Tremors occurred throughout the base as Team (Y/N) continued to do battle with the Angel. 

And one of the hanging lights fell down. 

Shinji: LOOK OUT! 

Shinji pushed Rei out of the way of the falling lights. 

She barely had any time to consider what happened, as she felt some pain. 

Shinji: She ... She's been through a battle recently. Did she work that machine before I got here? How could they do this to her? 

Misato: Shinji, this is why we need you. If you're not going to pilot the Eva, you'll just be in the way. Even you knew from the beginning that you weren't brought here to celebrate some joyous reunion with your father, right? You knew there was a reason to come so far. Are you planning on just leaving without a word after everything your father said to you? If you don't pilot, then she's going to have to go inside of her! 

Misato: Enough Captain Katsuragi, don't waste any more time on someone as worthless as him. Shjinji, if you're going to go home, then don't dawdle. GET LOST! 

Shinji: ... Fine. I just have to go then. I'll do it. 

Ritsuko: Well said Shinji. Come along, I'll give you a simple lecture on how it works. 

As Shinji walked away, he noticed that his father was smirking. 

Shinji then entered the machine's cockpit. 

Evangelion Unit 01

Shinji: My father never needed me, but now he's built a robot that needs me?! This is a total joke! But I'm up for this challenge! I'm not afraid to die! And I will not die with my own father calling me a coward! 

Unit 01 was prepped up as water filled the cockpit. 

Shinji: WHAT?! WATER?! WHAT'S GOING- 

Ritsuko: Calm down. ONce your lungs are saturated with he LCL, you'll be able to undergo direct oxygen exchange. 

Shinji: AAAAAAAGH! 

Misato: Shinji! Clam down! You'll get used to it in a minute!

Shinji: Damn! At this rate, I'll be dead! 

The main power was then connected as all circuits were fully functional. 

Ritsuko: It's going to work! 

Misato: EVANGELION UNIT-01! PREPARE TO LAUNCH! 

It was then being transported to the launch elevator. 

Misato: Commander Ikari, do we proceed? 

Gendo: Of course. If we fail to defeat the Angels, then humanity has no future to speak of. 

Misato: LAUNCH! 

And with that, it was released. 

On the battlefield... 

(Y/N): OKAY HERE GOES! GIRLS! COME BACK! 

All of Team RWBY jumped back onto you as you smirked! 

(Y/N): ELEMENTAL DRAGON KAMEHAME ..... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

You enveloped the Angel in the blast, thinking that that was over! 

(Y/N): Ha! How do you like- WOAH! 

You then dodged an attack from it. 

(Y/N): IT'S STILL ALIVE?! 

Ruby: How did it- 

Then it fired an energy blast from its mouth! 

Weiss: Well shit, now it's stronger. 

Blake: Hey, something else is coming this way. 

Yang: I swear, it better be friendly or- 

Unit 01 appeared. 

Shinji: Now what? 

Misato: Shinji, are you there? 

Shinji: Yes, but what do I do? 

Misato: You just have to think. Try walking. 

Shinji: Okay ... I can do that ... walk ... come on ... wal- WHOA! 

It started walking. 

Ritsuko: He actually did it! 

Shinji: Guess I'm doing this then! CHARGE! 

It charged straight for the Angel! 

Misato: WAIT SHINJI! 

Shinji: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! 

But he ran past it. 

(Y/N): Okay, that's on our side. 

Weiss: What is the pilot an inexperienced dolt? 

(Y/N): Maybe. 

Unit 01 then ran into a wall. 

Shinji: AGH! 

Misato: COME ON SHINJI! YOU CAN DO THIS! 

The Angel then ran to attack him! 

(Y/N): CRAP! GET AWAY FROM HIM, YOU MONSTER! 

You pinned it down. 

(Y/N): HEY! WHOEVER'S IN THE ROBOT, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! YOU HAVE TO LIVE! WHOA! 

You were thrown off as the arm of Unit 01 was grabbed. 

Shinji: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! 

Shinji felt as if his arm was being dislocated! 

Computer: Arm has sustained Damage! Disconnecting all circuits and rerouting connections! 

Shinji grasped his arm. 

Misato: DAMN IT RITSUKO! CAN'T YOU DO SOMETHING?! AT THIS RATE, HE WON'T HAVE A CHANCE IN COMBAT! 

Ritsuko: This ca't be happening. Unless- Can you lower the neural circuit feedback regulators a notch or even two?! 

Soldier: I'll give it a try! 

The Angel then stuck its arm out and fired an energy blast at the head! 

Shinji: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! 

Computer: Degree of Cranial Damage unkonw! Cutting power to control neurons! Reversing Synchro-graphs!

Unit 01 was completely silent. 

Shinji: ARGH! I'm sending all original orders! Pilot safety is now our top priority! Force ejection of the plug! 

Soldier: There's no manual override! We've lost all contact! 

Misato: WHAT?! 

Unit 01 was unresponsive! 

(Y/N): GRRRR! ORA!!! 

You used a Giant Mimic to punch the Angel in the face! 

(Y/N): MONSTER! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY?! 

As for Shinji... 

Shinji saw himself going into a light. 

Shinji: Am I dead? I guess it's not a big deal at all. 

Then he saw the face of his mother. 

Shinji: M-MOM! 

He went to hug her, but- 

Shinji: AAAAAAAAAGH! I DON'T WANT TO DIE YET! MOM! DAD! HELP ME! 

Then Unit 01 let out a huge scream! 

(Y/N): Hey, it's back up again! 

Ruby: What's going on here?! Is it- 

It charged at the angel, and barely grazed the energy blasts! 

Yang: WOW! LOOK AT IT GO! 

It kicked the monstrosity in the face! 

Misato: Is Shinji controlling the Eva? 

Ritsuko: No, the way he's fighting. It can't be at that level yet. 

Gendo just smirked with a smug look on his face. 

As Unit 01 charged in, the Angel let out an A.Tl Field to stop him! 

(Y/N): Hang on! 

You used Aizawa's Erasure Quirk to stop the field! 

(Y/N): GO FOR IT! 

Unit 01 charged in and started to lay the smack down on the Angel, but then it wrapped its arms around Unit 01 and- 

(Y/N): SHIT! 

The girls held on tightly to you as you got out of the way! 

A massive explosion, in the shape of a cross occurred. 

Yang: No way that thing could have survived. 

(Y/N): Let's hope it did. 

Luckily Unit 01 came out alright. 

(Y/N): Whew. That was a close one. Hey, whoever's in there? Can you hear me? 

Shinji: You were the one who saved me before right? 

(Y/N): Yes. I'm (Y/N), and I'm a friend to you. And you are? 

Shinji: I'm Shinji Ikari. 

(Y/N): Glad to meet you Shinji!
