"Hey Sophie"

Keefe

"Hey Keefe. Wait- no 'hey Foster'?"

"Nah. Just not feeling it today. What class are you headed to?"

Sophie raised an eyebrow. "Ummm..........study hall. We all have study hall"

"Oh right. Sorry. Probably just forgot."

"Keefe. You have a photographic memory. Anyways. Come on. We'll be late"

"Wait. Let's just ditch"

"Fine. Your lucky Sandor doesn't have to come to school with me anymore"

They walked to the healing center, which was Keefe's idea,  and they sat at the bench outside of the room hoping Elwin wouldn't see them. 

"So....there was something I wanted to ask you"

He looked nervous. It was weird to see him like this. His confident facade was just.......gone.

"Okay. Go on"

"well. umm....I was just, uh, wondering if you, uh, would be my girlfriend"

Sophie was in shock. The coolest guy in school just asked her to be his girlfriend. She smiled.

"Yes. I would love to. We should get back to class. We'll just tell them we were with Elwin"

"Okay. After this"

Keefe leaned in closer. Sophie's heart was beating so loud, she could hear in in her ears. She was sure Keefe could hear it too. They were so close now, Sophie could see his eyes so clearly. Then the space between them disappeared. Keefe gingerly placed his lips on hers. Sophie sank into it, never wanting it to end. Then, all too soon, He pulled away. 

"Come on. We should go"

They both got up and started walking to study hall. When they got there they saw their friends at a table. They all looked worried. Sophie and Keefe walked over and they looked relieved. 

"where were you guys?" Biana asked

"At the healing center" Sophie answered

"What did you guys do this time?" Dex asked

"I was zapped in elementalism again" Keefe said

"Elwin wanted to check me over again. I swear he's way too paranoid" Sophie said

Keefe and Sophie shared a look. I can be a convincing liar when I want to Sophie transmitted to him. He smirked. Everyone just went back to their work. Sophie and Keefe passed notes for the rest of the class.
