True to his word, Chat came to see Marinette the next night. He came every night for the next few months,  and as time went by so Marinette and Chat's love grew stronger for one another.
        One year later, Chat took Marinette out to dinner. He asks, "Marinette will you marry me?"

    "Yes, I will!"  Marinette says.

       Marinette smiles as this time Chat places the engagement ring on her finger.  Then, they go back to her house.  Once inside, they find out her mother was in a car accident and badly hurt. The crash took her mother's right arm and her sight.  The doctors seem to think her mother is eligible for a fake arm. As for sight, short of a miracle, they do not expect her to regain it.

      Marinette is sad for her mother, so his father, and Chat.  The young couple decides due to her mother's sudden health changes to have a small ceremony instead of the large one they originally planned.

    Four months later, Chat and Marinette are married in a small ceremony with her parents, Alya, and  Nino, Kim, and Alix, Chloe and Nathaniel, Luka and Kagami, Max and Rose, and last of all the pastor, Ivan and his wife, Mylene are the only guests in attendance.  The others were unable to come since the whole event was rather sudden.  Chat and Marinette did not mind as long as they had each other.


     Six months later, "Chat remember these?" Marinette asks as she holds up the two notes from him to her, one on red construction paper that a red rose shape as part of it, and the other a letter on stationery with red roses for the border.

     "Yes, but what of it?" Chat asks.

     "Well, the day you sent me the card was a day I felt rather sad, but it was also the day I knew you were the one for me,"  Marinette says.

   "Wow, my princess that is great," Chat says.

    "The day you gave me the other note, and the promise ring was the day  I knew our love would last for all time,"  Marinette remarks.

      "What about the day I gave you the engagement ring or the day we got married?"  Chat asks.

  "The day you gave me the engagement ring was the day I knew we would never part, and the day you gave me the wedding band was the day I knew we would be together for the rest of our lives,"  Marinette says.

     "Wow, that is great!  Just think, all this started with a simple Valentine's  Day card,"  Chat says.

  "Simple, what you calling simple, mister?  I will   have you know the gesture was sweet on your part, but it certainly got my attention,"  Marinette says.

     "Marinette, that is the silliest thing, I have ever heard,"  Chat remarks.

      "Well, silly or not, it means more to me than you can imagine,"  Marinette says.

   "You know though what means more to me than anything else?"  Marinette asks.

   "No, but I am sure you will tell me,"   Chat replies.

  "It is you, Chat Noir!"  Marinette says.

   "Awe, that is so sweet, princess," Chat says.

    "Chat, I have a little kitten inside me,"  Marinette says to her husband.

    "Wait, are you sure?"  Chat asks.

"Yes, I am sure,"  Marinette says.

  "Wow, Princess, I am going to be a father! This is amazing, and thank you, princess," Chat says.

   "Thank you, for what?  I mean you did help a little," Marinette says.

    "I know, but I am so happy to be able to be a father,"  Chat says with more excitement than Marinette has seen in a long time.  

    Marinette hugs him and says, "Silly, kitty."
