So, today is my birthday, so thought of giving you guys an update.

Kavya's POV

I woke up to see that it had been half an hour since we slept.

I looked at him sleeping peacefully.

I could not believe he is here and we are laying in each other's arms.

My breathe hitched when he said that he loved me, but I masked it with my anger.

He fought with his demons for me.

He is so possessive and expressive in love. Sohum was not possessive like this and he never expressed anything, so I am feeling these emotions for the first time and frankly I am liking it.

I kissed his forehead and got up and went in the hall and called Tanisha.

'Hello! Is Tarun with you?' I said as soon as she picked up the call.

'And, before you say anything, I want to tell you that, we know everything so don't lie,' I said further.

'We' means you and handsome?You both are already 'we' now?' Tanisha teased.

'Keep quiet and come home in half an hour and don't eat anything from outside. I will prepare dinner,' I said.

'By the where are you guys?' I asked.

'We both had just entered to watch a movie,' she said.

'Okay. Enjoy then but don't eat anything from outside,' I said and cut the call and went in the kitchen and decided to make rice and paneer curry for all of us.

Even though, Kabir said that we will go out today, but Tarun has already eaten lunch from outside because, if he lied to us so that I can get ready and me and Kabir can spend time alone then he has no friends here, and he has been roaming around all day and maybe, he even had lunch from outside.

'Why did you leave me alone in the bedroom?' I got startled hearing Kabir's voice as I was busy in washing the rice.

'Because, I guess Tarun had lunch from outside so I don't want him to eat outside food two times in a day.' I washed the rice, put it in the cooker and then pour water in it and put it on the gas and put it on the flame.

'You talked with Tarun?' he asked.

'No. I talked with Tanisha. They were going to watch a movie,' I told him as I started cutting onions.

'They are together?' He was surprised.

'Do you think something is going on between them?' I asked him.

'I think something is going on between them or it can start soon,' I continued without even hearing his reply.

'It totally depends on princess and Tarun,' he said.

'Should we play a matchmaker and unite them?' I asked as he wrapped his hands around my stomach.

'Kabir! What are you doing?' I screeched loudly.

'Loving you,' he said as he nuzzled my neck.

Even though I am married but I never had this.

Before marriage, I used to watch movies and think that all this happens after marriage but after marriage I thought all of this only happens in books and movies.

'Kabir! Leave! Let me work,' I said but instead of leaving me, he bit my neck making me scream loudly.

I stopped my cutting and slightly pushed him, then I turned around but before I could say anything, he pulled me into his arms and again bit my neck.

'What are you doing?' I shouted while trying to push him, but he didn't budge.

'Marking you,' he said and again went to biting me making me call out his name.

'Ka...bir,' I moaned while he was licking the part he bit.

I held the kitchen counter for support as he increased his pace making me close my eyes and feel him.

'Aah,' he again bit me. I pushed him as I heard the sound of pressure cooker.

God! The atmosphere around me had became so hot.

I wrapped my hair in a bun and turned around and started cutting onions.

'You are looking so sexy with my mark on your neck,' he said as I looked at him smiling.

I went, almost ran in the bedroom to see the mark.

I stood in front of the mirror and noticed the mark he has given me.

He marked me as his.

Again, I felt his hand around my stomach.

'I love my mark on you,' he said as he touched the mark he had given me.

'Now, let me go and you will not come near me till I finish cooking,' I pushed him and started going outside the hall but then he held my wrist and pulled me towards him making me turn around.

'Leave me,' I tried to push him but he didnt budge as he wrapped his hands around my back and pulled me more close to him.

'As you tied your hair in a bun, I saw your back and now I don't want to let you go. You are looking so beautiful from behind also, baby,' he said and kissed my nose.

'I tied my bun because I was feeling hot, but I didn't knew that someone will go crazy again,' I said with a sigh.

'Do you want Tarun to see me like this?' I asked.

'No,' he shouted.

'Then leave me. I will prepare dinner and change into long kurti and leggings,' I said and he instantly left me making me laugh.

I went in the kitchen and started cutting the remaining onions as he came and stood beside me.

'If you will touch me now, I will not leave you,' I showed him the knife and he backed away.

'God! You are already trying to kill me?' he joked and again I showed him the knife.

'By the way, where is Raj?' I asked.

'I told aunty to take him to her house as it's the weekend. We have to leave tomorrow. I have to bring Raj back by tomorrow evening as he has school on Monday and I also have to go to hotel on Monday,' he said.

'What if I want to stay here for some more days?' I teased.

'Why? You will come tomorrow, right?' he became tensed.

'Yes. We will come,' I said. He seemed tensed so I didn't tease him anymore.

'We?'

'Tanisha will also be coming with us for few days as she took a holiday and we decided to explore Mumbai. I will not join school till Tanisha is with me,' I told him.

'You both have became very good friends, right?' he asked.

'Yes. She is a sweetheart,' I said and he smiled.

'Anyways, it's good. Princess also needs some time off. She is always working,' he said making me smile.

When she is with me, I will try to play a matchmaker for Tarun and Tanisha. I have seen something brewing between then but maybe, they have not noticed it yet.

After preparing dinner, I changed myself into long white kurti with black leggings and even removed all the accessories and came in the hall where Kabir was sitting on the sofa.

He looked at me and smiled. I went towards the sofa but before I could sit on the sofa, he pulled me into his lap.

'Kabir,' I screamed while he adjusted me properly on his lap. I thought I was loosing balance, so to compose myself I wrapped my hands around his neck.

'You are totally crazy,' I said making him laugh.

'You are looking beautiful without makeup and accessories also,' he said and gave a peck on my cheek.

I had wore a turtle neck kurti to hide the mark Kabir gave me. I have read these in stories but I am experiencing it for the first time.

'Kabir. I want to ask you something,'

'Yes, baby?' he asked. I was still not used to him calling me baby.

'I will feel guilty if I suddenly stopped wearing mangalsutra and sindoor,' I shared my thoughts.

'Do you want to wear it?' he asked.

'It doesn't feel right to wear mangalsutra and sindoor in the name of Sohum, if I am with you,' I said

'But, I am feeling like I am suddenly throwing away Sohum after I got you,' I continued.

'What do you want?' he asked.

'I don't know. I am confused,' I replied.

'Look, you can wear the sindoor and mangalsutra of Sohum's name, yes, I will feel bad but I will adjust it as I understand, but you should wear it out of love, not out of guilt,' he said.

'Till now, you were wearing it out of love for him, but as you said just now that you are feeling guilty by the thought of not wearing it, so now you will wear it out of guilt which is not right for him also,' he continued and I nodded my head.

'As we love each other, now you will not wear it out of love but out of guilt, and before you could say anything, I am not saying that you don't love Sohum anymore, I know that you will always love him, it's just that, now I am also an important part of your life,' he continued further.

'Were you always so calm and wise?' I asked and he laughed.

'If the situation needs it, I can be calm,' he replied and I smiled.

'Okay. I understood. I don't want to wear it out of guilt,' I said and he smiled.

Before he could say anything, the doorbell rang and I got up from his lap and went to open the door and Kabir followed me.

Tanisha came inside and Tarun followed her.

'Welcome home,' Tanisha hugged Kabir as soon as she saw him.

'Princess, you are very smart,' Kabir said and Tanisha broke their hug and started laughing.

'Hello!' Tarun and Kabir shake hands with each other.

'First thing first, Tarun I realized that you don't have any friends here, right? You lied to me, right?' I asked.

'Yes, I lied because Tanisha told me that she wanted to take you to the parlour and if I had joined both of you, then you would have got uncomfortable,' Tarun said as they sat on sofa and we also sat beside them.

'Thank you for everything, Tarun,' I said and he smiled.

'I can do anything for my friend and I am glad both of you are together.' he said.

'So, tell me did you guys sort everything out?' Tanisha asked excitedly.

'Yes. We talked about everything,' we said in unison and looked at each other.

'Did my plan of getting you ready worked out? Did Handsome go crazy after looking at you?' she asked.

'Yes, but I can't say anything more than that,' I said while remembering what happened few hours back.

'No need to tell me anything. Your blush has told me everything,' she said and it made me realize that I was blushing.

'By the way, Tarun told me that you came in ola. What happened to your car?' Tanisha asked.

'It was not starting and it would have took time to repair it and I was dying to come here so I booked an ola, but I called Suraj and asked to repair it,'

'Thank you for everything Tanisha and Tarun,' I said.

'But all of you tricked me, specially princess,' Kabir said.

'I did everything for both of you, Handsome.'

'Anyways, where is your office?' Kabir asked Tanisha.

'My office is twenty minutes away from the house. That's why I chose this house,' Tanisha replied.

'So, what did you do today?' I asked looking at Tarun.

'I watched four movies alone and fifth one I watched with Tanisha,' he replied.

'Thank you once again for everything both of you did even though earlier, I was acting distant with you Tarun, but still you helped me,' I said.

'What are friends for? Anyways, we had not eaten anything outside as you ordered us to not eat anything outside, so I am really hungry,' Tarun said.

'I will warm up the dinner. By the way, what did you had for lunch?' I asked Tarun.

'A burger,' he said and I sighed.

Quickly, I warmed up the dinner and went and kept it in the hall.

'I have no dining table. Sorry, handsome, you have to sit on the floor,' Tanisha said.

'It's okay, princess,' he said and adjusted his pants and sat on the floor making me smile.

Me and Tanisha finished washing utensils and cleaning the kitchen when the doorbell rang and Tanisha went to open it while I sat on the sofa.

'Come in,' Tanisha said and we looked at Dev and Divya standing in front of us.

'You have met kavya, but you have not met him, right?"

'He is Kabir, who became Kavya's boyfriend few hours back.'

'What? Really? He was the one with whom you fought and came here? You thought he didn't love you and treats you just a friend. But, finally he realized that he loves you?' Divya asked excitedly.

'You told them also?' Kabir asked me.

'I told them, kabir. But, I didn't say everything,' Tanisha said.

'Anyways, he is Kavya's friend, Tarun aho has became my friend also,' Tanisha gestured towards Tarun and Tarun greeted them.

'And, Kabir and Tarun, this is Divya, my landlord and Dev, her boyfriend.' she said to them and they greeted each other.

'Sorry to disturb you guys, but we had gone to Odissa to take blessings of Jagannath puri and Divya wanted to give prasad to you guys,' Dev said.

'You are not disturbing us,' Tanisha said.

'You had gone to jagannath puri. Wow!' I exclaimed.

'You want to go to jagannath puri?' Kabir asked me.

'Yes. After watching a serial, based on god Jagannath, I wanted to go there,' I said.

'We also planned to go there long time back but was not getting leave. Finally we got leave,' Divya said as she gave a packet to Tanisha.

'Give the prasad to everybody,' she said and Tanisha nodded and went to keep the prasad in the kitchen.

'Sorry, I forgot to ask you to sit. Sit down,' I said and got uo and kabir and Tarun moved aside to give them space and I sat on the floor and Tanisha came and joined me.

'We just came here to give you prasad, you guys enjoy,' Divya said.

'Please sit,' I insisted and they sat on the sofa.

'You guys have came here for the first time, so you should eat something. I will not let you leave like this,' Tanisha said.

'I will order family pack ice-cream. Let us have it. I will order it from blinkitt. What is your favourite flavour?' she continued.

'This is not needed, Really,' Dev said.

'Yes, it is needed. Which flavour do you like?' Tanisha asked again.

'Anything is fine ' Divya said.

'Okay. Only kesar pista is available in blinkitt. Is it okay?' she asked them.

'Yes,' they said in unison.

'So, when will you leave for Mumbai?' Divya asked.

'Tomorrow,' she replied.

'And,how many day will you stay in Mumbai?' Divya asked.

'Maybe three to four days,' she replied and I looked at her.

'What? I thought you will stay a week,' I said

'No. Maybe, next time I will stay a week, but this time I can only manage three to four days,' she said.

'Work is also important.' Tarun said

'So, what do you guys do?' Dev asked.

'I own a hotel,' Kabir said

'And I have shop of electronics,' Tarun said.

'Wow! All of you are rich here. I work in a mere company and you guys are rich businessman,' Dev joked.

'It's nothing like that,' Tarun said.

'Yes. I am a school teacher. Tanisha also works in a company, so no, all of us are not rich here,' I said.

'Yes. We are not rich, only Kabir and Tarun are rich and I think we should open a business and show them we are better than them,' Tanisha laughed and we joined her.

I realized that she was trying to lighten the mood as Dev was feeling awkward.

'Okay, bye, enjoy your trip to Mumbai,' Divya said as they got out and me and Tanisha came to see them off at the door.

They said goodbye as soon as they finished their ice-cream even though we insisted that they should stay for some time, but they said they have to sleep early as they have work tomorrow.

'Yes. I will send you pictures in the group. You also send the pictures of your Odissa trip in group,' Tanisha said.

'Okay. I will send it today,' Divya said as they left and I closed the door.

'Why were you so quiet? You seemed so rude,' I asked Kabir as Tanisha gave prasad to everyone.

'I don't know them,' he said with a shrug.

'And, I replied to what they asked me,' he continued.

'By the way, he seemed too young, right?' Kabir asked.

'Yes,' Me and Tanisha said in unison and I excitedly told him the whole story.

'Wow! For a guy to pursue a girl for six years is a big thing,' Kabir said.

'That shows how much he loves her,' I said.

'I hope they will stay like this only,' Kabir said.

'Yes. By the way, it is late. Tomorrow, we have to leave early. You will sleep with Tarun, right?' Tanisha asked.

'Or do you want to sleep with Kavya?' Tanisha joked.

'No. I will sleep with you,' I said to Tanisha.

'I was just joking,' Tanisha said.

'Yes. I have no problem sleeping with Tarun. And, we both will sleep together when we are in my home,' Kabir said while looking at me.

'Kabir, stop saying these things,' I punched his shoulders playfully.

'Tarun will have a company today. Till now he was sleeping alone,' I changed the subject.

'Okay. By the way, I have not bought any clothes as I came here directly from hotel,' Kabir said.

'No problem. I will give clothes to you. I guess we are the same size,' Tarun said.

'Okay,' kabir said and followed Tarun in another room and we went to our room.

'Come outside.' I got a message from Kabir while I was reacting to the pictures of Odissa trip Divya send in the group.

I looked at Tanisha who was sleeping beside me.

I removed my duvet and slowly went outside and it was dark as the lights were off.

Suddenly I felt someone pulling me towards them and I got relaxed as I realized it was Kabir.

'I was not able to sleep as I was thinking about you,' Kabir said and kissed my forehead.

'I want a goodnight kiss and then I will let you go,' he continued.

I looked at him, pushed some hairs which were disturbing his forehead and gave a kiss on his forehead.

'Now, you can go. You must be tired as you have travelled so much,' I said and he kissed my cheek.

After so many days, I will sleep happily and peacefully at night,' he said making me smile as he bid me goodnight and went to the other room.
