"Are we almost ready to go yet?"

"You're lucky I can't get out of the car and smack you." Crystal jokes.

"There will be no smacking of siblings." Sabrina yells from inside the cabin.

"Want to bet?"

"Nor will there be any smacking of friends siblings either." Adam says as he walks past me, then smacks me.

"Hey! You literally just said no smacking!" I exclaim.

"But I never said we couldn't smack friends." He smirks.

"Technically, that's a friends sibling." Crystal points out.

"You basically just proved your point by going against it." Sabrina says.

"Anyways, we're done packing. Let's get back to Ohio!" Adam exclaims.

====== Time Skip ======

"Are we there yet?" Crystal asks for the hundredth time.

"No. We're still in Oklahoma." Adam says.

"What route are we taking?" Sabrina asks.

"A long one. You have a problem with that?"

"No, but my knee hurts!" Crystal complains.

"It'll take a couple of weeks to heal. Do you have your brace on?" I ask.

"Yeah, but it's been the same amount of pain for the last week." She groans.

"We'll get it checked out when we get home." Adam says.

"Why don't you two go to sleep?"

"I'm hungry!" Sabrina complains.

"We'll wake you up when we get food. Now go to sleep." Adam says. I look back at the girls. Crystal has her earbuds in and is already asleep. Sabrina is looking out the window with her earbuds in.

"How does Crystal always fall asleep that fast?" Adam asks.

"Meow Ima cat." Crystal murmurs.

"Half the time she's just sleeping very lightly. Even though she is a light sleeper in the first place." I explain.
