They guided the Ansur and Thorn troops into the City of Rad, but unease simmered among them. The JEF were strangers, their unfamiliar weapons handled with a clumsy confidence that reminded some of the crossbows they had seen. A few scoffed, dismissing them as cowardly for relying on ranged weaponry and their imposing steam tanks. Their commanders, especially Kaguya, quickly silenced such talks. She had glimpsed the troops' true strength in her visions and was 100% certain that these were the same warriors who fought for freedom and liberty in their own world and this one.

As they approached the city, they were startled by the sight of a sprawling military base just outside the walls. The guards waved them through, and inside, they watched in amazement as troops went about their unfamiliar routines. Some tossed a ball through a hoop in a game called basketball, while others chased after another ball in what the Americans called soccer and the others called it football.

The troops themselves, upon seeing them, have a mixed reaction. Those perverted or shameless began to woo at them as their female comrades slapped those at the back of their heads, those who were mature and loyal ones could only shake their heads in bewilderment due to their odd choice of clothing.

The women even with cloths are beyond in decency, they're all expose to their certain parts that made them asking literally to be raped, this time there is no excuse. They can excuse the Halflings because they're a different race, but humans were not. They couldn't find themselves to see a reason why these women could not see that they are asking to be raped.

While the Ansur and Thorn army couldn't care less since they are used to this, though Kaguya upon seeing this for the 1st time could not help but feel the shiver in her body.

When Kaguya got wind of the almost-war between them due to a mistake of one of them as a Dark Elf and one actually being a Dark Elf, she silently chastised Reku for that and told her she would have failed her duty if she could not control her temper, which Reku had the decency enough to feel ashamed of her actions and promised that she won't do it again.

When they finally entered the city of Rad, where the Halfings began to escort them towards Luu-luu's home, while others are led to different parts of the city where they will stay.

And there, they saw the JEF were also in the City mingling with the Halflings as well as posing as guards in the City. Kaguya and Maia deduced that Luu-luu likely trusted the humans and non-humans enough to be inside of her city to be their other set of protectors in case there is another attack.

In Luu-luu's home, Anthony, along with his officers, could not help but saw the women as their eyes twitched.

"Am I seeing right?" David asked as he pulled his binos away from his eyes before putting it back, "Nope, fuck nah."

"These women are literally asking to be RAPED! Seriously, whose idea was this shit?" Said Aleksandr.

"Likely a pervert with a twisted mindset," Anthony said as he looked with serious expression on his face, "if one of them was any of my wives, I'll be sending them back home this instant."

"Let's agree that we won't be sending our daughters, and if the western side is this level of ridiculousness," Said Daid with a wince.

Luu-luu stood beside him. "So, what do you think of them?" She said, hoping for some positive opinions.

"A bunch of idiots with blades..." Was Anthony's answer.

Luu-luu tilted her head at that in confusion, "Huh?"

"Look at them, Luu-luu, who in their right damn mind would wear such a thing? They're practically asking for raped." Anthony said with a cringe in his tone as they looked at Luu-luu.

"Hey, don't looked at me like that, ask the Goddess about it she's the one who order us to wear such things." Said Luu-luu as she raise her hands in surrender as well as pouting, well after looking at their pictures and speaking to the female troops of what their women were wearing. It's safe to say they're quite decent, though if she was honest herself. Most were not as large when it comes to chest size and some were or even bigger. She did love the bras as a few of the female troops spared her some of theirs.

Somehow it fixed some backache that she didn't know she had.

"And why wear it? Is there is such a strategy about the ways of their clothing?" Said Ven'di. "How could their exposed bodies protect them from the environment?"

Luu-luu shrugged, "Let's just say it's the Goddess' protection that protected us from the environment."

'Yeah, they're idiots' was the thought of the men.

"Can you tell us about these two? Who's who?" Said Anthony pointing at Maia and Kaguya.

Luu-luu nodded, "Certainly, the red haired woman with two swords is name Maia no last name, and she's an Orphan. She's a leader of her own mercenary band named the Red Roses Mercenaries, an all-female group, second only to the Black Dogs, and she is quite an experienced leader when it comes to battle tactics. But she's terrible at administration due to no formal education, but still she became the leader of Ansur at Celestine's choosing."

They grimace at that. Well, administration is no easy task, one does not become a general in the army by simply being good tactician, Anthony himself was in the verge of giving command as the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps due to his excellent record giving him a command of 250,000 marines was not beyond his scope of possibility as he is quite a charismatic leader able to rally both of his men and officers focusing on a single clear goal and objectives uniting them, that which even various world leaders approved of his promotion.

"I can find that as an excuse, ruling a city is different than commanding an army." Anthony said, seeing how Maia survived this is a miracle itself. Since she has no formal education.

"Well, she has her trusted advisors to do that for her." Luu-luu said as she sounded more relieved being as old as she is, and being a Halfling, Luu-luu takes her job seriously looking at her city and people and making sure that they would be prospered. Being an elected leader, she does everything she can to make sure that her people can sleep easy at night, whereas Maia barely done it due to lack of education and being impatience as hell when it comes to paperwork. She was worried for the people of Ansur until Maia's advisor help governed the city, that which made Luu-luu to be relieved at least Ansur can look for another day.

"Good to know," Said Anthony in relief, well, at least she has a trusted advisor to do for her before looking at Kaguya. "And the other princess?" He said as he looked at the young adult woman who was inside her carriage.

"Well, that would be Shrine Priestess Kaguya," Said Luu-luu. "Unlike Maia's being elected, Thorn has an heredity for their shrine priestess, not necessarily bloodline, as they can choose their successors. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kaguya's predecessor died, so she's still young and has been ruling for barely a year."

'Typical Feudal system,' Thought Anthony, "Does she have any battle experience?" He asks.

"No, only through her appointed generals namely Saya her cousin known for her katana skill and being her tactician, then Katsuie Shibata she is known being her vanguard and a great warrior, and lastly Niwa Nagahide like Saya she's also a tactician and wielder of naginata both are beauties, but don't let them fool you as they can cut you to pieces like some cake," Luu-luu said as she introduce the generals.

'They try that and a sniper will pop their head like a melon.' Thought Aleksandr.

"Thanks for the info, Luu-luu." Anthony said, "As well as to deal with the incident earlier," he added as they were notified by Henry and Aiden about the incident that which would likely caused a war between their people due to mistakenly identifying the blacks as dark elves and almost attacking Aiden for being a half Dark Elf, which luckily, Maia managed to make her companion look into one of the black troops to confirm that they are human and Aiden being different than their Dark Elves.

With the princesses

"Still planning to ally with them, Kaguya?" Said Maia as she looked at Kaguya as they approached the Mansion.

Kaguya nodded, "Yes, I'm still planning to request aid from them to defeat the Black dogs." Said Kaguya, she may not be of interest to the outside world, but her friendship with Celestine, as well as her vision, convinces her to be more open-minded as she needs to protect her homeland. "But I have a bad feeling about the western side of Eostia accepting such an alliance due to their so-called traditional route."

Maia snorted at that, "Ha, those stuck-up ass knights always relied on their so-called honor and chivalry, which is bullshit to begin with, don't even start me with that blonde bitch, she will not last long when the Black Dogs exploit it against her." Maia said, "Not only that, they are the ones who agreed to send the Black Dogs in the first place without a local army to oversee them, and yet they have the gall to blame me? What a bunch of idiots," she scoffs. "Bunch of cowards," she hisses in anger.

Her friend and retainer, named Elza, comforted her, "And it's not your fault, you didn't see it as well," She said.

"And I'm still to blame for it, Elza, I too agreed to send the Black Dogs." Said Maia as she frowned

"Back to the topic," Kaguya interrupted, "There is another need of concern."

"What's the problem?" Maia asked as she raised her eyebrow.

"We notice that their black skin humans, the people of Eostia, would mistake them to be Dark Elves, and their Dark Elves to be our Dark Elves. And that earlier incident proves that." Kaguya said.

Maia's frown deepened. "Yeah, and the people would riot upon seeing them, not realizing that they are humans and the Dark Elves having zero relation to the ones we fought. General Reku would have been killed if it weren't for me stopping her." Said Maia, realizing that there would be another problem that they needed to address.

"We're here," Kaguya said as she looked up at the building.

"Hope they're general is young and handsome," Said Maia with a smirk.

Later~

They had to wait for another twenty minutes before the two princesses arrived at the mansion to see the General in the army.

Maia was expecting a leader who is the same age as them. It took them another five minutes to arrive in the General's office due to the MPs having to confiscate their weapons, much to their protest, until Kaguya had enough and forced them to surrender their weapons, as they're not allowed to enter with their weapons.

Maia was quite shocked. There were at least four people inside sitting down at a table. Two were demi-humans (Ven'di and Aleksandr) and two were humans with one of them being dark-skinned (Anthony). They looked at the two (David and Anthony) who appeared to be in their late 40s or early 50s that which Maia expected them to be at their age, while Kaguya did not. Although she expected someone to be mature and experienced, and looking at these people, she believed that they were both, though she felt uneasy when she looked at the two Marines. As she saw them with one of her visions when they were much younger, the Men were literally quite legends due to their tactical prowess, and this is exactly the kind of generals (she thought David was a general) that they needed. Generals who doesn't care about the rules of war.

"I didn't expect the two of them to be... seniors," said Maia with a pout, 'But the middle one sure as hell still looks handsome though,' was her thought while looking at Anthony.

"Have a seat," Said Ven'di.

With it, all of them sat on their chairs.

"Some introduction, I'm Lieutenant General Anthony Spain Towson of the United States Marine Corps of the United States of America and commander of this Joint Expeditionary Force. Beside me is USMC Chief Warrant Officer 5 David Sith Fernandes, Mexican Army Major Ven'di, and Ukrainian Army Lieutenant Aleksandr Kravchuk." Anthony introduced himself along with his fellow officers.

"Well, our turn, names Maia from Ansur, beside me is Elza," Said Maia.

"And I'm Kaguya from Thorn, and these are my Generals Saya and Riku." Kaguya said as she left Niwa back home to command the defense.

"Let us start, shall we?" Anthony said, wanting to start their conversation as soon as possible.

Everyone nodded.

"We know how the war started, a thousand-year war against Olga Discordia and the Dark elves along with their legions of monsters, and when the war ended, another began just as it ended because due to the unsatisfied sexism and ambition of one man named Vult, am I forgetting something?" Anthony said, having been told of how the war started by Luu-luu, as well as their prisoners, before he executed them.

It still shocks him that they are only sending mercenaries to attack Garan's home of the Dark Elves until he knew the reason why, Alicia's father sent an army to attack Garan, only for them to not return, which made Anthony suspicious of the Black Dogs' quick success. Still, he heard that Alicia's father is not that good when it comes to battle tactics.

Not only that, they can't even send their own troops, especially the Western side appeared to be quite cowardly by Luu-luu's words towards them, as well as different kinds of petty reasons that made Anthony's and many others' blood boil upon hearing such reasons.

"Yes, that is quite the short version," Said Maia.

"Yet, I haven't asked this question: who agreed to recruit only mercenaries? And how do you get that money? I doubt you have such vast wealth, and it would be one of the reasons why they betrayed you." Said Anthony. Money is what keeps the mercenaries to keep them loyal, only if they follow their contract and don't betray their employer.

"The Church of the Goddess sponsored and recruited the Black Dogs," Kaguya spoke. There was a distaste in her mouth for saying that.

Anthony massaged his head for that, well, not that it was different in their world. Even then, their Church knew at least not to put too much trust in the mercenary company. "Your church is a bunch of dumbass idiots, not even our vast religions are this idiotic to trust the mercenaries entirely to rely on them." Anthony said, "Why not Knights and levies? Hell, for all intents and purposes, your high queen has enough authority to call a Crusade, and there will be thousands of fanatics to answer the call."

"That is quite the problem," Said Maia as she massaged her head too. "High Queen Celestine is too kind to do that, and not to mention the Church does not help either."

Anthony and the others wince at that as well... too much compassion is no fit to be a leader when it comes to war times, "Yeah, that's quite a problem," he then looked at Kaguya, "Is there something you want to say, Kaguya?" he asked.

Kaguya sighed, "I proposed that you join us in our alliance against the Black Dogs?" She said.

"WHAT?! I DON'T APPROVE OF IT!" Shouted Riku as she refused to ally with them due to them being too unknown to be acknowledged as an ally, despite Kaguya's visions.

"Riku," Saya said in a stern tone as she looked to her fellow general.

"Riku, have you forgotten what I said? We don't have the strength to beat the Black Dogs. At best, we can only do a stalemate, but how long do you think we can maintain that?" Kaguya spoke in a stern, calm tone that stopped Riku.

"But they're unknown, and you have told us about your visions!" Said Riku

The men perked up about it, "What visions?" David asked.

With it, Kaguya told them about the visions of their world and the conflicts they had in this world and how their wars are much worse compared to theirs.

"And so you have seen war against the Cross Army, am I right?" Asked Anthony, the way she describes the Zealots' brutality against humans and non-humans sums it up.

Kaguya shivered in her spine, even she she was still praying for those innocent who had died, she nodded. "Yes," She said.

Anthony and David were thoughtful for that as it did bring up some bad memories, "And you know how destructive we are if we bring to bear our weapons in your wars?" The latter asked.

"I understand, but you and your forces are the only hope in this continent against the coming darkness. An army that isn't afraid to throw away the rules to achieve victory," Said Kaguya. "This is why I ask of you to aid us," She said as she stood and bowed before them, much to the shock of her friends. "Please, I will even offer myself to you as a bed warmer."

Hearing that has made their eyes widen in horror. "My Lady, you can't possibly just offer your body to these barbarians!" Shouted Riku in horror, she now knew how serious their situation is, and to think Kaguya would even lower herself to that level made her think that if Kaguya's visions are true of their destructive potential, then she would need to take them seriously.

"Whoa, whoa, hold the fuck up there, Kaguya! Let's not be too hasty here." Said Maia as she stood looking shocked at her friend to lower herself to such as this. Hell, she knows how much Kaguya devoted herself to her God, and to think that she is ready to break traditions both worries her and makes her nervous because she didn't think her visions were this serious until she saw the JEF, and one thing is for sure. She felt their aura of power that they would be taken seriously.

"Kaguya, you can't be serious!" Luu-luu shouted in horror. For all her years, she knew the shrine priestess in Thorn, not one of them would easily offer their body, not even in the threat of destruction of their nation, but to see her this desperate was enough to make Luu-luu worried for her friend.

Sure, Kaguya may have seen their wars, and Luu-luu herself has seen firsthand how destructive they can be.

The men themselves are also wide-eyed to be given such an offer. They looked to Anthony, whose expression was unreadable, but they could see the veins. They knew that he was a ladies man. It was not long before he got married to his harem of nine wives.

He sighed before speaking, "We'll help you, but your offering of your body is completely unnecessary."

Kaguya stood up straight and looked shocked. He didn't even need her body to warm his bed? Well, any man would easily accept her offer since she dedicated her life to her God and had already prayed for this before offering herself to the General. She was a beautiful young woman whom many men wanted to bed with, but he refused her offer, which made the General appear to be, and if she is honest, become desirable.

To that end, Kaguya couldn't help but blush as her heart was pounding after all, the General is a good-looking man. As he appeared to be well-maintained, his body, despite the stress of leading an Entire army.

"Also," he said before showing his fourth finger of his left hand. "I'm happily married. And I'll be damned to cheat on my wives with another woman."

"Eh?"

Was, all Maia and Kaguya could mutter as their thoughts of dating the man shattered like glass. But at least they knew he was a man of honor, commitment, and loyalty to those he loves. Plus, Maia did remember seeing his sons before coming here.

They also saw the others show their fourth finger on their left hands. Meaning their married too.

Anthony nodded in understanding. "Another thing is, we'll do our own thing. No one commands my forces but me."

Both Princesses wince at that. "I don't have a problem with that, except the western side would likely enforce its will against you." Said Maia.

"Let them try, and they won't have our aid as we do our thing." Said Aleksandr not liking the fact about the western side.

"And in order for that to finalize, we've decided to go to Ken since we have been summoned there too." Anthony said.

"Well, I hope there won't be an incident," Said Kaguya with a sigh. "I pray for you and hope that they will accept your alliance with them."

"Let us hope so," Muttered Anthony as he stood. "I've already prepared my troops to move towards the capital." With it, he left, and the three princesses soon followed.
