"Justice, Sam's fiancée"

Napalunok ako bago dahan-dahang inabot ang kanyang kamay. I blinked twice to compose myself.

"Uh- hi, sorry, I- I didn't think you'd be here by now" I honestly replied.

"Hmm, oo e I rescheduled my flight last minute to surprise Sam" she smiled as modest as possible.

"Ahh ganun ba?" I felt the awkward air around us as I forgot na hawak ko parin yung kanang kamay niya, so I immediately let go and tried to smile para hindi naman nakakahiya masyado.

"Ahhhhh, Soph!" I then heard Keily walk down from the stairs calling me while yawning.

I was about to face her when she noticed the company.

"Oh, hello" she enthusiastically greeted her.

"Are you the house keeper here or owner? omg sorry for the trouble, so early of you ha" I looked down as she says those embarrassing words and I saw Justice only smile.

Soon enough nasa tabi ko na si Keily na iniinom yung tubig ko kanina.

"Huy Soph, grineet mo na ba si ate owner? fancy pala talaga dito noh? " she whispered before smiling back at Justice.

I gave a forgiving smile to Justice before leaning to Keily.

"Bawiin mo na yan habang maaga pa" I softly threatened her.

"Ha? ang alin? tong tubig? hala bakit? may bayad ba'to?" she whispered back warily.

"Putang ina Keily, mapapangasawa to ng kaibigan mo, ayusin mo buhay mo" my final threat was successful as she stuttered just trying to breathe.

Lord napakasama naman ng umaga.

"Ah- Sorry, omg sorry talaga-" binaba ni Keily yung baso niya sa table para iabot ang kamay kay Justice to say sorry pero tumawa lang si Justice.

"Okay lang, halata namang wala ka pa sa sarili, kagigising mo lang e" sagot ni Justice which made me close my mouth bago ko pa pagtawanan si Keily. Burn ka ngayon gurl.

"Ah- hahaha, yah.. oo e" Keily replied awkwardly

"Great meeting you both again, I shall head up to let Sam know I'm here" Justice smiled before heading upstairs.

"Ah oo sige sige, gusto mo hatid na kita?" offer ni Keily bago ko siya hinila pabalik sa posisyon niya.

"Hatdog ka pumirmi ka medyo oa na yon" bulong ko sakanya habang napapangiti si Justice.

"I mean- sure, okay go na kay Sam hehe" I mentally slapped my face, pumikit nalang ako sa kahihiyan namin ni Keily

Nakahinga kami ng malalim nang marinig naming nagsara na yung pinto ni Sam sa taas.

"Pota sis, s-si Justice? nung high school?! si Ms. Damian?!" gulat na tanong ni Keily.

I cupped her mouth before telling her to shut up.

"Hayup kang chismosa ka, halika nga dito" I pulled her upstairs as we tiptoed to Ella and Bri's room.

"Wooo!" she breathed as soon as I closed the door kaya nagulat naman sina Ella.

"Mga gurls, rise and shine, time for some chika" Keily immediately pulled both of their blankets.

"Ano baaaa" Ella groaned at hinilang pabalik yung kumot niya bago nagtalukbong habang umupo naman si Bri na anggulo gulo pa ng buhok.

"Jusko Choi pasasalamatan moko sa dala kong balita" Keily added.

"Bakit? bakit?" agad na tanong ni Bri habang nagpupunas ng mukha gamit ang kamay.

"The fiancée is on board"

Agad na tinanggal ni Ella ang kumot sa mukha niya.

"Totoo?" gulat niyang tanong.

"And Soph already met her"

"Pota seryoso?!" napaupo si Ella bago nagayos ng sarili.

"Ay hinde Els, mukha bang nagjojoke sila? tingnan mo nga mukha ni Sophia parang sumuko na sa buhay" pangaasar ni Bri.

"Wow nakatulong" I replied.

"Shush don't worry gurls, kaya natin to, maganda naman na tayo kahit kagigising" pagpapagaan ni Keily.

"Ako lang yon, sorry" singit ni Bri bago tumayo papuntang banyo.

"Yabang e" Ella just snobbed.

"By the way, magayos na den kayong dalawa, para di naman tayo nakakahiya kay ateng fiancée" she added.

Well, medyo late na para don sa nakakahiya part.

"Hmp lika na Soph, ako bahala sayo" Keily pulled me back to our room quietly while watching if Sam's door would open.

"Okay go go, maligo ka na ako na bahala sa damit mo" Keily pushed me to the bathroom and closed the door behind kaya naligo nalang ako gaya ng sabi niya.

"Hmm.. okay but this.." as soon as I walked out the bathroom, Keily was still holding up pairs of heels comparing them to her chosen outfit.

"Ano yan?" I asked.

"Oh you're done? agad? sure ka nagsabon kang mabuti? ay gurl hindi tanggap wisik wisik sa sitwasyon na to" she teased.

"Hayup ka oo naligo ako"

"Char lang, mapapabango ka naman siguro ng tubig dito sa Greece noh?"

"Alam mo ilulunod kita"

"Ay char ulet, sige ito suotin mo, maliligo lang ako wag kang makulit jan" she then ran to the bathroom after she said that.

Umiling nalang ako and took my dress she prepared.

A white square neck puff sleeve dress, beside it is my brown tassel bag. She knows how to style me always. But I see two pairs of footwear beside the bed, a brown gladiator and mules.

"Keil! ako na pipili ng footwear!" I yelled so she can hear from the bathroom.

"Ha?!" she replied.

"Ako na pipili ng susuotin kong sapatos!!" I screamed back.

Nagulat ako when the door flew open revealing an already dressed Ella.

"Gurl baka gusto niyo namang hindi ipaalam sa buong bayan na may sapatos kayo noh?" she sarcastically commented.

"To kasing si Keil bingi e" I defended.

"Ano ba yan? ako na pipili" she replied.

"Nakapili nako huli na ang lahat"

"Wow ah tutulong na nga e, bilisan niyo na nga magayos, itlog lang lulutuin ko ha" sagot niya bago umalis nang kwarto.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I added one last touch of jewelry, I think I pull it off quite nicely so I smiled before taking a pic. Sakto namang lumabas na si Keily sa banyo fully dressed.

"Aba aba, sexy natin ha" bati ko sa suot niya na chiffon spaghetti strap nude dress.

"Of course naman, who knows baka today is the day na mapansin ni papi Matt" she exclaimed.

"Ewan ko sayo, mapahiya ka sana"

"Hoy wag naman, I feel like we connect pa naman hnggg" maarte niyang sambit habang nagbloblow dry ng buhok.

"Una na ako sa baba mapapagalitan na tayo kay Ella"

I opened the door before looking at my way to the stairs when Sam's door at the opposite opened as well.

I stopped in my tracks and unexpectedly held my breath.

In black belted jeans and plain white shirt, and her cream white coat over it. Ali suddenly noticed me and got a little startled which made me smile.

"Oh, hi" she stuttered.

"Hi, good morning" I immediately regret what I just said.

"Uhm- good morning" she replied with a shy smile.

"Malamig na yung pagkain mga chikababes, sige lang talaga ako na susugod sainyo!" we laughed with Ella's words galing sa kitchen.

"Tara na nga" I giggled.

"Yes, after you" grabe pota naman Ali, I missed you so much, ewan ko kung as a friend. Or is it that ayokong aminin na it's more than that.

I shushed my thoughts and proceeded to walk.

"Ayaaan bababa din naman pala, kala ko magiging sisiw na yung niluto kong itlog e" Ella commented as soon as she saw us walking down the stairs.

"Niluto na nga e edi hindi na lalaki" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Sus daming alam di kita pakainin jan e"

"Joke lang to naman, ito na nga oh" I sat down beside her para makabawi.

"E nasan na kasi yung mga yon?!" she screamed.

I then heard steps from the stairs so I looked over and saw Justice going down.

"Ayan, yawa ka Ella" I whispered.

"Ay shet si ate fiancée, di ko naman sadya" she whispered back hiding her face.

"Tingnan mo kasiii" I pulled her hands to remove it from covering her face.

"Bakit ba? nakakahiya ka naman e" she fought back.

"Ella? bakit ka nagtatago?" Justice giggled as she came near the table.

Napatingin agad si Ella with matching malaking mata kaya napacringe naman ako.

"Hoy- ay- I mean, pota? Sam? bakit hindi mo sinabi sakin si madam Avery pala fiancée mo?!" she exclaimed pinching Ali.

"Ahh surprise?" Ali replied smiling.

"Goshhhh how long has it been?! shems missed you madam pres" Ella greeted her holding both her hands while smiling widely.

I looked at Ali's fond expression and instantly tried to look away when she caught me.

Buti nalang pababa na sina Bri at Keily nung binaling ko yung tingin ko sa kabila.

"Oh kala ko di na kayo dadating e" napakananay talaga ni Ella e.

"Duh pwede ba yon?... By the way Sam san uupo si Matt?" Keily shamelessly asked.

Ali laughed and said na hindi sumasabay si Matt magbreakfast unless sa kotse na sila madatnan, seems like he's fond of cafes.

"Ha? so para saan tong ootd ko?" asar niyang sabi.

"Gurl ikain mo nalang muna yan noh?" Bri teased before sitting beside Justice who is beside Ali.

"Uy hi, long time no see Avery" close ba sila? for all I know si Ali lang samin ang tumatawag sakanya nang Avery.

"Hi Bri, happy we meet again personally" mukhang plastic to ah, pero wag judger.

"Uhh ehem, kain na?" Ella broke the silence.

Isa isa na kami kumuha ng kanin at itlog but then yung natirang itlog is not my kind of taste.

"Soph wag na maarte kainin mo yung luto ko" minata ako ni Ella from my left side.

I don't like overcooked eggs, ito yung. mukhang pasisiw na e.

I was about to blindly take it when Ali snatched it away and put back her perfectly cooked egg sa plate.

"This looks good" she commented before eating it, it left me open mouthed.

"What a sudden change in taste love" Justice side commented.

"Hmm? well, baka sapakin ako ni Ella e" she laughed.

"Ah? ahh haha oo makakakuha ka sakin" Ella stuttered first but sinakyan niya rin si Ali.

"Beshi, kikiligin na ba ako?" Keily whispered on my right ear so I pinched her legs kaya lumayo naman siya and I smiled at her threateningly.

"So san pala tayo pupunta?" Bri asked which broke the awkward silence. I never expected magiging ganto ka awkward yung first day namin sa Greece.

"Keeping it light, sa windmills sana, bukas nalang yung medyo adventure" Ali replied which made us stop eating and look at her.

"What? you think hahayaan kong walang walwalan?" she scoffed.

"Omg! das what I love about u talaga e!" Keily screamed.

"Anong adventure yan? makakauwi pa ba kami nang buo sa Pilipinas?" Ella asked jokingly.

"Hinde" Ali teased which earned her a flick on the forehead.

"Aray! oo makakauwi ka ako mismo maghahatid ng katawan mo" she added.

"Buenavista hindi ako natutuwa sayo ha, isasabit kita sa windmill mo"

"Chill po tayo ano? baka mapaaga ang paguwi mo pag nahigh blood ka" hindi tumigil sa pangaasar si Ali.

"Oo nga nadala mo ba maintenance mo?" dagdag asar pa ni Bri kaya nag apir sila ni Ali.

Napuno nang tawanan ang almusal sa pangaasar nila kay Ella.

We're currently on our way to the windmills when my phone beeped.

I checked to see a chat from Lance, I opened it and saw a picture of him sa hospital with a sad face. I unconsciously smiled with his silliness.

"Wag kang maarte, araw-araw mo namang ginagawa yan" I replied before putting my phone down.

I thought I saw Ali na nakatingin from the passenger's seat pero baka namalik mata lang ako.

"Okay now to your left.." nagpipicture taking na si Bri at Keily while I was waiting for them to finish, first destination mapupuno na yung storage e.

This place is really breath taking, every corner eerily feels like home. Angsarap sigurong tumira dito, the air is as fresh as ever and parang napapalibutan ka ng painting na kapaligiran. I closed my eyes and felt the breeze pass through.

I decided to stroll around sa may shore part, I think I saw Ella with Ali and Justice na pumunta sa souvenir shops kanina kaya hindi na ako naghanap ng kasama.

The sea was calm but loud, it sure wanted to claim its presence but it only brought me peace. This brings me back to our youth, joyful and fulfilling.

"Why do you still have that?" nagulat ako sa biglaang nagsalita kaya napaharap ako agad almost losing my balance. Ali immediately held my arm and pulled me in.

I opened my eyes as I got over the shock and felt a warm presence on my cheek.

Shit. I was leaning on Ali, puta hinayaan niya nalang sana akong mabasa, hindi ko na tuloy alam paano kakalma.

I took a step back and apologized.

"It's fine, sorry nagulat kita" she replied.

"ah-okay lang, magugulatin naman talaga ako" I laughed nervously.

She smiled before looking at my neck.

"You still have that"

I looked at my necklace and held it.

"Ahh i-ito ba? maganda masyado para itapon e" nirason ko.

"Ahh, still suits you best " I hid my face as I felt warmth flushed.

"But, the ring.. perhaps you already forgot about it?" she smiled awkwardly scraping her nape.

I smiled back softly before letting go of my necklace, revealing the ring inserted into it.

She gulped before smiling wider.

"Wow, I thought I'd never see it again" she bit her lip.

"Just like I thought I'd never see you again" I did not have the strength to stop those words from falling from my mouth.

"I mean- you know, hindi na tayo bata and you obviously have far more things to attend to-"

"I'm sorry"
