The satellite uploads a video feed of land near Alsace Village in flames at night with small-arms shooting from the ground.

"After heavy fighting. Marines and soldiers of the coalition began their evacuation of the village where the Cross Army is making their stand in there. Fighting has intensified in the area as Anti-aircraft fire at Pegasus Riders and burning fields and buildings light up the night." A news reporter said. "Today, communications are in chaos and commercial flights from the airports in allied kingdoms have been cancelled. While some con..." As the reporter is speaking as a Blackhawk flies throughout the village. Many things can be seen. A squadron of CH-47 Chinooks and Mil Mi-26 Halos can be seen flying below. A lone AH-1Z Viper can be seen taking out a a large group of Cross Army knights, and an Ukrainian MiG-29 can be seen initiating a bombing run.

A URK soldier is seen leaving the controls of the helicopter, and hooks up to rappel down. The helicopter is shot down by a light arrow.

"OH SHIT!!" The URK soldier exclaimed.

The helicopter pilot callsign Hotel Six is heard talking through the radio, "Quad 50! We're hit! We're hit!"

A helicopter swings wildly out of control. As the URK soldier luckily manage to swing from their ropes into a room.

Hotel Six is seen goin down. "Lima Niner, we are going down!"

Another helicopter callsign Lima Niner is heard talking through the radio, "Hotel Six, come back. Hotel Six, do you Roger?!"

"Lima Nine, Hotel Six is gone." The URK soldier said dusting off his boonie hat and showing face and elf ears to reveal URK Army Scout Underofficer 3rd Class Yoo.

An Cross Army enters the room Yoo is in to investigate the noise of the windows shattering when Yoo crashed in. Yoo ambushes him and snaps his neck, and attempts to pull his SPAS-12 from the knight's corpse. While he was doing this, he shoots 2 more knights passing the room and noticing the commotion. He breaks the gun away.

Yoo loads Dragon's Breath shells. After that, he shoots and kills ten Cross Army knights in one-shot.

"Holy shit! Holy shit, that was awesome!"

Yoo then takes the Cross Army's sword. He runs into the hallway and slices a guard's head clean off. Another guard sees this, and he attempts to fire, but Yoo slashes his throat, causing him to choke to death on his own blood. He then turns to another guard and stabs him in the gut.

"Man! That's fucking brutal!"

Yoo then proceeds to stab the wounded guard's eyes out, blinding him. And shoot him with his SPAS-12 shotgun.

Yoo then continues to move on.

As Yoo is moving, he shoots 2 more guards coming up the stairs.

"Lima Niner, I got eyes on X-Ray. He got Crossy all over the north wing, sir." Spoke Lima Niner on the radio.

David's voice is heard on the radio, "Light 'em up!"

"Lima Nine is inbound. X-Ray, get your head down!"

Yoo take cover as Lima Niner shoots inside the building with the Blackhawk's heavy machine guns, killing Cross Army knights.

"X-Ray, you're clear."

A civilian passes by Yoo, startled upon seeing him and thankfully seeing him and not a Cross Army knight. "Out of the way, go! Sir, northeast corner."

"On the way. X-Ray, we're breaching through the roof. The whole building's overrun!" David said via the radio as he, Keith, Kurono's group rappel down from a window from the roof, and clear the room.

An Cross Army knight outside of the building gives orders to his troops.

"What did he say? I couldn't hear from all the gunfire?" A fairy said as she flew by them.

"I heard," Keith said as his fox ears twitch. "He said, 'Kill the everyone'."

"What?" Aten said in disbelief.

"WHAT?!" David and Vulcan exclaimed.

A loud booming voice is heard over all the noise, "To the humans in weird clothing. Your collaboration with these  demons(demi-humans) is proof of your guilt. In accordance with tradition, the punishment of death is to be carried out immediately."

Cross Army knights enters a room and executes unarmed civilians both human and demi-human. The group kills them in a firefight and magic fight.

"X-Ray, this is Capt. Towson, anyone who doesn't get out soon isn't going to. The Cross Army have overwhelmed the entire north wing. This is from Lily's reconnaissance." Anthony spoke via the comm link.

"Roger that Capt. T, moving on." David nodded.

They enter a room with stairs, and CAKs. "Fire mage!" Harry pointed, "At the window!"

An CAK throws a Fireball magic from a window high up to the ground. A few more civilians run in, but to no avail are killed by the Cross Army.

"Shit, this is not good," David cursed.

"X-Ray, this is Lima Nine. We've got Crossy on the roof. I've got eyes on an Apost-!" Lima Niner was cut off but is seen spinning out of control with a light arrow sticking out the pilot cockpit window. The helicopter goes down and explodes.

"Lima Nine is down, Lima Nine is down. Anyone copy?" Stepan said via the radio.

There is a small explosion that shakes the building.

They leave the compound, and meet up with the others.

"Command, where the hell's our pick up?!" Itami shouted in his radio.

"Be advised, Marine and Army forces are engaged in heavy fighting East of the compound. Push through to rally point Delta - 2 klicks west on the river." Command said.

"We'll make it - you just bring us that evac!" Keith said with determination.

The loud booming voice spoke again, "Human soldiers of weird clothing! Put down your weapons! This is not your war! We wish you no harm. The Cross Army is here to liberate you!"

"We're gonna need some close air support for this." Shino muttered.

"Skies too dangerous for a AC-130." Vincent said.

They make it to an area and meet up with Marines and Soldiers engaging CAKs, aided by an LAV-25A3 named "Bottom Feeders". Yoo walks up to their radio operator, who is trying to call an airstrike, but is being denied. "R-T Texas this is One-Five. We need immediate air support at grid 7 Delta Oscar Tango!"

"One-Five we do not have clearance in that grid. Everyone's in the shit, son."

"Son of a bitch, fuck!"

"YOO! Grab that damn radio!" Chris ordered as Yoo approached the operator.

"Pull it together, and give me that radio!" Yoo demanded but the guy gave him a skeptical look.

"What are you, S.O.G?"

"Just give me the radio."

"Good luck with that shit." He said as he gives Yoo the radio.

"Texas this is Sierra Oscar Golf X-Ray. Priority one ordinance on my command. I authenticate golf two, over." Yoo spoke on the radio.

"Affirmative, X-Ray. Let us know when you need us." Texas confirmed surprising the guy.

"Marking coordinates, take 'em out." Yoo said as he laser designated a six story building.

"Coordinates confirmed. Contact at the six story building. Coming in, X-Ray. keep your heads down."

Texas flies in a modified Bell UH-1Y Venom with the XM21/M21 Armament Subsystem. Fires at the six story building with missiles and 20mm guns. They jump down the ledge and enters the streets.

"Holy crap!" Kurono, Harry, and Simon exclaimed as the building came down.

"We have confirmed kills, area secure." Texas spoke.

The Marines, Soldiers, and adventurers move forward, taking out multiple CAKs. However, after moving one or two blocks, the LAV Bottom Feeders is destroyed by an Cross Army mage. She  moves back toward the end of the street.

"Shit." Kevin said.

"LAV's down! There's a fucking mage out there! Yoo, tag that daughter of a bastard right now!" Keith ordered.

"Texas, we have an enemy mage at Viktor, Zulu, Seven Foxtrot!"

"Affirmative X-Ray, standby for strafing run." Texas comes in at the opposite end of the street where the mage is. "X-Ray, we're coming in hot!"

Texas deletes the mage, allowing the group to move on. "You are clear to proceed."

"Let's move out! The LZ's half a klick away, at the end of the street." Anthony shouted

The CAKs are dug in in a building. Yoo calls in support. "Marking coordinates. Take em' out, Texas."

"Affirmative, X-Ray." Texas goes to attack, however, light arrows and magic black bullets start firing at Texas. "Shit... evasive action! X-Ray, we are under heavy fire! X-Ray, the grid is hot, RT-Texas is pulling out. Take down that anti air and we will return support, over."

"Understood, Texas." David said as Texas flew away.

Kurono saw where the fire was coming from, "I see it! Anti-Air, second floor, end of the street. Gotta find another way! That street's in the beat zone."

"We'll flank that building." Itami said as they run to the building, but the door is blocked by debris. David tries push it out, but it wouldn't move.

"Guys! Help me clear this! Arg..." David, Anthony, and Simon try to move the debris blocking the entrance to the flanking building, but they are stuck. "Push harder!"

"We need to get off the street!"

"Fuck!"

A BTR explodes sending it and the US Marine that had been taking cover behind it flew towards everyone, but they made it in just before it hit them. Laura moves the US Marine's corpse laying on top of her, and moves on.

"Guys, we gotta take out that AA. Mozlan, keep these guys safe." Stepan said to the skeleton.

"Got it!" He giggled. 

While Itami, Anthony, David, and Yoo are clearing the building, Yoo and Hannah falls through the floor when an explosion hits the building.

They quickly regain their composure and assess the situation. Dust and debris settle around them as they find themselves in a lower level of the building. "Hannah, you okay?" Yoo coughs.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Looks like we're in the basement now. We need to find a way back up and deal with that anti-air." Hannah coughs a bit.

"Agreed. Let's move quietly and stay low. We don't want to draw too much attention down here." They proceed cautiously through the dimly lit basement, navigating through twisted metal and debris. The sound of the battle reverberates through the structure, a constant reminder of the looming threat above. Both began to whisper to each other, "Keep an eye out for any hostiles or alternate routes back up." Yoo whispered.

 Hannah whispers back, "Will do. And be ready for anything."

As they make their way deeper into the basement, they can hear faint voices and footsteps echoing from a nearby corridor. It seems they're not alone down here.

David's voice is heard on Yoo's radio, "Yoo! You okay?"

"I'm still breathing. We'll see you at the rally point." Yoo responded. He and Hannah find the AA, and clear the CAKs guarding them. "The AA is right above us." He steadies a C4 charge on some exposed bricks, and gets to a safe distance. "Fuck you, AA!"

Yoo blows the charge, destroying and killing the Cross Army archers and mages and destroying the front half of the building.

Hannah laughed a bit, "Ha! Good work, Yoo!"

A Cross Army golems backs away upon realizing its anti-air support is gone, but is destroyed by Texas as it arrives at the rally point to evacuate the wounded. The gunship lands, and the team and the Marines and Soldiers get into the town square.

Fiona spoke up a little glad but tired, "There's our ride."

Kevin who was carrying said woman on his back didn't seem so sure, "I'm not so sure..."

Texas answered Kevin's concerns on the radio, "Get the wounded first. More birds on their way - sit tight. X-Ray, air support is offline while we evacuate the wounded."

Anthony sighs, "Looks like we got to wait. Everyone load up and get ready - I want this LZ secure! C, Yoo, set up charges around the perimeter." Chris and Yoo do what they can to secure the LZ.

Smoke is popped and the Cross Army enters the area after the booming voice is heard , followed by battle cries from the CAKs.

"Here they come!"

Yoo switches SA80 A2 to Full-Auto, "Let's do this you bloody wankers!"

A fierce firefight, magic-fight and sword-fight erupts in the town square as the CA forces close in on X-Ray's position. The team, along with the Marines, Adventurers and Soldiers, defend their LZ with everything they've got.

Vincent and Chris unleash their firepower, picking off CAKs as they advance. The crackling of small arms fire and explosions from grenades echo through the chaos.

Stepan coordinates the defense, providing cover fire and directing his team members to strategic positions. "Keep 'em off us, Lily! We can't lose this LZ!"

"You got it, boss!" Lily responded.

Simon uses his shooting skills to navigate the battlefield, taking precise shots and neutralizing threats efficiently. "Headshot... and another." He said calmly.

David, the seasoned Marine, shouts encouraging words to his men as they hold the line. "Don't let those bastards take this LZ! We're getting out of here!"

Explosions and gunfire intensify as the CAKs attempt to overwhelm X-Ray's position. The battle rages on, and every member of the team fights valiantly to ensure the safety of the LZ.

After the firefight, the Cross Army begins to fall back.

"They're pulling back! That's either good or bad!" Claydor shouted.

"Bad!" Nino said, "They are not retreating - they are regrouping!"

"Command! - X-Ray One Zero! We got a prairie fire down here! Where's our damn evac?!!" Stepan shouted on the radio.

Command spoke on the radio, "This village is falling apart - They're picking some of our birds right out of the sky! You're not the only ones trying to get out with civvies! B-2 Bombers are planning on glassing this place!"

Itami then spoke up, "We have a priority one package to extract - we need that evac!"

"We'll find another way - hold your position."

The booming voice finally realized himself. A bald, tall, large head priest.

"Your aggression towards the Cross Army will not go unpunished!!!" Head Priest Knowles boomed. His anger veins showing on his bald head. A nun next to him named Silvia stood nearby.

"Huh... It's the Great Value Mr. Clean." Vincent joked causing Chris, Kevin, Stepan, Anthony, and David to stiffen a laugh.

Their laughter quickly silenced as Knowles used stone magic to cover himself to the point he appeared 12"1' in his stone armor form. Or Goliath form. But to the UNE Marines and Kurono, it was a stone Juggernaut with a sword.

"Oh..." Sousse muttered.

"...shit." Keith finished.

On a rooftop a girl with a bow was seen looking at everyone on the ground level. Her name is Ai and she's the 8th Apostle.

Thankfully and hopefully Command is heard on the radio, "X-Ray, your evac is on its way."

The sounds of gunfire and manically laughter are heard.

"Dammit, Mina!" Anthony and Itami shouted in annoyance.

Before the group could engage. Their evac is heard on the radio, "X-Ray. This is Chief Warrant Officer-2 Tom McNamara, check your six, we are heading on your coordinates in a CH-53E Super Stallion."

"Roger that! Good to hear from you, ya Texan badass!" David said as he and the ones with guns fire on Knowles.

"Direct fire support to cover my arrival. Delta squadron is on station with a B-2 Bomber with napalm bombs, thermite bombs and white phosphorous bombs." Tom spoke.

Vincent nodded taking pot shots at Ai, "Got it. X-Ray out. Yoo! Mark that bald bastard!"

Suddenly, running and killing multiple Cross Army Knights was Mina. While carrying the body of one the people that tortured Kurono. Cyprus.

"Wait for me, guys!" She waved.

"Dammit Mina! C'mon!" Stepan yelled.

Yoo laser pointed at Knowles, "Marking coordinates. Delta squadron, burn 'em up."

Delta Squadron spoke on the radio, "Roger X-Ray, Target Run, get your people back."

Itami sees Tom's CH-53E, "CH-53E's here!"

Knowles sends stone spikes that blow up the wall to the harbor, allowing the group, along with the Marines and Soldiers and Mina to get to the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion.

"Get your asses to the chopper!" Chris shouted, "Incoming, danger close!"

"Move, move it!" Vulcan called.

"Go, to the chopper!" Yoo shouted while throwing a grenade.

"Get in!" Irina and her sister Laura

Everyone jumps into the CH-53E, and the airstrike of B-2 Bomber that Yoo called blows up the entire village, sending some Cross Army knights bodies flying just as Anthony and Keith jumps in. The CH-53E starts to fly away to rejoin the main forces back in the main base.

"That was so much fun! I killed a lot of Crossy!" Mina said as she lifts Cyprus who looks dead. "Oh. He is dead. Ah well!" She and Lily kicked the body out.

"You have a peculiar sense of fun, Mina. But I'm glad you made it out in one piece. That airstrike should buy us some breathing room." Kurono said tired.

As the CH-53E flies away from the chaos of Alsace Village, the group and the rescued adventurers can finally catch their breaths.

"What a ride... Glad it's over." Simon said. Then a light arrow nearly hits him. He and a few others look over the ramp to see Ai who was smiling while on fire then falls in the collapsed building she stood on.

"...Fuck me this entire thing was insane." Alicia muttered.

As the CH-53E Super Stallion ascends away from the fiery remnants of Alsace Village, the group takes a moment to catch their breath and process the chaotic battle they just endured. The sky outside is a canvas of explosions and tracer fire, a stark reminder of the intensity of the conflict they are leaving behind.

Mina, still exhilarated from the fight, bounces on her feet, her eyes shining with the thrill of combat. "Did you see that? We took out so many of them! And that airstrike... absolutely perfect timing."

Keith leans back against the side of the helicopter, wiping sweat and grime from his forehead. "Yeah, it was something alright. But let's not forget, we lost good people out there too. Hotel Six went down hard."

David, sitting next to Keith, nods solemnly. "We did what we could. We got most of the civilians out, and we managed to hold the line. That's something."

Kurono, still catching his breath, looks around at the group, his face a mix of exhaustion and relief. "We need to regroup and rearm. This fight is far from over, and we need to be ready for whatever comes next."

The mood inside the helicopter shifts to a somber reflection on the battle's cost. Injured soldiers receive medical attention, while others check their weapons and gear, preparing for the next phase of their mission.

Chris, who had been silent, finally speaks up. "We made it out, but Alsace Village... it's gone. We have to make sure their sacrifice wasn't in vain."

Anthony, nodding in agreement, adds, "We need to hit them harder. Show the Cross Army that they can't just push us around."

Vincent, reloading his weapon, looks at the group with determination. "Next time, we bring the fight to them. No more playing defense."

The CH-53E flies on, carrying the weary but determined group towards their next challenge. The fight for freedom and survival continues, and the heroes of X-Ray team are ready to face whatever comes their way, united by their shared experiences and strengthened by their resolve.

As they fly towards the safety of their main base, the team reflects on the importance of their mission and the bonds they've forged through battle. The night may be filled with flames and chaos, but their spirit burns brighter, fueled by the hope of a better future and the determination to see it through to the end.
