Buzz!

Hux's eyes flicked down at the Phone on his lap but quickly snapped back up to his father who was standing in front of him. Another scolding for taking the wrong tone with him and another dark purple bruise left on his skin for not obeying. If people wondered what hell was like, this was it. Not a word could be said and not a glance in the wrong direction or more people would start asking more questions at school. The words hurt worse than the blows to his face. "Useless." and "Dissapointment." Were his least favorite names to be called. 

Armitage spared no time leaving for his room when he was finally dismissed, he looked at his Phone again and it was a message from a number he didn't Recognize.

Hey Hux! It's Kylo from school, I saw you at lunch today and you looked really upset and I just wanted to ask if you are okay. Also my mom is outta town for a week and I wanted to know if you wanted to come over after school tomorrow. :)

Hux looked at the message and sighed, he couldn't stand Kylo Ren he was such a baby sometimes but if it was a way to stay out of the house he was ecstatic to go, he just needed to ask his father if he could go, he didn't know how he was going to do that.

Yeah I'm fine, and I'll see if my Father will let me.

Hux replied and as soon as he sent it he almost immediately got a response back.

Great! Also...are you good at math? I'm kinda bombing Mrs. Charles' class and if my mom finds out I'm screwed. Think you can help?

Hux groaned but maybe he would see less of his father if he studied with Kylo.

Yeah, I have all A's in my classes so if you need any help with anything I'm here.

Kylo sat on his bed basically swooning. The hottest guy in school (at least to him.)  was not only super cute but a genius, there was literally nothing wrong with this boy. Kylo quickly typed back a response.

Sweet! See you tomorrow then I guess.

Ren didn't get a reply so he just guessed the ginger fell asleep and he decided he would too.

Hux looked up at his father who was holding a piece of paper and Hux knew immediately what it was and he knew people would definitely be asking questions tomorrow, he knew if his father found out who really wrote the paper he would never be let out of his room again.

"What is this!" His father yelled.

"I-It's a love letter father...someone stuffed it in my locker today.." 

"You kept it and I will not have my son date anyone! You know what love does don't you!" Brendol grabbed his son by the throat and pulled him closer. "Don't you, you little brat!" 

"Y-Yes father!! I-I'm sorry!" Hux cried at the raging man, he needed to submit immediately or he would be choked half to death like last time for fighting back.

Brendol threw Armitage to the floor and tore up the letter and threw the shreds on the floor. "I refuse to be embarrassed by my son being a whore because he loved someone!" He shouted and slammed the door shut and locked it from the outside. 

Hux squeezed his eyes shut and sobbed into his hands. Hux had written that love letter. It took him forever to figure out the right words to say that he loved that girl that probably didn't even know he was alive. Hux was to be alone in this world and there was no one to help him.

Buzz!

Hux looked up at his phone that sat on the bed and grabbed it. Another message from Kylo.

Thanks a lot btw you are literally a saint, okay good night. Sorry for bothering you so much XD 

Hux didn't know why but the text made him smile slightly, maybe he was useful after all.
