Y/N P.O.V

You bit into your burger, savoring the delicious taste of it. You, Kirito, and your friends had decided to have a fun night and head out to the towns famous burger restaurant, Burger city. As you leaned your head against Kirito's chest, he smiled down at you.
"So what are the plans for this weekend?" Julie asked, setting down her burger and looking around at everyone. All of your friends started throwing around ideas for the weekend, but then Kirito stood up.
"Kirito...?" You said, confused at the the angry look on his face. "What we need to do this weekend is hunt down Asuna and his friends." Kirito explained. "They went missing from their overnight cells in the police station. The police ordered them found and brought back." As soon as Kirito said that, everyone nodded. "Kazuto... I'm worried that if I see Asuna again, that I might not be able to control myself and not... and not kill him." You said, your voice cracking. Kirito hugged you and whispered "I'll be there right by your side."

Timeskip to whole month later

Kirito's P.O.V

After a whole month of preparing, it was finally time to start searching for Asuna and his friends. I WILL protect Y/N I thought. He was my everything... My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. My mom poked her head in. "Kirito, your boyfriend is waiting at the door for you." My mom said. I picked up my camping bag, which I had stocked with supplies. Y/N had tracked one of Asuna's friends to the forest a couple weeks ago. "Kazuto!" Y/N exclaimed happily, tackling me in a hug. I looked around at our group of friends, all who had bags of supplies. "So... Its time. Is everyone ready?" I asked. Yuuki, who Y/N had recently introduced me to, nodded his head. "As ready as we'll ever be!" Yuuki said. Julie tilted her head, a look of concern flashing across her face. "Well... Unless you count the fact that we're all scared inside, then yeah, we are all ready." Julie said. Everyone else just nodded. As soon as we got to the edge of the forest, Y/N turned around to face everyone. "This is the last chance to turn back. So is anyone bailing on us?" Asked Y/N. No one did. And so, we plunged into the forest, into the unknown.
