-He is an OSS agent sent to the European front to assist the French resistance on their war against the Axis powers.

The main villain:

Sven Kraul (aka the Eisenmann)

- a SS task force officer as well as Heydrich's personal assassin and right hand man. Wears a mask due to him facing an acid attack by a communist during his years with the Brownshirts.

Side characters: Max carbonell

-a British trained operative of the French resistance

-a professor who is the secret leader of the local Resistance branch

                                    claire guehenno

-Jean's daughter and a member of the Underground

                                    Obergruppenfuhrer Heinrich Volde of the SD

-leader of the secret military police brought over to Paris to stamp out the resistance.
