Stay quiet, stay alert, don't get cornered, and stay alive.

All simple things but so many of us forget most of them, some are hard to do, just stay alive.

Rick, Daryl, Carl, Jake, and I started early in the morning after breakfast, Jake was leading us and I was in the back with Daryl, we made sure to take the tunnel that lead away from the city toward the mountain their camp was on.

"Hey thanks for the food and map." Daryl said breaking my thoughts

"Of course, I just wish I could do more." I said and smiled at him

"You could join us we could use more people like you." I blushed after he finished

"How did you get those bandages?" The little boy asked me, Rick cleared his throat and said Carl quietly.

"It's alright Rick, I fell and this is the aftermath." I said touching the side of my face, I didn't have on black today, a red flannel, blue jeans, braided hair, and black boots.

The boy nodded seeming satisfied with my answer, we reached the swear cap, Jake went up first then me, we had to take a couple of them out, and I saw first hand that Daryl was amazing with his crossbow, I smiled to myself and we started walking this time following Rick.

"Their back!!" An Asian guy said as they all started running to them, the woman hugged Rick and Carl, I was guessing his wife, a man with white hair greeted Daryl, I looked to my left and Jake was smiling I was, it was hard to find a solid group.

"We were able to make it out because of this woman, Rae, her brother Jake and her group." Daryl said

"Hi I'm Lori Rick's wife and Carl's mother, thank you so much." I nodded and took her offered hand.

"I'm Dale," The man who greeted Daryl told me shaking his hand the motioned behind him, "this is Andrea and her little sister Amy." I saw two blondes one was taller and one was smaller, "I'm Glenn," The Asian said after I was done shaking the girls hands, his hair was black and his eyes dark, "I'm Jim, this is Carol and her daughter Sophia." I man with a baseball cap on pointed to a woman with short grey hair who was holding a little girl with short brown hair she was clutching a doll.

"It's nice to met all of you, I'm glad to see we are not the only ones out here." I said looking at their camp, it was a nice set up, tents, a camper and woods.

"RAE! JAKE ! HELP!" My walkie talkie went off, it was Lily

"Rae here answer please Lily."

"Walkers....their...her..." The radio went down, no no my family I turned and started running, Jake soon followed I heard them say our names but I kept running, I didn't see Jake but he knew I would get to them, no matter what was in my way, alive or undead.
