Chapter 56
Meanwhile with US President Lincoln Clinton, Russian President Victor Gorbachev, and Chinese Madame President Xiang Meilan, they sat around a round table within Moscow. The room was filled with tension and apprehension as the three leaders deliberated over their next move in the war against the Cross Army. Especially the reports of the deaths of their fellow armed forces during the Staging Area attack.
"The reports are alarming. It's clear that the enemy is growing more bold and dangerous with each passing day." Xiang said.
"It is indeed troubling," Gorbachev said with a frown, "The death of our troops is a grievous loss. We must redouble our efforts to defend against the enemy and avenge those who have fallen."
"There's no doubt about it. The situation is becoming increasingly dire," Lincoln said, his voice heavy with concern. "The enemy has been targeting strategic locations and resources, and their ability to strike with devastating force is a significant threat to our efforts. We need to take action to address the growing crisis."
"Do you have a plan?" Xiang asked.
"As a matter of fact, I do," Lincoln said with a nod. "We need to strengthen our defenses and increase our offensive capabilities. We can't allow the enemy to dictate the terms of the battle. We need to be proactive and take the fight to them."
Gorbachev leaned forward in his seat, his eyes narrowed with intensity. "What do you propose?" he asked.
"I've already taken steps to bolster our defenses and improve our ability to counterattack," Lincoln said. "But we need more. We need to launch an all-out offensive against the enemy. We need to strike at their heart and weaken their resolve. We can't afford to let them continue their rampage unchecked."
"An all-out offensive is a dangerous prospect," Gorbachev said, his tone cautious. "Are you certain it is the best course of action?"
"No after thinking about it just now," Lincoln said firmly. "If we are going to stop this enemy, we need to go on the offensive. We can't just sit back and hope for the best. We need to take the fight to them and show them we are not afraid."
"It is a risky strategy," Xiang said, her expression thoughtful. "But I believe it is the right course of action. We cannot allow the enemy to gain the upper hand. We must seize the initiative and regain control of the situation."
"Off topic, what are the new names for your countries?" Lincoln asked the two leaders, "Because both your citizens and the other UNE leaders are still waiting. Even when we were still on Earth years prior to coming here."
Gorbachev raised an eyebrow, "Russia will be called the Russian Repubilc. And China will be the People's Republic of China. Why are you asking us this?"
Lincoln raised his hands in defense, "Just asking is all. Plus, those names sound like the ones the Ultranationalists used during the Second Russian and Chinese Civil War."
Gorbachev and Xiang flinched remembering in taking part in that war and siding with the Loyalists who are a Democratic governing political party and national army who defeated the Ultranationalists.
"So, I see." Gorbachev simply said.
Lincoln coughed, "Anyway, I have better names for both since NATO, ASEAN and Ukraine forces did heavily supported the Loyalists the against the Ultranationalist rebels."
Both the Russian and Chinese Presidents raise their eyebrows in surprise and intrigue.
"Unified States of Russia and United Provinces of China. Or USR and UPC for short." Lincoln said.
"Hmm, the Unified States of Russia..." Gorbachev pondered, "Yes, I can see the appeal."
"United Provinces of China... it has a nice ring to it," Xiang remarked with a smile.
Lincoln clapped his hands, "Wonderful. Now, shall we get back to the business at hand? I have a plan to discuss."
Gorbachev and Xiang exchanged nods before turning their attention back to the President, eager to hear his proposal. Lincoln wasted no time getting down to business, launching into a detailed explanation of his strategy. As the three leaders worked to chart a path forward in the war against the Cross Army, they were determined to overcome any challenges that lay ahead.
Just then, a FSO Agent knocked on the door to the room. Gorbachev let him enter as the agent spoke, "Mr. President, the leaders of the Feline Empire, Kitsune Empire(Queen Mizuki), Soronox Union(Katherine R. Brussett), Mermaid kingdom, Elven Kingdom, Dragon Kingdom(Queen Flair), Harpy Kingdom, Ant Kingdom, Spider Kingdom, Wasps Kingdom, Bee Kingdom, Bali Kingdom(Head Mage Laura Kaufman), Barbarian tribesmen, Wolf Demi-Humans tribesmen, Goblin kingdom, Orc tribesmen, Lamia kingdom, Vampire kingdom, Knights of the Kingdom of Righteous, Rabbit kingdom, and the Cyclops kingdom have come in wanting to provide aid or ideas."
Lincoln and the others were surprised by this.
"Well, send them in." Lincoln ordered and the FSO agent left.
Moments later, many different races came in. From the Mermaids to the Dragons, the Elves, Harpies, and the rest.
"I didn't expect them to all be here." Xiang muttered.
"Me neither." Gorbachev added.
"Nor I." Lincoln said.
"Well, well, well, what have we here?" The Goblin King asked, "Three leaders from UNE. Good to meet you three again."
"It is good to see you as well, Goblin King," Gorbachev said, greeting the goblin leader politely. "What brings you all here?"
"We wish to offer our assistance in the fight against the Cross Army," The Vampire Queen said, her eyes flashing with determination. "They are a threat to all of us, and we must stand together if we are to prevail."
"And what of your own kingdoms and provinces? Aren't they threatened as well?" Lincoln asked Mizuki, Katherine and the Feline Kingdom king and queen.
"They are protected," The Harpy King spoke for them, "However, if we are to win this war, we must join forces again."
"We understand your concerns," The Elven Queen said, her voice calm and measured remembering the first time meeting them when they were under threat with the former Qingdao Kingdom years prior and the nations from New Zealand, Philippines, Botswana, Russia, China, Australia, South Korea, Canada, Mexico, the US, Cuba, Jamaica and Japan were willing to protect them. "But our allied armies are strong, and we are confident that we can defend our own territories while also contributing to the effort to defeat the Cross Army."
"Indeed," Queen Flair rumbled, her voice resonating with power. "We will not sit idly by and allow our allies to fight this battle alone. The dragon kingdom will be there every step of the way."
"As will the Cyclops Kingdom." The Cyclops King stated.
"The Bali kingdom, the Mermaids and the Spider Kingdom will not leave our allies to fend for themselves," Laura said, standing straight. "We will lend our support, and together, we will emerge victorious like always."
Lincoln, Gorbachev and Xiang smiled at their allies' words of encouragement and reassurance.
"Thank you, all of you," Lincoln said, his voice thick with emotion. "We could not ask for more loyal or steadfast allies. Your support means more than you know, and we are honored to fight by your side."
The room was filled with a sense of unity and determination as the leaders of various kingdoms and provinces pledged their support to the UNE leaders. Lincoln, Gorbachev, and Xiang exchanged grateful nods, deeply moved by the solidarity and commitment of their allies.
"We are stronger together," Gorbachev said, his voice resonating with conviction. "With our combined forces and unwavering resolve, we will overcome any challenge that stands in our way."
Xiang nodded in agreement, her gaze steady and determined. "Together, we will defend our homes, protect our people, and ensure a future free from tyranny and oppression."
Lincoln smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "Let us stand as one and face our enemies with courage and determination. Together, we will prevail."
As the leaders and their allies continued to discuss their plans and strategies for the upcoming battles, there was a sense of hope and optimism in the air. Despite the challenges ahead, they knew that as long as they stood united, they would emerge victorious.
With their alliance strengthened and their resolve fortified, the leaders of the UNE and their allies prepared to face whatever challenges the future might bring. Together, they would write the next chapter in the history of their world, one marked by courage, resilience, and unity.
Back at Anthony's estate, his wives Miliy, Flit, Dar, Reata, Farly, Vem, Yoa, Geert, and Volet were having a get together with Sienna Khan(David's wife), Mylia Kravchuk(Stepan's wife), Alita Kravchuk(Artem's wife), and Jacob's two dragon wives, three spider wives, mermaid wife, and his four human wives.
The get together was basically Marine wives either chatting or talking about their husbands and children. The children were playing with the Maids and Butlers.
"How's life in the URK military, Mylia?" Miliy asked.
"It's been stressful, but I'm managing while on maternity leave," Mylia replied while she rubbed her pregnant belly.
"Same here," Sienna added, rubbing her own pregnant belly. "David had to do some paperwork for the 108th USMC Battalion and the 23rd Battalion of the URK Army before he was deployed. Although, the 23rd Battalion got ambushed by the Cross Army when they were trying to get supplies to a city."
The others were shocked and horrified hearing that.
"Are you serious?!" Volet asked, "Are they okay? Did they survive?"
"They survived the ambush thanks to the 108th, 110th Russian Marine Corps and 123rd JGSDF. It's a miracle." Sienna answered, sighing in relief, "Otherwise, David would've lost it and go on a rampage. The 23rd is basically a new unit and had little to any combat experience when they fought the Cross Army. However, the 23rd did prove that they have the fighting spirit of a lion."
"That's true," Mylia added, "Alita and I were watching the news when it happened. Stepan was pissed."
"As was Artem. He nearly hung a Cross Army knight who tried to kidnap a demi-human civilian." Alita said, shuddering remembering how her husband almost broke the man's neck from the reports.
"I'm glad that's over with. But what about you two?" Reata asked Jacob's wives, "I know that taking care of 90+ children been busy too."
"It's been quite a ride, I'll say. But, the kids have been good. They're growing fast too." Jacob's dragon wife, Yacuo, replied, "Jacob's been doing a lot from his last video call with us, and he's been getting along with his friends, which is great."
"Indeed. He has also made some new friends too," His mermaid wife, Mearra, added.
"Speaking of, have you two heard from him? We haven't talked to him for a while." Flit asked the mermaid and dragon.
"He just messaged us that he was going to go after a commander," The one of Jacob's spider demi-human wives named Tera said.
"A commander? Who's that?" Flit asked.
"He said it was classified." Jacob's other spider wife, Talia, responded.
"What does that mean?" Sienna asked.
"We're not sure. He didn't say much." Yacuo answered.
"I see." Volet said, "Well, we can only hope for the best." She sips her tea.
"Speaking about husbands..." Sienna smugly spoke.
Miliy, Flit, Dar, Reata, Farly, Vem, Yoa, Geert, and Volet took out their smartphones and a picture of Anthony doing a peace sign with the caption saying, 'Hope you all doing amazing!' with background of Vincent, Kevin and Chris posing the same.
"Anthony sent us a picture and a text message yesterday," Miliy said, "I miss him."
"Me too." Dar added, "But I hope he gets his deployment done so he can come home soon."
"Agreed." Yoa said and the others agreed.
The group continued their conversations as they enjoyed each other's company, sharing stories and laughter. Even though their husbands were off fighting, they knew that the love and support they provided for their families were invaluable and would continue to help them through the difficult times.
The atmosphere at Anthony's estate was filled with warmth and camaraderie as the wives of the deployed Marines gathered together, finding solace and strength in each other's company. Despite the challenges and uncertainties they faced, they remained resilient, united by their love for their husbands and their shared experiences as military spouses.
As they exchanged stories and updates on their husbands' deployments, their bond grew stronger, providing comfort and reassurance in the face of adversity. Whether they were discussing the bravery of their husbands in battle or reminiscing about happier times, their solidarity was unwavering, a testament to the power of friendship and community.
Though they missed their husbands dearly, they found solace in each other, knowing that they were not alone in their journey. Together, they faced the challenges of military life with courage and determination, supporting each other every step of the way.
As the evening drew to a close, the wives bid farewell to each other, their hearts filled with gratitude for the strength and resilience they found in their shared sisterhood. Though their husbands were far away, they knew that they were never truly alone, for they had each other to lean on in times of need.
Meanwhile en route to Alsace Village, Stepan, David, Chris, Alicia, Kevin, Anthony, Vincent, Artem, Keith, Itami, and the other Marines and Soldiers were camped out five miles from the village.
Stepan was looking at a satellite overview of the area from a tablet. Keith, Alicia and a few of the URK Army and Soronox Union Army soldiers were amazed at the level of technology the UNE had.
Some even muttered their jealousy and envy.
"This is quite impressive, Major Kravchuk." Keith said, looking at the satellite image as well, "How did you manage to get these?"
"Simple, Brussett. Our military's satellites," Stepan answered, "However, our satellites is a bit updated and advance compared to the civilian ones. We also have some in space for security reasons."
"Interesting." Alicia said.
"Now then, this village is located near between a large river so crossing it would be difficult for land vehicles, but our amphibious assault vehicles will work. But we still need to make contact with the local populace. It will be dangerous." Stepan explained, "Our recon scouts have spotted the enemy 700km heading to Alsace."
"I'm sure they're preparing for an attack," Anthony commented, "However, the enemy is clearly not expecting us to arrive. We must use this opportunity to our advantage."
"Yes, indeed." David nodded in agreement.
"The plan is simple," Stepan said, "We will have one of us head to village first to show that we're here to help and defend them."
"That would be a suicide mission," Kevin said, "And we can't afford to lose any troops, much less, one of us."
"Not exactly." Stepan grinned and brought out a small bee-sized drone, "This little drone is the perfect choice for recon missions. It's quiet, it's small, and can fly for hours without recharging. I had the Koreans send me this, so I can use it for missions. Plus, it can take pictures and video as well."
"In other words, if one of us goes there. We'll be under close watch the entire time or we can spy on what the locals say or think when one of us meets them." Anthony summarized, "Good thinking."
"Thank you, Ant." Stepan thanked him, "We'll be using this to scout the area, but if we're spotted, I'm sure they will open fire with either a volley of arrows or magic. Or both."
"So, who's going?" Chris asked.
"Me." David answered and everyone looked at him.
"I also volunteer to go." Mina said grinning like the crazed petite woman she is.
"Oh no, you don't, Takahashi." Vincent said, stopping her, "You're not going."
"Why not?" Mina asked.
"Because you're crazy," Vincent said.
"Says the guy who's obsessed with killing army of crazed religious knights." Mina retorted.
"Hey, that's not a healthy obsession. You know, I have nightmares sometimes." Vincent retorted back, "Anyways, I'll go instead."
"No. You're not going either." Anthony said, stopping his younger brother.
"Why not?" Vincent asked.
"You're my brother. So, it's up to me." Anthony replied, "Plus, I know you will go out of control if you spot the Cross Army's Commander. So, it'll be David, Keith, Alicia, and Mina."
"If I had to take a guess." Itami said, "Fernandes for the USMC's involvement, Brussett for the Soronox Union, Alicia because of the unity of both humans and demi-humans in the URK, and Takahashi for the Japanese military. Correct?"
"Yep." David nodded, "So, I'll be heading in."
"Alright." Stepan nodded and gave David the mini-drone, "Be careful. I'll be monitoring you from here."
"Roger." David said and headed out with Keith, Alicia and Mina following behind.
As David, Keith, Alicia, and Mina set out towards Alsace Village, their mission weighed heavily on their minds. The stakes were high, and the possibility of encountering the enemy loomed ever-present in their thoughts. However, they remained focused on their objective, determined to make contact with the local populace and assess the situation on the ground.
As they approached the village, they moved with caution, keeping a vigilant eye out for any signs of danger. The drone provided valuable reconnaissance, allowing them to scout the area from a safe distance and gather crucial information about enemy movements and positions.
Back at Alsace Village, the place was well fortified with barbed wires, high walls, watch towers, and the Guild building was blacken duo to Kurono strengthening it with his magic.
Sousse(who is a Slime) a thief was scouting the oncoming Cross Army, Mozlan a skeleton dark magician who was at the guild, Vulcan a Werewolf was ordering, Irina, her sister Laura and Hannah(their elves) were preparing both buildings and defences.
The others like Nyarko, Nino, Aten, Claydor, and Harry were busy with other tasks.
Kurono is currently with Simon giving the short elf trap-(I MEAN!) boy firearm ideas. Mainly, Kurono wants him to make a machine gun.
Normally, only weapon maniacs know about guns. Which is very worrisome for UNE and URK troops. However, Simon is the only one invented a gunpowder type gun.
Kurono looked at the drawing that Simon did, "Hmm... You made a semi-automatic rifle."
"It took me a while, but I got it." Simon said, "However, I'm not really sure that it'll fire."
"Nah, I'm sure it will." Kurono said, "It looks pretty solid."
"Really?" Simon asked, looking up at him.
"Absolutely," Kurono replied confidently, inspecting the design more closely. "Your craftsmanship is exceptional, Simon. I have no doubt that this rifle will work flawlessly once it's assembled and tested."
Simon's eyes lit up with pride at Kurono's praise. "Thank you, Kurono. I've put a lot of thought and effort into this design, so it's reassuring to hear your confidence in it."
"I have every confidence in your abilities," Kurono assured him, placing a hand on Simon's shoulder. "You're a talented inventor, and I'm grateful to have you on our side."
Simon smiled gratefully, feeling a sense of validation and encouragement from Kurono's words. With renewed determination, he returned his focus to the rifle design, eager to see his creation come to life.
Meanwhile, as David, Keith, Alicia, and Mina approached Alsace Village, they maintained a cautious pace, wary of any potential threats lurking in the shadows. The drone buzzed overhead, providing valuable intel on the village's defenses and the movements of the enemy forces.
As they reached the outskirts of the village, they paused to assess the situation, their senses heightened as they prepared to make contact with the locals. The tension in the air was palpable, but they remained resolute, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their mission to gather information and establish a connection with the villagers.
As the four made it towards the village gate, Claydor spotted them from the wall and allowed them in. But he stared at them due to their clothes and gear like David's Woodland MARPAT and gear, Alicia's Woodland BDU and gear, Keith's SU uniform, cape and family emblem, and Mina's Type II Flecktarn camo, gear and katana.
"So far, so good." David said as they moved through the crowd. The four did get looks from everyone around them. They were used to this though.
"Yeah. No arrows flying at us." Keith commented, "I'll admit, it's a bit strange seeing everyone like this."
"Tell me about it." Alicia said, "But it's not all that bad. They seem like a nice bunch."
"Mm-hmm. Very hospitable." Mina agreed.
"I'll say," David said as they reached the Guild, "Now let's just hope we can have a nice and civil conversation with whoever's in charge."
With that, the four stepped inside the guild, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their mission. However, despite their determination, the question lingered in their minds: How will the locals respond to their presence?
Irina, Nyarko, and Fiona were the first ones to spot the four. Well, more like spot Alicia as she was the tallest(6'3") among the four. They were shocked, especially Nyarko and Fiona as they never seen a female tiger demi-human as tall and muscular as a man.
"Oh my..." Nyarko gasped in shock as she looked up at the woman who was probably taller than Kurono, "Is that a new type of demi-human?"
"I'm not sure," Fiona said, staring in awe. "She looks like a tiger, but she's also wearing clothes. And I've never seen anyone like her before. Or the ones with her." She then looked at Mina's eyes, "But that girl has the same shape and color as Kurono. Maybe they are related or from the same village? Or tribe?"
'What the hell are they?' Irina thought in her head.
"Well, this is certainly a surprise." Kurono commented as he entered the room. "I wasn't expecting compa-" He stopped mid sentence as he saw David's uniform first. 'WHAT THE HELL!? An American?!' His gaze then went towards Mina as she also stared in shock at him too.
Both silently stared at one another making people look at them. Lily came down to see what all the silence was about to see Mina bear hugging Kurono.
And her jealousy(Yandere) took over and approach the two with a murderous look, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?"
Everyone was surprised at the young lady's actions. Kurono, being the older and mature one, was more or less shocked, but he did notice the jealous look on her face, which made him sigh and smile as he tried to pry off Mina. But the petite woman has the strength to pull a fully loaded HUMVEE.
"Okay. Okay. I think that's enough hugging." Kurono said, "I need to breathe."
"But I missed you since 2019." Mina retorted.
"True, but still," Kurono replied, "So, how about you let go-since 2019? What year is it currently?"
"2035." David answered shocking Kurono.
'2035?! How long I've been gone and died from Earth?!' Kurono thought, but Lily flew up to the two and changed her appearance from her child like body to her adult body surprising the four.
"Kurono. Do you know her?" Lily asked glaring at the petite woman.
"Oh, yeah." Kurono nodded, "Sorry, Lily. This is my cousin, Mina Takahashi. She was the second youngest among my cousins."
https://youtu.be/JALAKvn9tSY
"What?" Both David and Lily questioned in disbelief.
"Second youngest?" Mina asked, "But I'm 22 now."
"Wait what? That means, I've been gone for 16 years?" Kurono asked.
"And we have a lot of catching up." Mina said and let go, "By the way." She gives Lily a Death glare making her back away a bit, "Who the hell are you?"
"Lily. I'm Kurono's partner." Lily replied with a hint of fear and shocking Keith.
"Oh, really?" Mina's voice changed, but it was still sweet, cute and murderous , "That's great." She looked at Kurono, "But does she have a family name?"
"Um... no. She doesn't." Kurono answered.
"Before we can reminisce more. Let's chat in private." David said to Lily and Kurono.
Lily went with David and Keith and Mina went with Kurono to tell him what happened after he died back in Japan of 2019.
In a room with Lily, David and Keith. The two asked her about the orb she is holding. She denied it but Keith knew it was the stolen Fairy Queen's Treasure. But David did the smart thing.
"If you're not going to give the treasure back. I have a proposal for you." David said, making her ears perked up.
"What?" She asked.
"Well, if you help us out and help defeat the Cross Army, we'll take you to the same country that Kurono was born." David replied.
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Lily asked.
"What I mean is," David explained, "We'll take you to what is basically a different and advance place. After all, we're not from here. Minus Keith here."
"Wait, so, you're not from this world?" Lily asked David and he nodded, "Are you... aliens?"
"No. I'm human." David answered.
"Then what country were you from?" Lily asked.
"A place called United States of America or US for short," David answered, "I'm from there. And Kurono was born in Japan who is an ally with the US."
"Okay. So, I help you out and you'll take me to this place." Lily said and held her hand, "It's a deal."
"Deal." David shook her hand and pulled her close giving her a Death glare that'll probably give demons nightmares, "But if you double-cross us. We will rip and tear you apart while keeping you alive. Are we clear?"
"Crystal." Lily replied shaking and sweating bullets.
"Good. Now, go and find some clothes." David said, making her nod and leave the room.
"Why did you do that?" Keith asked the Marine.
"Brussett. I've seen her look before. And I'm married to someone in her caliber of 'Protect my love'." David said as Keith nodded.
"Ah, I see." Keith nodded, "I've seen my girlfriend act the same way when she found out I was a Major of the Soronox Union Army. But her reaction was different."
"What did she do?" David asked.
"Well, she didn't believe that I was a Major at first." Keith answered, "But, she did threaten to beat me up if I was lying. But once I showed her my uniform and cape, she accepted it. Though, she did try to get me to quit the military."
"Sounds like a nice girl." David said, "Well, we should probably check in on Mina and Kurono. I want to hear his side of the story."
"Yeah." Keith agreed and the two headed out to find the other pair.
As David and Keith made their way to find Mina and Kurono, the atmosphere in Alsace Village remained tense with the unexpected arrivals stirring up curiosity and apprehension among the residents. Meanwhile, in another part of the guild, Mina and Kurono were catching up on lost time.
"So, what happened after I... passed away?" Kurono asked, his tone somber as he listened intently to Mina's recount of the events following his death.
Mina took a deep breath, her expression turning solemn as she delved into the details. "It wasn't easy, Kurono. After you died, there was chaos in the family. Your parents were devastated, and your sister... they struggled to cope with the loss. I tried my best to support them, but it was hard. We were all grieving in our own way."
Kurono's heart ached as he listened, guilt weighing heavily on him for leaving his loved ones behind. "I'm sorry, Mina-chan. I never meant to cause you all so much pain."
Mina reached out and gently placed a hand on Kurono's shoulder, offering him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Kurono-kun. We all understood that you had your own battles to fight. And now that you're here, we can focus on making new memories together."
Kurono nodded, a sense of gratitude washing over him for having such understanding and supportive family members. "Thank you, Mina-chan. I'm grateful to have you by my side."
"Always, Kurono-kun," Mina said, her voice filled with sincerity. "We're family, after all. And family sticks together through thick and thin."
As they continued their conversation, David and Keith entered the room, their presence drawing Mina and Kurono's attention. David's expression was serious, indicating that they had important matters to discuss.
"Hey, guys," David greeted them, his tone grave. "We need to talk."
Kurono and Mina exchanged a knowing glance, sensing the gravity of the situation. They nodded in acknowledgment, ready to hear what David had to say.
"Firstly, Kurono," David began, "We've made a deal with Lily regarding the Fairy Queen's Treasure. She's agreed to help us defeat the Cross Army in exchange for being taken to our world."
Kurono's eyebrows furrowed in surprise at the news. "I see. That's... unexpected. But if it helps us in our mission, then I suppose it's for the best."
"Agreed," Mina chimed in, her expression determined. "We need all the allies we can get if we're going to take down the Cross Army and bring peace to this land."
"Exactly," David said, nodding in agreement. "But we need to remain cautious. We can't afford to let our guard down, especially with Lily. She may have agreed to help us, but we can't be certain of her true intentions."
Kurono and Mina nodded in understanding, fully aware of the risks involved in trusting someone like Lily. They knew that they would need to proceed with caution and keep a close eye on her actions to ensure that she didn't betray them.
"Understood," Kurono said, his expression serious. "We'll keep a close watch on her and be prepared for any eventualities."
With their plan in motion and their resolve strengthened, Kurono, Mina, David, and Keith prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their mission to defeat the Cross Army and bring peace to Alsace Village.
