AA get up and pray before he went closed to Tehzeeb and wake her up "honey get up" he said but Tehzeeb just groan and readjusted on the bed "baby stand up, you need to bath and pray, the time is going"

"Please let me be. Am tired, just some minutes, and I promised to get up. "

"Am sorry baby," and he picked her up straight to the bathroom he did not drop her anywhere, but the bathtub was where he set hot water and a pinch of salt. Immediately, Tehzeeb body got in contact with the water she screamed , and AA did not allow her to go out of the water

"Are you trying to kill me? This water is too hot," she shouted at him, which he just smiled because his getting used to her screams and shouted out already

"It's good for you. If you go out now, it will be difficult for you to walk, and I don't want people to know what happened unless you want that, " AA said, which Tehzeeb keeps mute

"Then go out. I can bathe myself,"

"If you promise to change the water two times,"

"Fine,have heard you. Go, please. " AA smiled and left smiling because he didn't know what she's shy about when he had seen everything already, but he found it cute to see her shy of him. Tehzeeb changed the water two times as she promised Cox she knew she needed it too, just that she didn't want to admit it. She finished bathing and performing ablution before she tried to walk out, but the pain she felt made her scream, which AA fling opened the door immediately. "What happened? Did you fall down?" AA asked, panicked, which Tehzeeb didn't say anything."Talk to me, baby, " he said worriedly

"Is it not you that caused it, now I cannot walk and I won't be able to prepare breakfast for Marmie" and she started crying which AA sighed he don't know what he has gotten himself into today

"Am sorry, let me help you out," he said, about to touch her

"Don't touch me" she said in-between tears and begins to walk but just two step and she screamed again without waiting for her AA picked her up and take her to the bed after he has changed the bedsheet.

"Let me get you your hijab, so you can pray and continue sleeping," AA said and did just that, which she prayed

"What will Marmie think now, I don't even know how to face her," Tehzeeb whined, which made AA to chuckled "oh you're even laughing, no problem."

"Am sorry I was not laughing at you. Don't worry. I will know what to tell Marmie. "

"And what is it that you will te her?" She asked, looking at him, hoping it's not what she was thinking, which AA laughed again

"Calm down, madam. You don't expect me to tell her what happened right or should i?" He said teasingly, which Tehzeeb pouted and lay on the bed because of the body pain she's feeling

Marmie wakes up and dressed up for work, but when she comes out and was told Tehzeeb was no where in sight she smiled and said Alhamdulillah inside,hoping it was what she's thinking and she will be the most happiest mother on Earth. She decided not to go to work again and entered the kitchen to prepare pepper soup for her daughter since she knew she would need it. "Talatu, help and arrange the ingredients for fish pepper soup, please.

"Hajiya, are you going to the kitchen yourself?" Talatu asked

"Yes. Any problem?"

"No, Hajiya, but you should let me do it for you if that's what you're carving."

"Don't worry, thank you. Just do as I said, " which Talatu left to do what she was asked to. Marmie quickly began her work, and with no time she was through which she arranged everything in the basket and asked Talatu to take it to there part "just knock on the door and leave it there. Son will come out and pick it himself, " Marmie said to Talatu before she left the kitchen. Talatu did as she was told

They both slept off and it's was AA that was the first to wake up when he checked the time it was already 12pm which he went and bath,he was wearing his clothes when he heard the knock thus he walked to the door and saw the basket but he saw Talatu's retreating figure which means Marmie send her, he smiled and went back inside then he saw Tehzeeb on the bed with tears which he quickly go close to her "what happened and why are you crying?" He asked

"I can't stand up, and it's your fault," Tehzeeb said

"Don't worry, when you have another seat bath with hot water, you will feel good," AA said reassuringly

"Do you want to burn me or what?" Tehzeeb said, which made AA smile because of her childish behaviour

"It's either you have a seat bath so Babe won't notice or do you want her to know what happened," he said, which Tehzeeb quickly shook her head

"No, i will have the seat bath. I can't face her again if she knows"

"Good then. After that, you can come and eat your breakfast before taking some medication. "

"What will Marmie eat now?" Tehzeeb asked worriedly

"Don't worry, she has eaten and even sent some for us,"

"Are you serious?" Tehzeeb asked

"Yeah. Enough with the talking, let's get you inside the hot water, " and he picked her up, which Tehzeeb did not struggle Cox she has no strength for that now. AA dropped her and left the toilet before Tehzeeb did her business and came out of the toilet, walking gradually because she felt better than before. She wore her clothes before AA came in with the tray of food. Immediately, the aroma hit her nostril her stomach made some noise, which she felt embarrassed. " Don't worry, it's high time for your stomach to complain it's almost 1 now. So, seat and eat, or should I feed you?"

"No," she said quickly before she devoured her food. She didn't know she was this hungry until she finished one plate of the pepper soup with tea

"I can see you're good at eating," AA teased, but Tehzeeb didn't say anything. She got up to carry the tray, but he stopped her collecting the tray from her. Tehzeeb wanted to check on Marmie but was shy to face her because of how she's walking. "Let me go and check on Babe," AA said, standing up

"Wait, let me go with you,"

"Are you sure you can go?" AA asked because of how she's walking

"Don't worry, I can manage," and they both ambled out to Marmie's part

Marmie was sitting in the parlour watching film when they entered , and she looked at them before a genuine smile appeared on her face, which Tehzeeb was trying her possible best to walk very well."daughter, since in the morning I have not seen you," Marmie said, which Tehzeeb was about to squat and great her, but she quickly held her." Seat down, don't stress yourself," which Tehzeeb was praying for the ground to open so she could enter inside

"Babe, you didn't even acknowledge my presence." AA complained

"Oh please let me be, can't you see am talking to my daughter and don't call me babe again?" Marmie said, smiling at Tehzeeb, which AA coughed

"Since I am not welcome, let me start going back to where I am coming from."

"That will be good," Marmie answers, which AA sat down "daughter come let's go to my room," Marmie said, getting up

"Are you both leaving me here?" AA asked

"Before what did you expect. Stand up, my dear, let's go, " and Marmie helped Tehzeeb to stand up, who, in return, was too shy of her. They walked to her room before she entered inside her toilet and put the necessary things needed before she came out "daughter go in there and help your self, you need it. Don't be shy okay, take me as Umma" Marmie said "I will wait for you at the parlour, when you come out the things you need will be on my bed" thus Marmie walked out, she can't believe her dream will soon come to past. Immediately she reached parlour she saw AA still there "Son please be careful with daughter. Don't come and injure her, " Marmie said, which AA scratched his head because of what Marmie said he never thought he would be this shy of her till today. They talked for a while before Tehzeeb came out walking better than before. They spend their day with Marmie before going back to their part

Things were going perfectly between AA and Tehzeeb, but Tehzeeb was getting tired of seating at home day by day. She never thought it would be this difficult to be a housewife. Now she knows all those housewives are trying. AA comes back later in the day, very tired, but immediately he sets his foot in there part he forgets about how tired he was because of his wife. "Welcome back" Tehzeeb said getting up to help him with his briefcase which in return he draw her closer to him and inhale her scent which his in love with "God you need to bath and eat stop it" Tehzeeb said trying to get away from him

"Let wait like this for a little bit. I love the scent of your body, it's so intoxicating" AA said not leaving her and before she knows he picked her up and went straight to there room and drop her on the bed Tehzeeb seeing his getting out of hand speaks up

"Please stop it," she said

"Don't stop me, pleased. I need you, don't do this to me it's been weeks, and you're still telling me you have not healed. "

"Give me an extra week. The pain is still raw, " she said weakly. She wanted to let him, but she's scared

"Then let me just play with you, that's all."

"No. Get up so you will bathe and eat. It's getting late, " Tehzeeb said, trying to divert his attention. AA sighed and let her be before he walked into the toilet, bath before going to the dining table. He ate, and both of them were sitting in the parlour

"Come baby," AA said, which Tehzeeb shook her head no. "I promised not to do anything. I just want you to be close to me, " he said, which she went to seat beside him, but he quickly drew her to his lap

"You promised not to do anything," Tehzeeb pouted

"Just seat like this that all I asked for"

"Fine"

"So gist me,"

"Anything," AA said, playing with her hands

"I don't know what to talk about,"

"Okay, let's talk about us, about our lives, and about our sex life."

"Oh please, don't go there,"

"What? Is it a crime for a husband to talk about there sex life with his wife? No, it's not. It's even good for spouses to talk about there sex life to know where each of them is lacking. You know that's one of the major problem that bring issues in many matrimonial home, because they think it's not necessary for them to talk about it which is bad. We need to open up to one another to know our lapses. "

"I know, but not today,"

"Okay, fine. I have something to tell you, "AA said

"What's that?" Asked Tehzeeb

"Don't be too surprised,"

"Okay, I won't."

"Did you know I fell in love with you the first day I set my eyes on you, even though it was late at night that I saw you, but still yet I felt connected to you" AA said

"How is that even possible. I can recall the first day we met when I lost my father, " Tehzeeb said, recalling her father's death

"Hey hey, not now don't spoil the fun," AA said and pecked her on the neck, which she smiled

"Stop,have you forgotten. No touching. "Tehzeeb reminds him

"Okay, fine. But that was not the first day I met you. "

"If it's not the first day, then when was the first day?" Tehzeeb asked, looking at him

"Did you recall the day you were rushed to the hospital together with Gogo and her daughter?" He asked

"Yes, I could recall, the taxi driver didn't collect his money," Tehzeeb said, and like a striking lighting bulb, she gasp "you don't mean it, tell me it's a lie"

"Yes, I was the one who picked you up and brought you to the hospital," AA said, which Tehzeeb mouth was hang open, looking at him in disbelief
