Star #1: Scaring the Cheep-Cheeps

Mario and Luigi reached the next world: The Blue Beach. They were inside a cave, and the exit was toward them. They got out of the cave and saw the vast and beautiful Beach. However, it wasn't a good place to stay on vacation since it was only held by Bowser's minions. They could see that the sea was full of Bowser's Ships (not the flying ones).

The Mario Bros. continued onward. During their journey around the beach, they saw a Koopa that was dressed as a pirate; he was been attacked by some fishes called Cheep-cheeps. They were bouncing around him.

"Somebody Help Me!" The Koopa Pirate said.

Mario and Luigi went to his aid. They started to jump on each Cheep-cheep to scare them away, back to the sea. Finally, Luigi managed to scare the last one, and the Koopa Pirate as been saved.

"Are you ok?" Luigi asked to the Koopa Pirate.

"Uuugh... yes... Yes I am... Uuugh... I must thank you for freeing me from those irritating fishes... Wait. Are you by chance Mario?"

"Uuumm... Yes". Mario replied.

"Oh Barnacles! I never though that I'll ever meet the hero of the Mushroom kingdom!".

*Mario felt grateful*

"I'm sorry for asking, but how have you ended like this?" Luigi asked.

"Well mustachioed fellow, is a long story: me and me crew were happily sailing around this seas. While at it, we have found this beautiful beach and we decided to embark. But on the way we saw a group of ships coming toward us. Only one ship was a bit different from the others and it was a bit more bigger. This ship was in front of the others, so I assumed that there was where their captain was. We tried to escape by changing direction, but before we could even go back, something stopped the ship. Suddenly, some weird arms came from the sea and started to destroy the ship. I told me crew to leave the ship and find a safe place at the beach. I tried to grab a boat, but whatever was underwater started to rise the ship, I lost balance and felt to the sea. I managed to swim to a boat that felt from the ship too. Fortunately, there was a pair of oars on it, so I use them to reach this beach. On the way, I was seeing how my ship, along with me crew was been taken from me by the unknown monster and by all those other ships. Finally, I managed to reach this place, and here I am... Hey! Are you two listening to me?"

The Koopa Pirate saw Mario and Luigi playing chest. They react to Koopa Pirate's shout:

"Oh yeah of course! You got your ship stolen by something and ended here" Luigi said nervously.

"Aaaaand... How did you ended been attacked by a lot of Cheep-cheeps?" Mario asked.

"Oh is simple, they were after my lunch". Koopa Pirate said while pointing a plate holding some rice with steak.

"Oh" Mario said.

"Now is your turn to speak: What brought you to a place like this?"

"Well, the Mushroom kingdom got attacked once again by Bowser and--" Koopa Pirate interrupted Mario.

"What? Oh I see. Aaaand are you guys looking for, I don't know, something shiny that looks like a star with black eyes?"

"Wait, you know about the Power Stars in this place? Mario asked.

"Wu-well not exactly" Pirate Koopa replied. "Buuuut"...

Koopa Pirate started looking on his bag, took a Power Star out of it and show it to Mario. Mario touched the Star and sent it back to Peach's Castle. Koopa Pirate started to talk again and said:

"Hey, if your planning to explore this beach to look for all the other shiny stars, then I beg you: find me ship and me crew. I'm sure that both of this are ok somewhere around this beach. Oh, and be careful ok?

Mario nodded and moved onward to the other parts of The Blue Ship; Luigi was following behind.

Star #2: Get to the Lone Island

"Hey Mario look" Luigi said. "There's a Power Star on that little island up ahead".

Mario and Luigi saw a boat with a motor, so they used it to reach the island. They made it safe and sound; the Power Star was on a small cliff, easy to climb. Mario climbed the cliff and reached the Power Star. He touched it and sent it back to Peach's Castle.

Mario climbed down the cliff and went with Luigi back to the boat. However, a pair of Big Cheep-cheeps came from the water, and one of them said:

"How dare you take our beloved treasure? We still have another one with us, but it makes us so angry to see you stealing the first one. Now you must pay!"

Star #3: Big and Angry Cheep-Cheeps

The big Cheep-Cheeps tried to crush Mario and Luigi, but they managed to dodge them. After that, they hop on the boat and navigated away from them. The Cheep-cheeps however got in the sea and pursuit them.

"Mario, those big fishes are going to get us before we even reach the beach!" Luigi shouted

"Then do something!" Mario replied.

Luigi didn't know what to do until he saw that the boat held a cannon. Quickly, he grabbed it and pointed at the Cheep-Cheeps, prepare to shoot them if they ever get close.

One of them swimmed quickly to them; Luigi rapidly target and fired the cannon, sending a iron ball directly to the fish's face. The Cheep-cheep got dizzy and was left behind. However, the other Cheep-cheep was willing to attack. It jumped and tried to crush the boat with Mario and Luigi in it. However, Luigi was aiming to it; he then fired and hit the fish, who got dizzy too; it was left behind. However, Mario and Luigi couldn't escape from them, so Luigi had to keep shooting at them until they could reach the beach.

Finally, Luigi managed to defeat the Big Cheep-cheeps, just when Mario reached the beach. They both dissapeared and their treasure got free; It was another Power Star of course. Luigi touched it, and just like always, it went back to Peach's Castle.

"Phew, that was a close one" Luigi said.

Star #4: The Cheep-Cheep Coral Reef

Mario and Luigi decided to enter the sea and swim around to see if there was any other Power Star around. They found a coral reef full of inoffensive Cheep-cheeps. They swim around the reef; they have found many coins. Finally, after a while, Mario saw a Power Star. He then touched it and sent it back to Peach's Castle. Mario and Luigi returned to shore.

Star #5: Blopper Shooting Game

As the Mario Bros. were continuing their quest, they've found what it looks to be a gaming place, and there was an octopus floating near. It then started to speak and said:

"Welcome to the fascinating and marvelous Blopper Shooting Game!".

"What's a blopper?" Luigi asked.

"I am a Blopper" the octopus said. " And now I'm inviting you to give a chance to my wonderful and marvelous game! If you win, then you'll earn a wonderful prize".

"Thanks but we don't have time for--" Marios stopped talking when he saw Luigi trying a shot.

"How much I have to pay per game?" Luigi asked.

"You just have to pay 10 coins". The Blooper replied.

Luigi gave 10 coins to the Blopper to play. Mario gloomed.

"The rules are very simple: You've just need to shoot all the Bloppers that comes out of the water using this cannon. If you hit 20 Bloopers before time runs out, then you win!"

"All right! I'm ready" Luigi said.

The time limit was 1 minute and it began to run. Luigi started to shoot all the Bloppers that were coming out of the sea. However, he failed at every try. Time finished, and Luigi hasn't made a single shot.

"Too bad, but you can try again if you like" The Blopper said.

"What's going on Luigi? You've used a cannon to beat two Cheep-Cheeps earlier" Mario said.

"Mario, but those were very big, while the Bloppers are very small".

Mario started to think about it and decided to play. He paid another 10 coins to the Blopper and started to play. Every Blopper that came out of the water was successfully hit by Mario. At the end he managed to hit 20 bloopers before the last 2 seconds could even reach zero. Luigi and the Blopper were shocked.

"Soooo... where's the price?" Mario asked.

The shocked Blopper opened a chest, and a Power Star got out of it. Mario quickly moved to touch it and send it back to Peach's castle.

Now, Koopa Pirate appeared after following the same path as Mario and Luigi.

"Ahoy there mates! How's your adventure going?" He asked.

While at it, a group of ships were heading to their location.

"Guys guys! Those were the ships that attacked me and me crew!" Koopa Pirate said desperately.

The leader ship got near them, and their captain got revealed. It was Captain Goomba, the one that le d the assault on Peach's Castle. He then said:

"Great! I've finally met Mario and Luigi".

"Who are you?" Luigi asked.

"I'm the one that lead the assault on the Mushroom kingdom's Castle. Oh boy, I remember that I was trying to get all the Power Stars, but then you two entered my Airship and messed everything up. But don't worry, every Power Star we got was enough. However, I see that you still got the nerve to enter King Bowser's castle and steal back all the Stars. But don't think that you'll have any success; you would never stand a chance against one of the most terrifying creatures that have ever existed. You will be finished on this world, and King Bowser will be very happy when he hear the news. But for now, will be taking this guys".

Suddenly, a whirlpool was been created on the sea, and some tentacles came out it.

"No! Not again!" Koopa Pirate said. "Those are the weird arms that took me ship along with me crew".

"Oh yes. I remember when it got destroyed by the same creature that stole it from you" Captain Goomba said.

Suddenly, the tentacles crushed the Blopper that invited Mario and Luigi to play, while another tentacle captured Koopa Pirate.

" Heeeeelp!" He yelled.

The tentacle put Koopa Pirate on Captain Goomba's ship.

"Take him with the others" the captain Goomba ordered to his crew.

The whirlpool dissapeared, and all the ships started to navigate away from the beach. However, Mario and Luigi didn't stay behind and they hop on one of the small ships and got rid of all the goombas that were on it. They got control of the small ship and started to navigate into the other ships, trying to reach the big one where Koopa Pirate was been held.

Star #6: Into the Crew

It started to rain. The Ship where Mario and Luigi are was navigating through Captain Goomba's crew. They all noticed Mario and Luigi's ship and prepared to attack them with their cannons.

"Hey Mario, looks like you can shoot the cannons from the rudder" Luigi explained.

Mario saw that the rudder had two buttons: one on the right and one on the left. The right button fires the cannons on his right, while the left button fires the cannons on his left.

Mario had a enemy ship on his right, so he quickly pushed the right button to fire the cannons. The enemy ship was destroyed, and it started to sink. Mario got another ship on his left. The enemy ship started to fire, doing some minor damage to Mario and Luigi's ship. However, Mario still had the cannons, so he pushed the left button to fire. He destroyed the enemy ship on the act.

They continued fighting their way through the crew; in some moments, Bloppers were coming out of the sea and hop aboard Mario and Luigi's ship.

"Why are this octopus attacking us too?" Luigi wondered while fighting them.

Finally, they managed to reach the ship of Captain Goomba. Captain Goomba ordered to destroy Mario and Luigi's ship. Suddenly, many cannons were coming out of both sides of the ship.

"I can't believe it!" Mario said.

There were so many in both sides. Mario and Luigi were on their right, so Captain Goomba ordered them to attack them from that side. Mario quickly got behind them before they got destroyed. Mario tried to get to the enemy ship's left, but that part was also protected by many cannons. Mario couldn't find a way to climb aboard because of the cannons.

"Give up Mario! You don't have any way to defeat me!" Captain Goomba said.

Mario was thinking of a way to climb aboard; he had an idea, but it was a dangerous one. He started to navigate directly to the enemy ship from behind.

"Mario! What are you doing?! Luigi shouted.

Mario was going to crush the ship and make a big hole in order to enter. Finally, he crashed the ship, and Captain Goomba almost felt after the collision.

Mario and Luigi climbed aboard and fight their way in. They have found the cells where Koopa Pirate was, along with his crew. They free them all and told them to get to the surface.

"Captain Goomba! Mario and luigi are in the ship and they saved all the prisoners! they are coming here now!" a Goomba said.

"Oh no!" Captain Goomba shouted.

Mario, Luigi, Koopa Pirate and his crew got to Captain Goomba's place and they trapped him. However, Captain Goomba jumped from the ship, hop on a boat and escaped.

"This isn't the end Mario! We will meet each other again!" He yelled.

Suddenly, a lot of Bloppers came from the sea, got Captain Goomba and took him underwater. And now Mario, Luigi, Koopa Pirate and his crew were the only ones left on the big ship.

"Look! My crew was alive all this time!" Koopa Pirate said.

"Yeah" Luigi replied. "But we're now on the middle of the sea, on a ship that doesn't work anymore because "somebody" decided to wrecked it" he said while glancing at Mario.

"Well, if it wasn't for that wrecking moment, then we won't be able to save every prisoner on board" Mario said madly.

"Don't worry mates" Koopa Pirate replied. "Oh yeah. I found this on the way up here".

Koopa Pirate got a Power Star out. Mario touched it and sent it back to Peach's Castle.

"There are enough boats for everyone in here. We just have use them too--"

Something big has crashed to the ship.

"What was that?! Luigi yelled.

Suddenly, the big tentacles has come back. Koopa Pirate and his crew started to panic and they all got back to the cells, leaving only Mario and Luigi outside.

"Hey! Where are you going?! Luigi shouted.

"Luigi, look!" Mario said.

At last, the creature with the tentacles revealed itself.

Final Star: Gooper Blopper Battle

The creature known as Gooper Blopper had the whole ship surrounded, and defeating it was the only way to escape.

Gooper Blopper was on the left side of the ship, and there were four cannons on that side. Gooper Blopper got a tentacle out of the water and it was facing at the ship, willing to damage either Mario or Luigi. Since a tentacle was been aimed by a cannon, Mario decided to shoot that cannon. A Iron Ball was fired and damaged Gooper Blopper's tentacle. Suddenly, he decided to take two tentacles out. He had them in front of two cannons each, and Mario and Luigi activated each one of does. They fired and damaged the two tentacles. Suddenly, Gooper Blopper got underwater and got to the other side of the ship; he was on the right side of the ship now, and there were four cannons also.

Gooper Blopper got one tentacle out of the water and once again tried to get Mario or Luigi. He started to move it right and left, so Mario and Luigi needed to time right and shoot the right cannon. Finally, Luigi got it and fired the correct cannon, damaging the tentacle on the act. Now, Gooper Blopper got three tentacles out of the water. Two of them were moving right and left, while the other didn't. Mario fired the cannon that was aiming the tentacle that wasn't moving and damaged it; now they were waiting to shoot the correct cannons to the moving tentacles until they got it right. Gooper Blopper got underwater again and got to the left of the ship.

Now, he got all his tentacles out (four in total) and put them all on the ship, willing to sink it by force. Mario and Luigi had to move quickly; they've got their hammers out and started to hit all the tentacles. Gooper Blopper lost two of them, forcing him to take the other two out of the ship. Now he got mad and moved to the ship's bow. From there, he got his two remaining tentacles out, one on each side, and destroyed all the cannons. Mario and Luigi couldn't shoot any longer. Now they had to fight him on the ship's bow.

Gooper Blopper put his two tentacles on the ship's bow and push it downwards. He was trying to hurl Mario and Luigi to he mouth. Koopa Pirate and his crew were rolling around because of the ship's inclination. Mario got a Fire Flower and shoot a fireball to his mouth, but it didn't do any effect, even if it entered in Gooper's mouth.

"Now what do we do mario?" Luigi asked frighten.

Mario decided to keep the Fire Flower on. He then let himself into Gooper's mouth.

" Mario no!" Luigi yelled.

Gooper Blooper swallowed Mario and let go the ship. Suddenly, he started to receive damage from it's inside because of the flames that Mario was unleashing. Since the flames were more larger than a fireball, the attack was very effective. After a while, Gooper Blopper lost all his health and exploded, sending Mario to the ship once again. Moreover, he got a Power Star that was in Gooper Blopper's belly. He then let the Star get back to Peach's Castle.

Koopa Pirate and his crew got out of the cells and saw that Gooper Blopper was defeated and that the rain stopped. Finally, Mario and Luigi, along with Koopa Pirate and his crew used the big ship's boats to get back to the Beach.

They finally went back, and Mario and Luigi said good-bye to Koopa Pirate and his crew and went back to Bowser's Castle through the portal. Once they got there, they reunited with Toadsworth once again.

"Toadsworth. We managed to get all the Power Stars from this world" Mario informed.

"Excellent work Master Mario and Master Luigi" Toadsworth replied. "I have some good news too: some of our fellow Toads managed to get back to Peach's Castle to see on what state it is right now. Moreover, they used some technology and put a satellite to orbit around the Castle, and they brought me this screen device in order to be informed of the Castle's state. Let's see how it goes".

Toadsworth activated the screen device and saw a live image of Peach's Castle. Toadsworth started to speak and said:

" Some structures got fixed, but there's still a long way to go. You'll need to search for the other Power Stars. Only then can the castle be restored. And please... save the princess".

Mario and Luigi nooded and continued their quest to the fourth world.

Meanwhile at bowser's throne room:

WHAT?! MARIO AND HIS GREEN BROTHER GOT RID OF THE BEAST?! Bowser shouted at Captain Goomba.

"Yu-yes your excellency..." Captain Goomba said frighten.

"YOU INSOLENT FOOL!!" Bowser shouted and hit Captain Goomba, who felt from a window.

Bowser kept talking alone and said:

"Not even a giant octopus could beat those two hooligans! If this continues, they'll get all the Power Stars and reach me to get Peach! What to do?"

Suddenly, Kamek appeared on Bowser's throne room and said:

"Lord Bowser. We finished the weapon that you entrusted to us".

Bowser smiled and said:

"Kamek! You've came in a good timing. Is probably that Mario and Luigi will go where that weapon is right now."

"I understand Lord Bowser, we're going to be prepared by the time they arrive, including the weapon" Kamek replied.

He then teleported back to the place where the weapon is.

"That's going to have Mario and Luigi busy for now" Bowser said. "But just in case Kamek fails, I'm going to be prepared too".

Bowser got out of his throne room, leaving Peach alone inside the glass vessel.
