Todoroki Toya, operating as the Pro Hero called Blue, learns from his mother that his father is dying, and that he should bring his fiance to meet the family, so the chance to reconcile doesn't vanish on him. Already planning on heading back to Japan for other reasons, Toya asks his best friend, Pro Hero and music partner to pretend to be his fiance, still stuck on the idea that being friends with Karina is the safest route, that pretending won't be at all messy.Number 24, "Staying as friends feels safe, but that doesn't mean it's the path you're meant to take." This story also fulfills the monthly Froday prompt for February wich involves using a romance movie/series summary released in a year ending in "1" as inspiration for a story, with the movie I picked being the 2021 movie Make-Believers, "Masa hires a rental actress and aspiring dancer Kanako, to pose as his fiance to impress his estranged, ailing father. But as his father's death delays, Masa has to navigate the spiraling web of lies and learn to follow his heart."…
