A year early
'Wonder what the old walking tub of lard wants with us this time.'
The question came from within the head of one Izuku Midoriya as he made his way to the principal's office. The boy was about 5'4 but was quite muscular with his hair falling to the base of his neck.
The boy was currently in his 2nd year at Aldera Middle School and was more than ready to get through his 3rd and never think about this school. A school filled with croup and quirkist teachers who care more about their reputation then the actual students and was more then willing to turn a blind eye when their star students acted out of line, even if it was at the expense of their other students.
Right now Izuku was heading towards the principal's office having been called there as his class had just about finished for the day.
"Now, now Loki be polite. True the man is...unpleasant but there's no need to needlessly insult him." An older sounding male voice scolded with the now named Loki giving a hum.
"Oh please we all know there are plenty of reasons to insult the man Hades.' Loki immediately responded as Hades let out a tire sigh.
Once he got to his destination be blinked in surprise when he saw his mother, Inko Midoriya siting there waiting. Inko was a tall and slim woman and one of the best prosecutors in the country having won many cases over her career.
"Mom? What's going on here?" Izuku greeted her causing the woman to stand. "That was something I was hoping you could tell me Izuku." She greeted her son as the secretary seeing them both there contacted her boss. "Principal Kobayakawa, the Midoriyas are both here." She informed her boss who coughed on the other line. "Very good, send them in." He instructed before cutting the line as the secretary waved them inside.
"Ah Izuku and Ms.Inko it's always a pleasure to see you!" Kobayakawa greeted them joyfully while both had to hold back grimaces. Kobayakawa is an overweight and bald middle-aged man. He wears a beige suit, white undershirt and red bow tie. However it wasn't the man's appearance that caused their reaction but the man's attitude.
The man was a fake in almsot every sense of the word and was willing to do almost anything if it meant getting his way in a situation. Often being overly friendly with students and parents when wanting something or having a plan in mind. It was a tactic that Izuku, Inko an almost everyone else had caught on to immediately.
The man was insufferable as well as unqualified for the job and many wondered how he along with the majority of the staff still had their jobs.
"Principal Kobayakawa." Inko greeted him naturally as she and Izuku sat down in the chairs across from his desk. "You said you had an opportunity for Izuku over the phone." Inko said getting straight to business with Izuku quirking in eyebrow in curiosity.
The man gave an enthusiastic nod missing the disgusted looks on the Midoriya's faces as his fat jiggled. "Indeed I do! Tell me Izuku, my boy your goal is to get to join UA and become a hero correct?" The man questioned with Izuku giving a slow nod causing the principal's grin to widen. "Well what if I say you could join the school next year?"
"It's a trap." Was the unanimous thought Izuku and his tennanets mind. "Japanese law prevents students from skipping grades." Prometheus felt the need to say, remembering Izuku having read about that law years ago.
Inko was of similar mind as she glanced at the man suspiciously. "And just how would Izuku even accomplish something like that, given the laws of our country?" She asked her tone starting to become that of the one she used when she was questioning a witness.
The man simply smiled and slid over a letter. "That is the case normally but after sending in a recommendation principal Nezu was more than happy to accept you early into the entrance exam." Kobayakawa informed as Inko and Izuku read over the letter that was given to them.
Sure enough it was exactly what the man promised, a letter permitting Izuku to take the exam despite not having completed middle school.
"Well it certainly seems real." Tesla observed also reading the leader over. "Yes but the question is why?" Ra growled in suspicion. "These parasites having been trying to latch on to you for the last 2 years now boy, Don't tell me you actually believe he's doing it out of the 'goodness of his heart.'" The Egyptian son god said, spitting out the last part with disgust with Izuku scowling at the arrogant god but had to agree with him.
"Thank you sir for the offer.' Izuku spoke making sure to hide his suspicion behind a wall of gratitude. "Though if you'll humor me, could you tell me exactly why you did this? I'm grateful for the opportunity but just a little confused." Izuku questioned with Inko giving an almost invisible nod at her son while keeping her face blank.
Unfortunately the man simple gave them a smile. "What's wrong with a principal helping their student accomplish their dreams? Your grades are excellent, some of the best if not the best in the school. Your quirk is top notch and you've honed it well. I see no reason why I shouldn't have sent in the letter." The principal's answer was vague and meant to play to the ego of the receiving the praise.
Luckily for the man Izuku and Inko while seining through the man's ploy. "Well thank you for such an opportunity. We'll be sure to think about it principal Kobayakawa." Inko said as she got up to leave with her son following soon afterwards. The man's smile faltered for just moment before returning. "Of course ma'am whatever you think is best." He told the woman who let out a hum.
"And." She said after a moment. "Should I decline the offer or Izuku is not permitted in. I'll be removing Izuku from Aldera for the remainder of this year and next year." Inko announced surprising the other occupants in the room. "Really?" The man asked and no one missed the tone of relief that came along with it.
"Yes, Izuku will finish his year with online classes. As for next year we'll have to wait and see." Inko confirmed her eyes narrowing dangerously when she saw the man slump in relief. "Well whatever you think is best, who are we to stop a mother trying to do right by her son?" The principal gave a small laugh just as the final bell rang.
"Well then it was a pleasure having you enrolled here Izuku, and we wish you luck with whatever you do from here." Kobayakawa said extending his hand which Izuku took. "Thank you sir, it was a pleasure going here." The boy lied but saw no reason to leave on an unpleasant note before the pair headed out the door.
And once they were gone the overweight man slumped down in his chair. "Thank goodness." He whispered in relief. "He's actually gone." The man muttered while taking his handkerchief and dapping the sweat from his forehead.
Izuku Midoriya was not a bad student. Excellent grades, friendly and helpful and a quirk that was bound to make him a top notch hero. A hero that was bound to attract attention to the middle school he to. However there was a problem. There other star student Bakugou Katsuki. Smart, powerful quirk and another obvious future hero they can market as coming from their school.
The only problem was that he had a slight attitude problem but even then it wasn't that bad. So what if a few desk had to be replaced every week due to Bakugou destroying them along with other school supplies. Who cares if some of the stuff that comes out of the young blond's mouth was enough to send students away in tears? And was it really so bad that a few times a week multiple students had to go to the nurse's office to be treated for burns?
Not really considering he and the school board had managed to keep him in school while keeping the boy's record clean.
And they must be correct considering they also have some as important as Detnerat's CEO Rikiya Chikazoku as one of their finical backers with the man himself appulding such methods that they had been using.
However out of everyone in this school there was only one person that really challenged Bakugou and that Midoirya himself. It was rare and for the most part Midoriya would usually just ignore the blonde Explosion user but on the few times that he did retaliate the boy was vicious in his retribution, venom dripping from every word.
Kobayakawa was just thankful that Midoriya never went physical behind pushing Bakugou away whenever he got to intense.
That lead to the principal's dilemma. He knew that the powder keg was growing between the two of them and that if something didn't change, then sooner or later something would come along to break the camel's back and he'd be left to pick up the pieces.
That's when the man called a meeting to see if his staff members had any ideas that to fix this solution. First they thought to simply separate the two boys for the next year but Bakugou was like a blood hound and would seek out Midoriya at every turn. growing anger the longer it took to find him. Next up was to try and send one of them to another school but that raised the question of who they would send as well as which would be easier to deal with.
If that had decided to send Midoriya, they would need to call in his mother to either come up with some kind of excuse or try to explain the situation without making it sound to bad, less they gain her anger. As for Bakugou he'd flat out refuse to go, no doubt ranting about ruining his 'perfect origin story.' This would also mean trying to explain the situation to Mitsuki Bakugou who would be less than pleased in learning what they've been allowing her son to get away with.
And even if they did manage to convince her to send Bakugou to another school district he doubted it would be long before she was notified of his true behavior which would eventually come back to them.
In their desperation on the teachers did through out proposing an offer to one of the boys that would allow them to skip their final year in middle school and try for UA early. Both had some of the best scores in the school and amazing quirks, no doubt both would at the very least be able to be considered for a spot.
This also got Kobayakawa thinking about the possibilities. If by some miracle that the chosen boy was chosen then the prestige their school would gain would raise immeasurably. And on the chance that he'd fail Kobayakawa was more than happy to propose a few schools the boy could transfer to 'spare them the shame of having to return defeated.'
As for which boy to choose that was actually pretty easy. Bakugou's attitude was an unmissable red flag that would be noticed by UA immediately, probably before the entrance test were even finished. This could lead to an investigation of the school and soon everyone that worked there would be screwed.
Midoriya on the other hand had the maturity needed for it to work. He was friendly enough despite really only having a few friends from the basketball team and for the most part was able to act calm despite their clearly being moments when he was holding back his rage.
So with no small amount of concern and doubt Kobayakawa sent a letter of recxmadnation to Principal Nezu seeing if there was anyway one of his 2nd years could try and attempt to the entrance exam. Luckily Midoriya's record was good enough to the point he didn't need to exaggerate anything beyond claiming he thought the boy was ready.
And just a few hours later to his shock and joy he received a response from the unknown animal claiming that they would be more then willing to allow the boy to try out before giving out the ncsseacary information.
To top this off Inko Midoriya took care of the final piece of the puzzle by removing her son from the school. The man knew the woman didn't exactly like him but she was cordial enough whenever they meet. But with the woman now removing her son, Bakugou will have no reason to go on rampages anymore and so long as everyone is smart enough to stay out of his way everything would be fine.
'Yes in deed. The man thought with a smug smile as he sat in his chair. Everything was finally going his way.
Line break.
"So, what do you think?" Inko asked as she drove them home to which Izuku hummed as he read over the note as well as the directions that came with it. "Honestly I kinda want to go for it." Izuku admitted as he continued to look over. "I mean this is a real acceptance letter which means they must think I at least have a chance right?" Izuku questioned.
"Indeed. Despite what we've heard I doubt Principal Nezu would bother doing something like this unless he was genuine." A man's voice reasoned. "An excellent point sir Hermes but never underestimate someone's cruelty or malice." A man with an English accent cautioned.
"I guess so." Inko muttered unaware of the conversations going on within her son's head. "But Izuku are you sure you want to do this? You'd probably be singled out from the start and what would your classmates think if they found out?" Inko questioned. "I doubted they'd care mom. A year really isn't that important." Izuku theorized.
"Yeah you'll probably get some weird looks at first but that should die out soon enough and if anyone is that upset about it then they have more issues then simply being classmates with a kid a year younger then them." Shiva muttered lazily.
Inko still looked unsure but after sparing a quick glance at Izuku who seemed to have made up his mind she let out a sigh as she refocused on the road. "Alright Izuku if you're sure." Inko relented getting a smile from Izuku. "Just promise you'll be careful.' She said though it sounded more likely pleading.
This sobered Izuku up enough for Izuku to nod. "I will mom, I promise." He said clutching the paper's in his hand, his mind already working on anything he might need to make sure he would succeed.
Izuku had been given an amazing opportunity and he was going to make sure to make the most of it.
Line break.
Inko Midoriya had been true to her word and pulled Izuku from Aldera. This caused a surge of fear to run through the school now that Bakugou terrorize the school unchallenged while Bakugou simple sneered at everyone who he thought looked at him wrong while often destroying parts of their property.
The only exception to this was Izuku's small group of friends who merely grew more and more annoyed at the blond as the school year started winding down. Luckily for all of them, they had their own share of growing fame that gave them a bit of protection whenever they retaliated against Bakugou, a fact that more than one was more then happy to abuse.
It was this group of friends that Izuku was texting with the day of entrance exam.
Copy Cat: GOOD LUCK MIDORICCHI I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Candy Crush: Do your best Midor-chin and try to get in. Bakagou is getting more and more annoying I might have to crush him soon.
Pinky: You've got this Dekirumin, we all believe in you!
Little Phantom. Your ready Midoriya you'll do great.
Lazy Light. Show those chumps what you're made off Dekiru and I'll send you picture of the moron's face when he finds out. It's gonna be hilarious.
Oha Asa supremacy: Cancer's are the luckiest today so you shouldn't worry. And if you have a their lucky item. (An idol of someone you admire) you should be fine.
Emperor Crimson: It seems you're pulling ahead of me Izuku but believe me I will catch up. I will keep my end of our promise just I know you'll keep yours.
Izuku smiled as he read the text messages while clutching a small Mirko doll in his pocket as he read about the lucky item before smirking in determination as he read the final comment just as he made it to UA.
Honestly even though he was just a year younger, a part of Izuku thought he'd stand out more but no one was giving him so much as a passing glance. The one who did was the hero Ectoplasm or rather one of the clones that were checking IDs. The clone examined the ID gave the boy the briefest of looks of consideration before waving him inside to the auditorium where he and the rest of the UA hopefuls would be taking the written exam.
The exam was actually easier than Izuku expected, sure there were one or two questions Izuku was sure he messed up on but for the most part Izuku could say he was certain he aced. Something he had to heavily thank the smarter of sprits in his head for due to all the tutoring they gave him over the years.
Once all the test were collected Present Mic showed.
"What's up everyone! Can I get a YEAH?!" Mic greeted them before turning his ear waiting for. a response.
"YEAH!"
Izuku wasn't ashamed to say he jumped along with everyone else at the shout while Present Mic's grin grew even wider.
"That's what I'm taking about! Now let's get down to business!" The DJ "Each of you little listeners will be doing 10 minute mock battles in suburban settings! There are 7 different zones that you'll all be divided into. There will be 4 types of enemy with 3 of them ranging from 1 to 3 points. The final one will be worth no points. The points depend on the level of difficulty so play this smart. Your goal is to simply destroy as many robots as possible.
Keep in mind however that friendly fire and sabotage will result in immediately disqualification!"
As the hero continued on with the explanation Izuku read over the pamphlet. It essentially told them the same thing however it also mentioned shut off buttons for each of the robots and were to find them, as well as how they fought. Something that Present Mic hadn't mentioned yet.
"It's another test." Beelzebub pointed out. "One to see who would actually read the information that was given and who would go in with the bare minimum." The sin of glutonney observed sounding just the tiniest bit impressed. "Information Warfare is vital and can be the key to winning any conflict. Guess it's a lesson a lot of these brats are going to need to learn." King Leonidas muttered in boredom as he wanted the test to start already.
"It matters not. All that matters boy is for you to show the rest of these insects their place in our world." The voice of Odin or rather Norse Odin echoed in his mind with an edge of warning in his tone with Izuku resisting the urge to roll his eyes. 'It's gonna be a real treat once the original wakes up along with the rest of the Yggdrasil wake up.' Izuku thought sarcastically while Odin glowered but said nothing else.
"Eh we can deal with that when it becomes a problem. For now it is s time to finally cut lose!" Soji Okita remarked, his tone filled with excitement. "Indeed! You've been training for this for years Izuku! It's time for all that to finally bear fruit!" Susanoo added on.
"While that is indeed true Izuku must also retain a certain amount of calmness, the last thing we need is for him to be disqualified." Izanagi reminded them just as Present Mic finished the explanation and ushered them out to the busses.
The ride was silent as the other test takers were mentally preparing for the test, having changed into their exercise gear. Izuku's outfit consisted of a blue tank top, army green pants and black boots. It was during this time of preparation that Izuku a golden ring appeared shimmered into existence on Izuku's finger. "You really think you're going to need that Izuku?" Raiden questioned with Izuku shrugging. 'You never know.' He thought right as the bus stopped allowing them to exit.
Prensent Mic had severely downplayed where they would be taking their test. The suburban area had turned out to be an entire mock city. "Seriously what is this schools budget to be able to afford crap like this?" Buddha muttered right as Izuku noticed the door start to open.
"And start!"
As everyone turned to glance up at Mic in confusion Izuku shot into the arena, perfectly willing to take any advantage he could get. "A smart move, they never said how many points are needed to pass, so the best course of action." Kojiro Sasuki reminded started to say with Lu Bu finishing the statement. "To slaughter any enemy that we see!" He laughed bloodlust flowing off him right as a 1 pointer appeared.
"Target-." Was all the robot got out before Izuku delivered a punch that tore a hole through its body causing the machine to collapse. The whirling of blades caught his attention and looking up he saw that he was surrounded by 6 robots each worth 3 points each. "That's better." Izuku thought water manifested around him before forming into tridents that zoomed into the machines destroying them instantly.
"Mediocre." Came the instant judgment of Poseidon as Izuku grabbed hold of a charging 2 pointer and threw it into an oncoming horde of 2 and 3 pointer. "Okay that should be around 37." Izuku thought before seeing another group coming his way. Grinning Izuku raised his hand as lightning coursed through it as he aimed it at the approaching army.
Only for the something to whiz past his head and collide with the army sending it up in a giant fireball that destroyed a good part of the suroundings. "Who's the dead man that just dead that?!" Shiva demanded ready to bust the idiot's head and the culprit made himself known.
"Oh yeah, that's what I'm taking about!" Turning Izuku saw the one most likely responsible. He had red hair that has a single tuft of hair hanging in the middle of his forehead, red-brown eyes and wore a black headband with three white squares signs across it where it props up his hair and gives it a spikier appearance.
The boy kept celebrating until he noticed Izuku's annoyed expression. "Hey man something wrong?" He questioned "I know I pretty much stole those from you but you seemed to be doing so well I figured-." He trailed off when he noticed Izuku pointing at the corner.
"Had this been a real you likely would have just killed an innocent civilian, not to mention had your aim just been a little off I could have been hit instead." Izuku lectured the boy with a glare. "Think next time before you fire off your quirk like an idiot." He finished before walking off as the boy started to panic.
"Shit, your right!" He yelled as he started running after Izuku in search for more robots. "You don't think I've already screwed myself do you?!" He asked fearfully with Izuku shrugging. "How should I know? I went to the same briefing you did." Izuku remained him causing the boy to slump over in defeat. Seeing this Izuku sighed absently sending a bolt of lighting at an approaching 3 pointer.
"Look maybe it's not too late." He tried to comfort the teen. "Mistakes like that have to happened all the time during this test and I doubt they'd hold it to much against you." Izuku told him. "I don't know, the fire ball was pretty reckless." Buddha muttered which Izuku promptly ignored as the boy turned to him with hopeful tears in his eyes. "You think so?" He questioned with Izuku shrugging. "I mean there's no reason to give up until the end right?" Izuku questioned which seemed to do the trick as the boy shot back up to his feet a fire now burning in his eyes.
"Yeah you're right! I've worked to long and hard to be stop here! I'll give the test my all and prove that I can be a hero!" He roared to the heavens before turning to Izuku with a grin. "Hey thanks for the pep talk....uhh." He trailed off once he realized he didn't catch the other boy's name.
"Izuku Midoriya." Izuku introduced himself with the red headed boy grinning as he pointed to himself. "I'm Dot Barrett, master of Explomb!" Dot introduced himself as three fire bombs circled him. 'Of course he uses explosions.' Izuku thought while trying hard to keep his expression blank "What about you, your quirk water manipulation or something?" Dot questioned remembering seeing the water tridents from behavior.
"That's part of it, I'll explain later." Izuku promised before screams and the sounds of battle drew their attention. "Sounds bad, think we should help?" Dot questioned only to raise an eyebrow when Izuku took a strand of his hair and blew only to gasp in shock when dozens of Izuku look alike surrounded them.
The clones all looked towards Izuku who gave a nod and suddenly the clones were in the air flying towards the sounds of danger leaving Izuku with a gaping Dot. "Like I said I'll explain later." Izuku once more promised before looking around and noticing he they were now surrounded by robots. "For now we've got our own mess to clean up." He said while gesturing around them as the boys got back to back. "So how do you want to do this?" Dot asked with a fireball ready to be launched. "Quick and merciless." Was Izuku's answer before his ring started to glow before a spear appeared in his hand.
Dot blinked at the weapon's sudden appearance. "Okay so are you going to get up close and personal or?" Izuku didn't let Dot finish as He threw the spear with such force it tore through a good dozen robots before finally stopping. "Okay.. so now what you've got to go and get.." Dot once more was interrupted as another spear appeared in his hands.
".....That spear got any other tricks or is that it?" Dot had to ask and Izuku smirking in response slammed the butt of the spear on to the ground.
BOOM
Where the spear head once laid now held a creator filled with robotic scrap. "Forget I asked." Dot muttered with Izuku smirked. "The Draupnir Spear, a fine weapon though Chaos might have issues with you naming it after his alchemist bracelet." Odin had to admit as Izuku smirked and readied another spear as the robots surrounded them.
"Ready to fight Barrett?" Izuku questioned with Dot smrirking as two fire balls joined the first as the robots closed in.
"OH HELL YEAH!"
Line break.
"Oh quite a few interesting prospects this year." Midnight smiled as she watched the feed from the various battle-sites, smiling as a green haired girl wielding a a three section staff annihilate the surrounding robots."Indeed we've got quite a the crop trying out this time." Cementoss muttered watching a blond young man looking entirely bored as he was surrounded by downed robots.
Another screen showed a slivered eyed girl in a burst red energy and rose pedals disappear along with a the robots surrounding her only to reappear high in the air along with the robots that crashed to the ground.
"Indeed, some focused on Attacking." Ectoplasm thought watching a giant teen rip roots to pieces while others are dedicated to defending and helping." 13 said smiling in her suit as she watched an orange haired girl conquering a orange shield to defend her fellow exaimmne before healing them by covering them in the same orange energy.
"And there are others that are exceeding our expectations." Nezu smiled briefly glancing at the various monitors that showed the clones of Midoriya fighting robots while also helping other test takers. "So are we really taking in someone who should be going into their last year of middle school?" Shota Aizawa questioned with no small amount of doubt in his tone.
"Well he has already passed the written exam." Nezu reveled with a laugh having graded it personally when the students were being briefed on the practice exam
"Still there's one last test they need to pass." Nezu said as Vlad King flipped a glass case and flipped the switch that was hidden underneath the case.
"Let's see how our hero hopefuls handle this little hurtle.
Line break.
"Well, huff, huff, if that doesn't get us into the hero course I don't know what will!" Dot exclaimed as he and Izuku sat atop a small hill of robot parts. "Think I got around 78 points all things considered." Dot guessed before turning to Izuku. "What about you Midoirya?" He asked with Izuku grunting. "Around 93 I think."
Dot opened his mouth to respond when suddenly the ground started to shake violently and from the ground burst a massive robot that could only be the zero pointer. "HOLY CRAP!" Dot yelled absolutely terrified. "How the hell is that worth 0 points?!" He demanded while Izuku hummed.
"Well Present Mic did say it was a dud villain." Izuku remembered with Dot gulping as he created a few more fireballs. "pretty big dud." He muttered before turning to Izuku about to ask for a plan when there was a flash and loud boom. Looking over Dot gasped in shock ha he was Izuku now holding a massive hammer.
Izuku casually walked over to the hammer and grabbed it by the handle, lifting it up with his a grunt as his muscles strained under the weight. "This is Mjolnir or at least in its default form." Izuku grunted as lightning crackled over the hammer as he flung it over his shoulder. "Now stand back, I'm going to get rid of that walking scrap pile." Izuku warned and immediately Dot dived for cover as Izuku wound up and hurled the hammer directly at the zero pointer.
The impact caused the entire city to shake as the sound of thunder echoed for miles. Mjolnir tore through the zero pointer with such force that it was instantly blown into bits that were raining down all over the test site while Mjnolnir acting on its own smashed any large remains into harmless bits of scrap.
Dot even after everything he had seen during the test so far couldn't help but gulp at sight. 'Guess there really are guys like that out there." He muttered as he watched Izuku dismiss his hammer right as the buzzer went off.
"Times up everyone, if you're hurt please go see Recovery Girl so she can fix you right up!" Present Mic's voice echoed the stadium as he officially ended the test. With the test over and feeling the rest of his energy leaving him Dot's knees buckled as he started to fall only for Izuku to catch him. "You okay there buddy?" Izuku questioned as they began to walk while Dot gave a grateful smile. "Thanks for this man. It's good to know main characters like us can look out for each other!" He laughed.
'I don't even want to know.' Izuku thought with a twitching eyebrow as Dot's words started to sound a bit too familiar to his liking. "Anyway hopefully with everything we did, it'll earn us enough points to get into the hero course." Izuku muttered as the memories of the clones started to come back to him,
"Of course we'll get in!" Dot vowed as he gestured to the two of them. "There's no way the teaching staff's going to break us this dynamic duo!" The Explomb user guaranteed with a winning smile and thumbs up with Midoriya unable to hide his amusement.
"Well we'll have to see."
Line break.
With the test over Nezu turned to 13 and Aizawa, the two homeroom teachers this year. "So which of you would want the dynamic duo?" Nezu questioned already showing he had no intention of separating the pair. Aizawa groaned as he hid his face in his palms while 13 giggled. "I'll take them if Aizawa doesn't want them." She offered, seeing how much Izuku's clones helped out the other test takers. And while Dot did at first act a little to careless with his attacks, he more then made up for it in her eyes with his teamwork of Midoriya not to mention realizing his mistake.
However Aizawa groaned and shook his head. "I'll take them." He confirmed. "If what I read about Midoriya's quirk is right, my quirk might be needed to shut it off if it goes out of control. Plus I could teach him a few underground tactics that can further increase his skills." Aizawa rationalized "As for Barrett, he's an arrogant idiot who thinks way to highly of himself." Aizawa criticized before sighing. "But overall he seems mostly harmless and if given the right push and direction could become a hero worth the ego."
Nezu's smile widened before turning to 13 who gave a nod. "Well alright looks like we've got our first 2 members of class 1A!" Nezu cheered before looking at all the other monitors
"Now then let's see who will be joining them."
Line break.
The following week was strange for Izuku. The green haired boy had continued his on line classes as he waited for UA's response. He told his mother and friends about what happened and all of them were positive he was going to get in. Izuku was happy for their reassurance but he wasn't going to assume anything until the acceptance letter was in his hand.
One night about a week after the exam there was knock on the door. "Izuku could you get that?" Inko asked while in the kitchen preparing dinner. Izuku got off the cough and headed for the door blinking as he peered through the eye hole only to see nothing. Raising an eyebrow Izuku opened the door only for his eyes to widen when he saw it was none other than Principal Nezu.
"P-Principal Nezu?!" Izuku exclaimed and shock as Nezu raised a paw. "I need it is Principal Nezu though the question is am I bear, a rat or a-" "You're a stroat" Izuku muttered a little absentmindedly as Nezu's smile seemed to grow in size.
"Correct." He said and his tone was much more excited. "I apologize for bothering you but I was hoping I could come in. There are a couple of things I was hoping I could discuss with you and your mother." Nezu requested and Izuku instantly moved aside letting the principal inside.
"Why thank you. I promise this won't take long." Nezu said removing his shoes and heading into the apartment. "Izuku who was at the door?" Inko asked coming from the kitchen only to freeze at the sight of Nezu. "Mom this is Principal Nezu." Izuku introduced with Nezu bowing. "It's a pleasure ma'am. I was hoping we could discuss a couple of things regarding your son." He said to the woman who froze monetarily before rushing off into the kitchen to turn off the stove before coming back "Of course let's talk somewhere more comfortable ." She gestured to the living room,
Soon the 3 were sitting down with Nezu taking the couch and the two Midoriya's sitting in chairs three cups of tea on the table. The two Midoriyas were obviously nervous that was easy to see. "No need to be so worried I only wish to ask young Midoriya a few questions as well as bring some good news.
"Good news?" Izuku muttered before his eyes widened and he shot out of his chair. "Does that mean that I passed the entrance exam?!" Izuku shouted with Nezu cackling. "Oh you absolutely shattered it! With 155 villain points and 167 rescue points your total score is 323! Not only securing you as 1st place but also shattering All Might's previous record!" Principal Nezu confirmed as Inko with tears in her eyes leapt out of her seat and hugged her son.
"HA! HA! how'd you like that?! We shattered the symbol of peace's score! Wonder if we can get him to fight?" Zeus cackled, his muscles budging at the thought. "Congratulations young Midoriya and welcome to your hero academia!" Nezu welcomed as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a packet. "Everything you need will be explained in here." Nezu explained as he gently set it on the table.
"Now I was hoping I could ask you a few questions about your middle school." Nezu requested with Iuzku raising an eyebrow. "What do you want to know about that hellhole?" Izuku qustioned in disbelief. "Izuku!" Inko scolded with Izuku snorting. "It's a hellhole mom, I've told you all about it. The teachers don't give a shit about students unless they have powerful quirks or parents! Said students are allowed to get away with anything short of murder. If a club doesn't preform right their entire budget is taken. Food that's horrible even by school standards and a nurses office that hasn't been stocked properly in years!"
"Izuku please I know it's bad but I'm sure this isn't the type of things Principal Nezu wanted to hear." Inko interrupted only for Nezu to wave it off. "Oh no this is excellent. Please tell me more!" Nezu requested with Izuku grunting. "There are fights everyday and I've more then once had to stop a fight by pulling someone off another guy or pull to morons apart." Izuku admitted causing Inko to groan at the reminder. "Those should be on my record as light scuffles by the way." He told Nezu who nodded.
"I saw those, it's nothing we haven't seen before and from the sounds of it nothing for you to be ashamed of." Nezu told the green haired boy. "Oh I'm not I'm actually quite proud of it." He admitted causing Nezu to grin. "Well that's good to hear, now these are a lot of serious charges that I'm more then happy to look into but before I do can you think of anyway that your school might have stayed open for so long despite what's going on?" Nezu questioned and nether of the Midoriya's missed the way Nezu in no way shape or form doubted what Izuku said to be the truth.
"Well not really." Izuku said while scratching the back of his head. "I mean they are funded and supported by Denerat that big support company so that might have something to do with it." Izuku gave his best guess not noticing the gleam that appeared in Nezu's eyes. "Interesting." Nezu said as he downed his tea and got up. "Well I thank you for your time and once more congratulations on being accepted into UA." Nezu said as he headed for the door.
"No thank you for coming Principal Nezu and I promise I won't let you down." Izuku promised excitement and determination flowing off him. "I'm sure you won't young man. I just ask that you hold off on telling people just yet. Not all hero schools have done their entrance exam yet and I don't want the other principals mad at me when it's discovered we let a student skip a grade and their inbox is flooded with recommendation emails." Nezu requested.
"Of course sir I did tell a my small group of fiends already, but they know how to keep their mouths shut and in some cases how to make the others keep their mouth shut." Izuku promised and Nezu gave another burst of laughter. "Well then we shouldn't have any issues." Nezu said as he opened the door to leave. "I'll be seeing you soon Mr.Midoriya." Nezu said and Izuku nodded. "I won't let you down sir." Izuku promised with Nezu giving one last nod and smile before leaving out the door.
With the principal now leaving Izuku turned to his mother only to see her rushing into her room. "Mom?" He asked only for the woman to stick her head out. "Go get dressed Izuku, we're going out to celebrate! My baby got into UA and early too!' She started to cry before heading back inside her room.
Izuku's face became a grin as he rushed into his room to do the same. 'I've been given the opportunity of a life time.' Izuku thought while clenching his fist. 'And I'm not going to let it go to waste.'
Outside and getting into the car that was waiting for him Nezu smiled as he brought out a tablet as the car took off. Young Midoriya was even more interesting than he first thought brutally honest and willing to admit to what he did. He initially wanted to talk to him about why the school wanted to skip him ahead but he left with something much better.
A school that's giving off a major MLA vibe while being backed by the company whose CEO is the descendant of the founder of the MLA?
Well it looks like Nezu's got a new project and a new target.
To be continued?
Well here's the potential first chapter of a new story. Like you just read in this story Izuku gets into UA early and everything that happens because of it. And I know what happens in cannon but Aizawa gonna have a full class this time around for the most part.
Now I need to know if you guys want to see this as an actual story or not. Admittedly it's still got a pretty good chance of becoming what but I want to hear from you guys.
Not much left to say I think my next update will be Ashura but we'll see.
That's it for now.
Till next time,
Bye.
