Explainations
I'm Agent Macks, I need both of you, right now." He says. We walk out of the pizza place leaving a bill of money, hoping it's enough. We climb into her truck, and she drives us to god knows where. She stops at a large wear house, "This is your safe house." I'm confused. "What do we need a safe house for?" Elliot asks, taking the words right out of my mouth.
"I figured that Savannah would want to talk with her native accent and I figured you two would want some alone time. Julian can visit you here too." She explains. I nod, "Thank you." The woman unlocks the door, "Your cars will be dropped off here. Elliot, press the red button and a nanny will be called to take care of your niece." He nods, "For how long?" She points to the button, "Until you come home and tell her to leave or until you press the button to reset the time." He nods, "Thank you." She nods and leaves the house. I smile at him, "Alone time..." He laughs, "Finally." I grab his arm and pull him over to the couch.
I kiss him, "Please?" He touches my bare leg, "If you want to." I giggle and pull him to me. I wiggle off his shirt, exposing his prominent abs. As I'm running my finger across them, he takes my shirt off. His hands are gentle. I unbutton his pants, so ready for this moment. We finish stripping down to our undergarments and just stare at one another. His body so perfect, making me want more. He removes my bra and touches my chest. His hands send chills down my body, and the good kind. "You ready?" He asks. I glare at him, "Would I be sitting here in my underwear if I wasn't ready?" He laughs, "I suppose not." I pull off his boxers and he finishes undressing me, "I love you." His touch is perfect, so calm. He was good at it too, my body felt like heaven. I'm not sure how he managed it, but it was amazing.
I awake to sunlight, Elliot lays next to me. We're tangled up on the couch, still naked from the night previous. He wakes up after feeling my shift in position. He looks at me, "I didn't wear..." I nod, "I know, I figured it out a minute ago." He sits up, "What's going to happen, if..." I don't let him finish, "We'll worry about it then. Right now, we should shower." He nods and grabs his boxers, I just wrap my self up in the throw blanket. We walk to the bathroom. "What if you are pregnant?" He says. My heart just kind of drops from the word. "Then, we will talk about it." I say.
I looks at me, "Savvy, I need to tell you something." I raise an eyebrow, "What?" Please tell me he's not evil or something. Not after what we just did. "I lied." He says. I pull back, "About what?" He touches my shoulder, "Sav, That was my first time." I gasp, "Oh, oh my. Are you okay?" He kisses my forehead, "It was better than I expected." I smile at him, "Elliot, what were you waiting for?" He blushes a little, "My soulmate." I grin, "I didn't pressure you, did I?" He shakes his head, "I was ready. I think I know who my soulmate it." Awwwww. "Me right?" I say. "I hope I'm right." He says. "Wait, but Elliot, it's never felt that good before. Like ever, like I don't know what you did. Because you aren't even that big..." I say. He laughs, "I don't mean to be cheesy, but love? Is that it?" I kiss him, "I hope so."
I shampoo my hair, thinking about what happened. His gorgeous body, his soft touch, his very real worries. But, what would we do? He's a great dad figure to Ava and has experience I guess, but that doesn't make me a great mom. Me, a mother? I'm only sixteen I could be on that show, and yet I'm more successful than they'll ever be. Perhaps, they would be too, if they didn't make their mistake. Hopefully, I'm not making the mistake. I don't get my period, ever so I won't know. We'll just have to get a test or something.
I put on a pair of shorts and a tee shirt. Second day of teaching, here I come. Elliot and I drive to the building and prepare today's lesson. A couple students wander in, as I'm upside down in a handstand. I roll down, and watch the rest of the students come in.
"Welcome back. Glad to see none of you gave up, you've know each other for less than a day. Let's see how those first impressions turned out. I need you all to vote on the top five most trustworthy in this class. You have three votes, you may not vote for yourself, and the five with the most votes will be a part of a special group, with me. All of your names are on this chalkboard, put your heads down and raise your hand when I call the person you'd like to vote for." The students drop their heads, I call out the first name. No hands. After every name, we have four clear winners. Two people tied.
"Heads up!" I project. They pop up at stare at the board.
Maeve Flints - 9 Votes
Casey Kline - 6 Votes
Taylor Rawl - 5 Votes
Ali Cates - 4 Votes
Marie Stiles - 3 Votes
Meryn Fisher - 3 Votes
"Maeve, Casey, Taylor, Ali. Congrats! Marie and Meryn, we'll have a revote. Heads down everyone, either Marie or Meryn. One vote. Go." Meryn won by a lot. Almost 20 votes difference.
I have my five follow me into a separate room. "I'm going to tell you a secret. You better keep it. Okay?" I say, if they told someone it wouldn't be the end of the world. Not even close, but they don't need to know that. "I'm British." I say. They just kind of look at each other. "You know, you can talk. I don't bite." I say, in my British voice. Maeve looks at me, "Wait, the American accent is fake?" I nod, "Yes." They just stare at me, it's odd.
Soon, enough there's a knock on my door, it's time for lunch. They leave the room and Elliot walks in. He locks the door. "What are you doing?" I say. He pulls something out of his pocket, it's a piece of paper. I grab it from him. It's a letter,
.-. -- ...- ...- .-- --.. -- ..-. -.- .-- --.. --. ...- ..- .. .-.. -. -... .-.. ..-. .-.-.- -..- --.. --- --- --.. --. ...- -.-. --.. -..- --. --- -... .... .-. -.-. .-.. * -..- --- .-.. -..- .--. --..-- .-- .-.. -- * --. - ...- --. -..- --.. ..-. - ... --. .-.-.- -..- .-.. --- --- ...- -..- --. --.. --- --- --. ... ...- .-. -- ..- .-.. .. -. --.. --. .-. .-.. -- -... .-.. ..-. * . ...- - .-.. --. .-.. -- --. ... ...- --. --.. .. - ...- --. .-.-.- .-. -- ...- ...- .-- .-. --. --. .-.. .-- --.. -... .-.-.- --. ... --.. -- .--. .... --..-- -... .-.. ..-. .--. -- .-.. -.. -.. ... .-.. .-.-.-
"It's in Morse Code." I say. Elliot looks at me, "Obviously. Guess who's bag it fell out of." I shrug, "I don't know Elliot." He bites his lip, "Maeve." I laugh a little, "Yes, the best secret keeper, is probably a spy." He nods, "It makes perfect sense." I grab the note, "But, they wouldn't be stupid enough to put it in Morse Code. It's too easy to crack." He shrugs, "There's only one way to find out. Do you know Morse Code?" I nod, "Yeah. Let's go."
It translated to absolute gibberish. It looked something like this:
R mvvw zm fkwzgv uiln blf. Xzoo zg vczxgob hrc l*xolxp, wlm*g tvg xzftsg. Xloovxg zoo gsv rmulinzgrlm blf*ev tlg lm gsv gzitvg. R mvvw rg glwzb. Gszmph, blf pmld dsl.
"What on earth does that mean?" Elliot asks me. "It's either in a different code or its double coded," I say. "What code could it be in?" He asks. "Just from experience, it looks like backwards code. Where A=Z and B=Y and so on." He nods, "And R is I, it makes sense. Let's try that." Sure enough, it translate to something that wasn't gibberish:
I need an update from you. Call at exactly six o*clock, don*t get caught. Collect all the information you*ve got on the target. I need it today. Thanks, you know who.
"Okay, is it real?" I say. He shrugs, "If it is, it's not an imminent threat, if the spy was stupid enough to let if drop, then they aren't a good spy. And if the government that created this made it that easy to crack, it won't be a problem," He says. I nod, "That's what I was thinking, but I doubt it's real." The students will be back from lunch, so I stand up and walk back into the gym. Elliot follows shortly.
They walk in, full of chatter. I smile, "Now, we'll be working on shooting." They look mildly worried. The door busts open, "We need Ms. Savannah to come with us." I look over to Elliot, he shrugs. I walk towards them, carefully. Two of them come at me, but I dodge. "What the hell?" I say and pull the gun from my holster. "Who are you and what do you want from me?" I say. One of the men steps forward, "The President has summoned you. We're secret service." I raise an eyebrow, "Badges?" They flash them, so put my gun back. Two of the men grab my wrists, but I pull away, "I can walk myself."
