A few months ago I really wanted to sleep over at Mal's but my dad wouldn't let me since her parents weren't gonna be home and I kept asking why and after bugging him for a long time, he finally went, "I let my guard down once. I'm not gonna do it again."

And that got me thinking, like, something serious must've happened, right?? That would explain why he's so protective now... I asked him about it and he told me how there was a lot we didn't know about him, that he had secrets, and I asked if he could tell us them because come on, we're his family and he said he'd tell us when we're older =3=

But I can't help but think that something serious happened... Why else couldn't he just tell us now? And now I keep thinking of different scenarios on what could've happened, like, what if either Hannah or I were almost kidnapped when we were younger or maybe we actually have a sibling or something or I dunno TwT That would explain the "I let my guard down once"

He told us one secret though, but we have to wait until we're older to hear the rest =3=

I'm not sure if I should be saying this but the secret was that my dad has never met his real mom. My grandmother isn't my dad's actual mom, and he didn't tell us because he didn't want it to accidentally slip from either me or Hannah since we were really young when we were back in America ^^

Also, I told my mom about this (she already knew), and she told me a story. She was gonna take me to daycare (so I was really young XD) and I was sitting in the car with her, and as she pulled out of the driveway, I waved at our house and said "bye Debbie!"

Debbie was the name of my dad's actual mom.....

I never knew about her until a few months ago...
