Contest Winners
There's no "winner" for the oneshot contest because they all had differing endings and I liked each one for different reasons. They're not listed in any particular order either.
So thank you to everyone who entered! These oneshots are great :)

Two teens lay on the couch, one held in the other's arms in a cuddling position, while the other's head rested on his shoulder. The television clicked on, the red dot flashing a few times before disappearing, the bzzt from the TV rang out in the quiet house, flashing to static for a few moments, before Tyler switched the channel to Disney+.
Josh's arms were wrapped around Tyler's lower half protectively, even though technically, the vampire couldn't die. Tyler thought it was adorable, and relished this moment.
The way the light bounces off of the boy's cheeks and glimmered in his eyes, his beautiful perfect smile and the faint blush that shone on his face. If Tyler could paint, he would paint this exact scene, and not give it up for anything.
"What're you staring at?" Josh mumbled drowsily, after just awakening from a nap. The vampire smiled softly, his fangs retracted and his crooked teeth showing ever so slightly.
"The most beautiful boy in the whole wide world," Tyler murmured, leaning down to press a kiss to Josh's forehead. Josh let out a laugh, and Tyler thought it was the most heavenly noise he could ever hear, and he wanted to hear more. This is why he was such a flirt.
"Tyler Joseph, you are going to be the end of me." Josh commented, his gaze flicking back to the television as his position changed ever so slightly. He was still tightly pressed to Tyler, not wanting to agitate the vampire teen.
The mentioned just shook his head and let out a small chuckle, and he tapped his way to the new show that he had heard a lot about; The Mandalorian. Josh had insisted on watching this show multiple times over, and Tyler just had to give in. He would give the boy the world, and he could not deny him anything, but Tyler would never tell him that.
He was pretty sure that Josh already knew that, though.
Before Josh had taken a nap, he had decided that he would not become a vampire. Whether it was his fears or anxieties, or because he didn't want to live forever, Tyler didn't know. Immortality was a gift and a curse. Living forever was wonderful, but not when you have to outlive your loved ones.
Sometimes, Tyler prays that Josh will change his mind. He doesn't know what he'll do if he has to outlive Josh.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he decided to focus on the present. Right now, his beautiful boyfriend was being the most adorable little creature in the universe, and that's saying something, considering how adorable Baby Yoda is.
"Look, Tyler! I told you how cute he is!" Josh cried as he pointed at the small creature on the TV, wrenching his hand from underneath the blankets, before burrowing his arm back in to the warmth.
"He must be protected," Tyler agrees. "I don't have a good feeling about that Mando guy. He better keep that little guy close."
Josh suddenly looks up at Tyler with puppy eyes, and Tyler almost instantly comes back to life and dies again from just that stare.
Tyler leaned down and placed a kiss on Josh's lips, Josh instantly kissing back. Even Tyler's fangs didn't come out, and the boy felt like he had a lot more control over his powers now.
Their kiss is quickly ruined by none other than Jenna Black entering the room, a completely mortified look on her face that both Tyler and Josh noticed when they pulled away. Tyler paused the TV, and a bad feeling rested in his gut. Not a lot could shock Jenna, and if any news had affected her this bad, then there was a big problem.
"What's going on?" Tyler asked, gesturing for Jenna to come sit down. The girl moved to the seat silently, and the boys could practically hear the gears grinding in her head.
"Talk to me, Jenna," The vampire boy urged, and that seemed to snap Jenna out of her daze.
"Have you read the news?" Jenna mumbled, making direct eye contact with Josh, and Josh shied away from the gaze. It was too intense for him, and he moved his arms so he could hold Tyler's hand under the blanket.
"No.. what's going on?" Tyler squeezed Josh's hand to make sure he was safe. He saw Jenna's scared glance at Josh, and he knew this was bad.
"There's.. several murders, going around town.." Jenna started. "People are disappearing quickly. Haven't you seen all of the missing posters outside?"
Both of the boys shook their heads; it seems like they hadn't been paying a lot of attention to the outer world.
Josh had only picked up on how Tyler was holding him in a stronger and protective grip, and flashes of anger and fear moving through his eyes.
TW // PANIC ATTACK
Multiple scenarios flash through Josh's head, and he swallows thickly, the voices of Jenna and Tyler being deafened by his own thoughts. His breathing began to quicken and his eyes lost focus, darting around the room like a cornered animal. He was terrified; that was the news he didn't want to hear and didn't expect to hear.
What if the murderers knew about the vampires?
Did they know how to kill them?
Were Jenna and Tyler in danger?
Was he in danger?
His thoughts were overwhelmed by fear, and clearly, it seemed to show, seeing that Tyler was shouting at him, but the pounding of his heard and the blood rumbling in his ears, he couldn't hear them straight.
"-osh! Josh! It's going to be okay, I won't let them hurt you!" His boyfriend called, and suddenly, it seemed like everything was too much. Everything was overwhelming, and he curled up in to a protective ball around himself, bringing his knees to his chest and covering his ears.
He felt Jenna's hand rest on his shoulder, and he could faintly hear Tyler whispering sweet nothings in to his ear. Wetness dripped down the boy's cheek and he soon realized that he was crying.
However, he could feel Tyler wipe away the tears, hushing him and holding him, rocking him back and forth gently. Jenna was saying sweet and reassuring things as well, and slowly but surely, Josh lifted his hands from his ears. He didn't know how long it had been, maybe ten, fifteen minutes?
All he knew was that he was very tired at that moment, and he tried to explain it as well as he could with his eyes.
Luckily for him, Tyler already seemed to pick up that message.
"Okay, Jenna, I'm gonna take him to bed.." he whispered, gently lifting Josh off of the couch. He forgot about the vampire's super strength.
"Let's talk more after."
TW OVER : Tyler and Jenna successfully calmed Josh down
The taller boy tucked the other in to bed, placing a gentle kiss on his forehead, whispering "sweet dreams" in to his ear before letting the mocha-eyed boy doze off to bed.
When he finally was certain that Josh was asleep, he exited the room, realizing that it was probably creepy to watch his boyfriend sleep.
Whatever.
He had better things to do, anyways, he thinks as he walks down the stairs to find out what in God's name is happening.
NEXT MORNING
Josh wakes up tucked in to bed, the light blaring through his window as he squinted, murmuring a few things under his breath before forcing his tired body to get up. He really didn't want to go to school.
Reluctantly, the boy got changed out of his pajamas, wearing a white shirt and black jeans with rips in them. A warm smile crossed his face when he remembered the good parts about the previous night, cuddling with his vampire boyfriend on the couch. He ignored the bad thoughts about that night, and continued on with getting ready for school.
He did notice that the house wasn't as loud as usual, and he peered in to Jordan's room, finding it empty.
From the top of the stairs, he called down to his brother. "Jordan? Where are you?"
There was no response.
Shrugging, Josh went back to the bathroom to brush his teeth, comb and fix his hair, and then get ready for the day. He smiled at the mirror with his pearly whites, and then walked down the stairs to be greeted by his mother making breakfast.
"Hey, ma, have you seen Jordan?" He asked, sitting down at the table, a buttered bagel sitting in front of him.
"Nope," she answered, and a prick of worry entered his heart. "I think he just went to school early, though. He still has to speak to his chemistry teacher about that retest."
"Okay, thanks ma," The boy hummed in thought, digging in to his breakfast. For some reason, he was very hungry. He downed the bagel in record time, lifting his plate off of the table and placing it in the dishwasher. After, he put his books in his bag, and began the trek to school.
On his walk, he felt terrible, like a heavy weight of sadness was put on him. Deep down, he knew something happened, but he tried his best to suppress that feeling.
Jenna was right about the missing posters, there were so many up around town. Some were blown away in to the streets, others torn.
It gave him an unsettling feeling.
Maybe walking to school alone wasn't the best idea.
Josh entered school hastily, not wanting to spend another minute outside. When he was inside, he noticed that there weren't as many kids as usual. A chill crawled down his spine, and he was jumpy, his anxiety kicking in.
The boy had walked through the entire school in search of Tyler, but to no avail. A greater worry was placed on him. With each room he entered, he felt his fear build up. It was like a bucket in a storm, beginning with the little raindrops, before the rain began to build up and create a small puddle, which then grew in to a bigger puddle, and continuing until the water spilled over.
The mocha eyed boy almost stumbled in to a few kids in his haste to find Tyler, muttering his "sorry" under his breath and receiving glares of distrust. It was clear that they heard the news as well, and trust was something hard to obtain now.
People were turning on each other, paranoia tearing people apart. Nobody wanted to go missing.
He whipped out his phone, texting Tyler a few times, but receiving no response back after ten minutes. Tyler always texted back.
When he didn't respond, Josh called him, multiple times over, but was met with no response.
Tyler always picked up when he called.
On the verge of a second panic attack, an idea popped in his brain. When in doubt, call Jenna. That was and will always be his code.
The phone rang, once, twice, and Jenna's sweet voice picked up.
"Hello?" Her slightly distorted voice rang out from the phone.
"Tyler's not here! Jordan isn't here either, and neither is Rylee. I don't know what's going on Jenna, I'm really really scared. There's so many missing posters around, and I don't know what to do, and everyone is turning in eachother-"
"Woah, okay, calm down Josh, it's okay." Jenna soothed, and her voice was the only thing he needed to calm himself down. "I need you to take deep breaths for me, okay? It's going to be okay. How about we go look for them after school, okay?"
With a long pause and hesitation from Josh's end, he nodded, even though she couldn't see him. "Yeah. Yeah, okay." He breathed, and after a few more minutes of talking, he hung up.
Minutes felt like hours, and the periods went by so slowly.
A FEW DAYS LATER
Josh and Jenna had no luck in their search for Tyler, Jordan, and Rylee. It was like they had disappeared off the face of the Earth. Their parents had begun setting up missing posters. Josh's mom and dad were worried sick, both running around, trying to find any leads.
The amount of kids missing was unsettling, and the police were having trouble starting investigations for all of them. Nobody knew who would do such a horrible thing, and it even one kid was found yet. It was clear that these criminals were trained in kidnapping, so trained that they could even kidnap three vampires.
It terrified him.
Josh's hope was depleting quickly, if the police couldn't find them, then him and Jenna probably wouldn't be able to find them.
He was broken from his thoughts by a phone call, and he lifted the phone from his pocket shakily, pressing the green button when he saw that it was Jenna. Josh was curled in the couch, covered in blankets and pillows.
"Josh."
"I found Jordan and Rylee." Jenna's voice was breaking up, and she sounded on the verge of tears. Maybe she was already crying, Josh was too nervous to pay attention.
"What happened? Are they okay?" Josh asked desperately, and that's when Jenna broke.
"They're dead, Josh! Oh my god, they were burned to death!" She wailed, and Josh swore he could hear the sound of his heart breaking in two.
"Tyler was right!"
Josh couldn't handle anymore, and he sobbed shaking underneath the covers. His mother and father were out doing something, so he was home alone. He was alone when he needed them the most. He hung up the phone and threw it across the room like it could hurt him, and he hid his face under the covers.
Josh screamed.
He cried all day, locking himself in his room and throwing things around, breaking things. He was torn, he was upset, he was grieving, he was angry. He was angry with himself.
That night, Josh cried himself to sleep.
NEXT DAY
After remembering the events of the night before, he had broken the news to his parents. They were completely shattered, and he could hear his mother wailing while his father tried to comfort her, but inside, Josh knew that he wanted to scream, much like he had before.
He had realized something. Jenna never said that Tyler had passed away, which meant that his.. body was not found, or that he was still alive. That was the only hope he was holding on to at this point. The only thing keeping him alive.
Tyler, Tyler, Tyler-
His boyfriend.
Tyler, Tyler, Tyler-
The one that he wants to marry.
Tyler, Tyler, Tyler-
He needs to find him.
He would do anything for him.
Their new lead was the abandoned barn at the edge of town by the river. Passerby's has mentioned that they heard screaming and crying that sounded suspiciously like a boy, but they couldn't be sure. No person wanted to come face-to-face with a possible rabid animal, so nobody had gone in to check. They assumed that it would eventually die from thirst or starvation, but after a week of yelling, it had become peculiar.
So as Josh and Jenna crept up to the barn, they could hear the rattling of the barn doors and muffled screams.
"Jesus.." Josh mumbled, and Jenna muttered a word of agreement that he couldn't quite pick up on. They both were carrying flashlights in the dead of night, and they had come at night time because it would be a stupid decision to trespass in the daylight.
The blades of grass tickled Josh's ankles as he moved quietly in a crouching form, moving to the lock. Citizens that lived near the barn had told them that it had a lock on the doors, so Jenna had brought a lock breaker. ("Jenna, why do you have a lock breaker?" "A vampire never reveals her secrets.")
After a few minutes, the lock snapped open, and the chain slithered out from the old and rusty metal handle.
"Ladies first," Jenna snickered, and Josh rolled his eyes, placing his hand on the handle and opening the door. It creaked open with more than a little bit of effort, and they both flicked on their flashlights.
Dust particles floated in the air, and the barn smelled terrible. Jenna wrinkled her nose in distaste.
"Who died in here?" Josh mumbled, before receiving a dry glance from Jenna. What he said was unintentionally offensive, and it actually was a very valid question.
"Haha, very funny. You should be a comedian," the vampire said dryly, before continuing the search.
Josh turned around when he heard rustling by the hay stacks, and he went to go investigate. Jenna followed close behind, not letting Josh out of his sight.
"Hello?" He called cautiously, approaching the stacks.
Two red glowing eyes peeked out from the dark, the creature's slender form standing up.
Swallowing his fear, he shone a light at the creature, and was met with the face of..
His boyfriend.
Tyler.
Alive.
"Tyler!" Josh's flashlight clattered to the floor, and he attempted to launch himself towards the boy and trap him in a bear hug, but was stopped by Jenna.
"Josh! Don't get near him! He was supposed to feed a couple of days ago!" Jenna exclaimed, pushing Josh behind her roughly.
When the mocha eyed boy looked closer, he noticed that his fangs were out, the pointy teeth bared and his red, glowing eyes shining with a predatory gaze.
"Tyler.." he whispered, and the happiness in his eyes was replaced by fear.
In a split second, Tyler lunged towards Josh, his mouth open with the intention to kill and feed on his blood.
Luckily, Jenna's reaction time was on point, and he slammed in to Tyler, knocking him back a few steps.
"Tyler! Snap out of it!" She screamed, but the boy parried to the side to avoid her fist with the intention to knock him out, and he landed a kick to her stomach. When she was taken off-guard, he pushed her back, her head slamming hard against the wooden floor of the barn.
Jenna was incapacitated.
Just Josh and Tyler.
The mocha-eyed boy tried to flee, calling out for help, but was pulled in by the one he loves. The hold felt almost reassuring, but he knew it was anything but that.
The teeth pierced the flesh in his neck, and Josh struggled, trying to break free while he still could, but he began to weaken from blood loss. His grip loosened, and he was at Tyler's mercy. His eyes fluttered shut and and flickered open, he tuned in at the last moment when he was pushed forward.
A sharp piece of wood that was sticking out stabbed him in the stomach, and ripples of pain ran through his body. His breathing became hoarse, and he only just registered Tyler's eyes turning back to their normal colour.
"Josh?" He whispered, before tears instantly pricked his eyes. "JOSH!" He cried, lunging forward and holding the mentioned's head, turning him so he was facing the roof of the barn.
"Josh, I'm so sorry, I'm so, so sorry!" He sobbed, cradling him to his chest.
"I-I'll get you help. We'll-we'll watch some more s-shows on the couch when we get home, everything will be okay.." Tyler was about to run to find help, but he was stopped by Josh's hand grasping his. His boyfriend shook his head weakly.
"N-No-not.." he drifted off for a few seconds. "Not your.. fault.." He cracked a smile through the pain, blood dribbling out from his mouth.
"I-I lo-love you.. s-so mu-uch." Josh whispered. "I-I'll te-tell.. Jordan and.. Rylee th-that you said.. hi.."
Tyler cried harder.
"T-Toge..Together.." Josh coughed. "For-..Forever."
With that, Josh drifted off. His eyes were glassy.
Tyler realized the reality of this situation. Josh was gone. He would never be able to graduate high school, he would never be able to become the person he wanted to be, he would never be able to sit with Tyler late at night and watch movies, cuddling on the couch.
Tyler would never be able to propose to him.

ONE MONTH AFTER GETTING CHANGED
josh sat at the kitchen table, staring at the rising steam from his cup of herbal tea. he sighed quietly, stirring the sugar around to make sure it was fully dissolved in the steaming water. tyler walked downstairs, smiling at the sight of josh. being changed was the best thing that had happened to josh, or so it seemed that way so far. tyler felt this overwhelming feeling of happiness when he was with josh. and josh felt the same.
josh was drifting off into space, staring out of the window while still stirring his tea. he watched the rain fall down heavily, dark clouds rolling into the morning sky. even though his senses were heightened, he didn't notice tyler standing right behind him. tyler wrapped his arms around josh's neck and yelled "rise and shine!" josh jumped up, spilling his tea all over the table during the process. "shit, tyler!" josh exclaimed. "you scared me! ugh! and made me spill my tea!" tyler just chuckled, grabbing some paper towels to clean up the mess. josh jokingly bared his fangs at tyler and he repeated the action back, making both boys giggle with happiness. josh gave tyler a quick kiss on the cheek and they continued to giggle.
later that day, the boys found themselves at a table with jenna, jordan, and rylee discussing their future plans. luckily, josh's parents were on a business trip, so there were no interruptions or having to be suspiciously secretive. the plan was that they would all live together in a house- assuming most of them would have jobs- and chip in with bills and food (if they wanted human food). it would make it easier to hunt and live peacefully among the living. tyler, josh, and jenna would be graduating soon, but rylee and jordan would still have to finish off high school before moving into the group house, but no matter how much time they had to wait, everyone was very excited to start a new life.
a few jokes were cracked at this "gathering", especially towards josh and tyler. It consisted of, "i swear on my life, if i walk in on y'all doing the diddly-doo, i am moving out." (that one obviously being from jordan) and josh snapped back jokingly saying, "at least i can be quiet, unlike-!" tyler slapped his hand over josh's mouth and the whole group broke out in laughter. in that moment, everything felt so surreal. josh didn't think he would be this happy, practically living the dream. being a vampire and having the perfect boyfriend, plus a lot of other good things. school was going smoothly and surprisingly josh was able to keep his hunger under control. both tyler and jenna were very impressed with him. josh didn't want to necessarily feed off of humans so he went with an animal diet which seemed to be working very well for the time being. he didn't enjoy feeding off of a human but it was better than he imagined. every thing was going well, almost too well.
~
ONE WEEK LATER
josh and jordan both reluctantly sat down at the dinner table staring hesitantly at the box of pizza in the middle of the table. josh was the first to reach for a piece, having to eat the greasy delight that his human stomach once enjoyed. since he was changed, his appetite for human food changed quite a bit and he suddenly hated pizza. josh felt an overwhelming feeling of disgust overpower him as he took a bite of the pizza tasting the greasiness of the pepperoni, undercooked cheese, soggy bread, and bitter tomato sauce explode on his tastebuds. it was so overwhelming for him to handle for some reason. jordan sent a worried glance over to josh and he sent one back. their parents seemed to be oblivious to what was going on in that moment and both boys were so grateful for that.
"how's school going for you two?" laura questioned them. "good!" jordan said with a mouth full of pizza, trying to help josh out. josh didn't know why he was freaking out over a piece of pizza- a freaking piece of pizza! his whole body felt like it was twitching and his vision began to blur. josh felt a harsh kick from under the table- jordan singnaling for josh to leave and call tyler. "i need to use the bathroom." josh muttered, practically flying out of his seat.
he ran to the bathroom upstairs and called tyler. tyler picked up and said "hey babe! is everything alright?" josh replied in a panicked voice "i-i don't know. i'm literally freaking out over a fucking piece of pizza and my whole body feels like it's gonna explode and i can't stop shaking and-" tyler cut him off replying, "josh. you need to feed off of another human. you must still be hungry and clearly the animal blood isn't working out." josh knew he couldn't argue with tyler- he needed to do this. "o-okay." he replied with a shaky breath. "i'll be over in a second. love you." tyler said. he felt too weak to even reply. josh shakily pressed the decline button and waited for tyler to knock on his window.
3 minutes of josh staring at the window, shaking. 3 minutes of non-stop thinking. josh felt his vision go blurry again, but this time when his vision came back, tyler was at the window, raising his hand to knock. josh rushed over to the window, opening it. tyler climbed in with a small bag. "it's okay josh. everything is okay." tyler said softly, bringing josh into a big hug, rubbing his back softly. he pulled out a blood bag for josh and he took it gratefully, extracting his fangs and puncturing the plastic, drinking the blood. in that moment, josh didn't realize his phone was buzzing like crazy on the counter.

josh had finished off the first bag of blood. he was so hungry and didn't care that he was drinking human blood. tyler pulled out another bag and handed it to josh and he took his time with the second one, knowing it was probably all tyler had.
just then, the door flew open. josh had blood dripping down the corner of his lip with a plastic bag practically in his mouth, and tyler was sitting on the rim of the bathtub, watching josh. their eyes both flew over to the door immediately and the two froze in absolute fear. bill dun stood there, a look of confusion overcoming his face. "i-i'm going to step out and let you finish whatever the fuck you're doing. then, you and tyler are going to come downstairs and tell us what is going on, got it?" he said calmly, a sickeningly pale shade overcoming his face. "dad, i-it's not what it looks like!" josh stuttered. bill didn't even reply, clearly in shock. he just walked away silently.
josh picked up his phone and saw the texts.

"tyler, please call jenna." josh asked, shaking. "got it." tyler replied, scared for josh.
~
josh didn't expect himself to be sitting at a table with jordan, tyler, jenna, his mom, and his dad, trying time explain everything.
"vampires?" laura said in shock. "vampires?" bill just sat there silently, staring at everyone.
it took over an hour of explaining, but both of them seemed okay with it. all they asked is that they tried not to feed (on humans) in their household. but surprisingly, everything went better than expected. the secret was out, but at least they didn't have to sneak around as much. it would take some getting used to, but everyone was adjusting.

arched back, curled toes, eyes rolling to the back of his head. josh has a burning sensation in every part of his body. flames is how he would describe the feeling. burning the boys pale, freckled skin to a crisp. josh is hit with a wave of nausea. the mentioned leans over on his bed side and empties his already empty stomach into a bucket on the floor next to the bed. jenna sitting at the foot of josh's bed, gives him a sympathetic look glancing at tyler who's chewing on his nails anxiously waiting for this torture to end for his and josh's sake. tyler can't stand looking at his boy in so much pain. the brown eyed boy just wants and waits for it all to end so the two boys can go on with their lives. where they can live... forever. forever and happy; together. regret and guilt builds up in the boys stomach and heart as he watches his love hurl and dry-heave into the bucket.
"tyler," jenna gestures towards josh who gets under the covers again; shivering, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. the blonde doesn't have to say anything else as the burnet stands up and inches towards joshs side of the bed. tyler is crouched next to his boyfriend with a sorrowful look on his face. heart full of regret, sorrow, and love towards his boy. tyler doesn't say anything as he stares at josh. concern covering his face like no tomorrow. his hand softly covering the mentioned. josh's hand is sweaty and rough. unusual from his soft, loving touch.
tyler grips josh's hand in his and brings it to his lips to place a soft kiss on it. josh melts in his boyfriends touch holding tylers hand tighter. josh's coffee eyes soften as his boyfriend leans up from his position and places a loving kiss upon josh's lips. still holding tylers hand, his grip tightens as a sharp pain shoots through the freckled boy. clenching his boyfriends hand like his life depended on it; his back arches once again and he groans in pain. josh bits his lower lip, refraining from making anymore noise. he ends up drawing a crimson red from his raw, bitten lip. his brows furrow in anger, sadness, and pain. josh roughly draws his hand back from tylers. josh shoots up from the bed, locks of hair sticking to the pale boys forehead. his eyes darting from jenna to his shaking hands. his eyes show clear panic and distress as the boy shakes from the venom coursing through his veins. attacking his body from head to toe, the venom changes the boys mood and body temperature again.
josh rips the four fluffy, thick covers off his venom filled body. staring at jenna for help, she reaches her hand out to him. cautiously, jenna moves closer to the pained boy. placing her hand on his forearm, she softly glides her thumb in a soothing manner. sighing as the scorching pain left the boys body he layered the 4 blankets back on his now cold body. josh leans against the headboard of his bed and breathes in a shaky breath. heavily through his nose out through his mouth. tyler sitting on the ground watching everything unfold in front of him sighs as well and stands up to his feet again. he sits besides jenna, resting his head against her shoulder.
the two teens relax in each others touch, despite past events. tyler slowly rises off of jenna's shoulder. he looks over his own shoulder at his boy whose trying to pry his eyes open. tyler sighs out his nose and turns the rest of his body. he crawls his way up joshs bed so he's sitting next to josh. the mentioned slowly and painfully turns his head so he's facing his boyfriend. josh let's his eyes slip closed. a single tear escapes josh's eye as he reopens his now watery ones. tyler turns on his side as he sees jenna leave the room. she glances behind her as tyler mouths a quick thank you before she leaves the room with a small smile on her face. tyler turns his attention towards his boy and lifts his left hand up towards his face. stroking his thumb over josh's profound cheek bone, josh leans in to connect their lips for a passionate kiss. nothing about it was sexual but pure love radiating off the two boys. josh pulls back first, leaving their foreheads touching. staring into each others eyes, tyler links their hands together.
"everything will be okay, baby boy. things might feel like shit. trust me, been there done that. the same exact thing happened to me," tyler pauses and breathes in shakily, "b-because of jenna." tyler says the last part quietly as his boyfriend squeezes his hand with reassurance and pain.
"thank you, ty." josh grunts as his brows are furrowed and his teeth grind together.
josh breathes in as he yet again retracts his hand from tylers. arching his back off the bed; ripping the bed sheets off.
he lets out a roar of pain.
josh let's his waterworks break free from being held back. he wants to make tyler happy. he wants to show tyler he can be strong.
but the freckled boy simply cannot.
jenna, jordan, and rylee rush in to see what was going on with the pained boy. josh rips his eyes open. they're blood red. he looks around the room in a panic. "joshie, honey calm down." tyler tries to sooth.
josh simply doesn't cooperate with his now scared boyfriend. the angered boy aggressively removes the blankets off his body. he's sweating and angry. he rips himself from the comfort of his bed and breathes heavily. his teeth sharpened, senses heightened, skin burning. josh's blood red eyes peered into tylers panicked, chocolate brown ones. tyler scrambles off the bed in a hurry to go protect jenna, jordan, and rylee. when he gets to their sides they have their teeth out ready to fight. tyler holds back tears as his boyfriend sneers at the four teens. josh's eye teeth sharp and very visible to the human eye. he slowly runs his tongue over the sharpened teeth and smirks towards the floor. his eyes meet with everyone's; jenna, jordan, and rylee's. josh's blood red eyes stop at tylers. he holds his stare on his boyfriend.
josh leaps over his bed in a blink of the eye and grabs tyler by his throat. slamming him to the nearest wall, tyler gasps for air. he doesn't want to hurt his boyfriend and he hopes his boyfriend doesn't want to hurt him.
"IM GONNA FUCKING RIP YOUR HEART OUT-"
josh seethes in the burnets face. tyler grasps josh's wrists in hopes of getting his grip to loosen. tyler feels like this is all going in slow motion before someone steps up. jenna is the first to make a move. since she is most likely stronger then josh (with being a vampire), she takes ahold of his arm ripping it from tylers neck. tyler slides to the floor gasping for air since josh's grip on his neck was so tight. josh is fighting for his arm back when jenna finally gives up. tyler stares up at the two; teary eyed because of what his boyfriend had said to him. tyler then noticed something. something not good. not good at all.
josh is stronger then jenna.
tyler stands up and gains confidence after seeing what josh is doing and what he had said to him prior.
"JOSHUA!!," tyler seethes, "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?" tyler backs josh up onto josh's parents bedroom closed door. "ARE YOU TRYING TO HURT RYLEE? HURT YOUR BROTHER? HURT JENNA??," tyler pauses and looks up sadly, "a-are you trying to h-hurt me...?" he sadly asks. "if you wanna fucking rip my heart out; do it." tyler challenges.
josh sinks down on the ground and closes his eyes tight. he brings his hands up to his ears and covers them, shaking in the process. josh brings his knees to his chest and stays like that. tyler calms down and looks at his boyfriend, worriedly. the burnet looks at the crystal eyed blonde and frowns. rylee and jordan step in the other duns room for privacy for the three older teens. tyler walks over to jenna first placing a firm hand on her shoulder.
"y-you okay, jen? i'm sorry, fuck... i'm so sorry jen." tyler whispers as his water works flow.
"ty, we'll talk about this later. just help josh." she whispers back wiping tylers tears.
"jen, you're hurt! i'm-" tyler whisper-shouts. "i'm not hurt ty. don't worry, hun. i'm gonna wait in jordan's room." jenna kisses tylers forehead before knocking and entering the younger duns bedroom.
"baby... you there? i-it's tyler... your boyfriend." tyler crouches in front of josh.
josh stops his shaking and removes his hands from his ears. josh slowly opens his eyes revealing his signature coffee brown eyes tyler fell in love with.
"t-ty..." josh breathes out.
tyler opens his arms for josh to go into. josh untucks his knees from his chest and pounces on tyler. tyler whispers sweet nothing into the crying boys ear. tyler and josh both stand up slowly, because of josh still being weak. tyler leads the smaller through his door back to josh's bed where they both can lay down. tyler lays down first while josh climbs into his lap still crying.
"i-i'm s-so sorry, tyler. i-i dont k-know what happened o-or what came o-over me. i-i dont w-wanna r-rip your heart out. i never wanna let you g-go tyler." josh sobs and emphasizes the word 'never'.
"it's okay, baby boy. it's okay. it's over now. you can still recover and calm down from the so called fight." tyler rubs soothing circles into his boyfriends hips as the crying boy lays on top of him.
"i-i'm still sorry, ty-ty." josh whimpers. tyler smiles at the nickname.
"it's okay, my darling. it's okay." tyler soothes the crying boy.
