I can't fall down again

You won't see that side of me anymore,
I'm shutting the windows and gates to my heart,
I can no longer accept anything that's considered affection.
I'm taking all the keys,
I ever gave out.
I'm being careful now.
So I don't go numb.
I can't afford to lose the progression I've made.
I can't fall down again.

I just can't.
I'm not ready to make that sacrifice yet.
