With Kylo Ren's darkness encasing her like a safeguard -a dark swirling mass of power with the density of deep space- Rey's bright gold Force-essence exploded to life with the radiant illumination of solar flares and stars.Luke's face shot back to his groaning nephew. Kylo's Force aura had visibly changed too. He was still enveloped by thick blanketing shadows, but they seemed well under his control now. They ebbed and wove around him, moving with him, rather than against him.Luke blinked in disbelief but It was unmistakable; Within Kylo Ren's dark aura of swirling shadows were sparks and flakes of Rey's golden light and together they spiraled as one thriving solar system of both the light and dark. Rey recovered first and she half dragged herself to Ren. Unsure of what would happen next, Luke stood stead fast in his curiosity as the girl stumbled to her knees before his nephew who was still cradling his head between his forearms, his screams only just dying down to muffled whimpers. She reached out towards the Dark sider, her hand hesitating nervously within the space between them. -Her fingers twitching, her lungs tight, and then, she shakily placed it on his trembling arm. Instantly he stilled under her touch, his body calming in response to her contact.The Force between where skin met skin, visibly glowed. It wasn't just darkness. Nor just light. It was something new. Something born between the two. First I was the joker. Then I was the Joker and his Harley Quinn, King n' Queen of Gotham. The Clown Prince n' his lil monster, but when Harls decided that she likes her new role as one of the so called "good guys" better then a life of luxury and crime, Mr. J, is back to being on my own. Now I'm just... bored. And trust me when I say there's nothing more MURDEROUS then a bored clown! "So what am I to do you ask? How am I to turn my frown upside down? How do you top a King and a Queen, Mr. J? Not just any ol' girl will do."My fingers flutter through a pile of papers and folders only to stop at a transfer sheet that's obnoxiously poking out of the stack of files. It simply reads; Belle Reve. The same location of the former queen of hearts I was just thinking about. I slide the folder out and a long thin smile pulls at my lips. My hand smooths across the crimson letters of the most intriguing name printed in bold ink on the red grade, high level security clearance Arkham Asylum folder. My fingers tap each letter like the strike of a key on a typewriter. I can almost hear the mechanical clicking in my head. A wide grin stretches across my face as I type away at the last few letters. I'll tell ya how ta top a King n' Queen; Click... ping! My index finger stops on the last letter of the name as though I've run out of platen and my hand moves just past the left side of the folder to reset the imaginary release with a slam! I smirk at the panoramic image of the full name of the next card I intend to add to my hand, the last card I need to complete a full deck.I throw the file open to the head page. My finger toys with the paper clip at the top. The one securing the picture of the most valuable card in the deck, the one I'd hidden up my sleeve so long ago that I'd nearly forgotten all about it just so I could play the game with a straight face.
