said quickly and put his hand over Hux's mouth to silence him.

"Wh-What?" Armitage pushed Kylo's hand away and looked startled.

"There is no need for you to be sorry."

"B-But I disturbed all of you, I-I'm not even supposed to be here..you just pity me.." he truly believed Kylo just brought him along out of annoyance and pity, or even boredom.

"I don't pity you!" Kylo shouted, angry that he would be accused of such a thing.

"Then why bring me along!?"

"Because I love you!"

There was a long pause of total silence not even the lakes small waves made noise. Everyone on the boat looked at Kylo quietly.
