Happy Birthday Dear. Many many happy returns of the day.

Kavya's POV

I went home and got changed in my casual kurti and pant and sat down with a glass of water.

Today's day was one of the worst days ever.

I remembered how he held the driver's collar so tightly.

It's as if he was going to kill him.

He was so angry.

How can someone get so angry?

I have never seen someone who can be so angry.

Sohum was not an angry person.

He was happy and fun loving person.

I hardly saw him angry.

Raj got so scared.

Where are Raj's parents?

I never saw them.

Anyways, why am I thinking all this?

I broke off my thoughts and decided to have tea to refresh myself.

Next day it was Saturday and I have to go to the hospital to meet Alka Aunty who stays in the first floor.

She met with an accident few days back but due to my school I could not go to meet her.

She is okay now and will be discharged in few days.

I got ready in a pink kurti and black leggings , did my hair, took my purse and walked towards the auto stand.

I went inside 'Ray of hope' with a dozen apple and a coconut water.

I asked the receptionist and she told me the room number.

"Hello Aunty," I greeted as soon as I got inside.

"Kavya," she said and tried to sit.

"No...no...you don't have to wake up," I said and she once again laid down and I kept the apples and coconut water at the side table.

"How is your pain?" I asked.

"My leg is paining a lot but doctor said I will be fine in four to five months," she said.

"From now on please take care while you are hanging clothes," I said to her.

She fell down from the stool while she was hanging clothes.

"Yes, Kavya. I am glad you came," she said and I smiled.

"I was getting bored sitting alone all day," she continued.

"Where is Ravi?" I asked about her son.

"He took off for a week but from today he started office," she said and I nodded in a yes.

"I would have been so happy if you were my daughter in-law," she said as she caressed my face.

Ravi's wife died due to cancer two years back and from the past one year Aunty is saying the same thing.

"My answer is still no, Aunty," I said with a small smile.

"I have told you so many times to not wear sindoor and mangalsutra. Only married woman wears it. You can't wear it," she said.

"I have also told you so many times that wearing it makes me feel that Sohum is close to me," I told her and she was quiet for few seconds.

"But in a way it's good. Other men can't approach you if you wear it. Now a days it is so hard for a widowed woman to stay alone," she said.

"But I don't wear it so that men will not approach me. I wear it to feel Sohum close to me," I told her.

"Sohum is so lucky. I wish Ravi would have been so lucky," she said.

"Aunty, if you will keep saying this, I will leave," I said and was leaving but she held my hand.

"No...no...we will talk about other things. Please don't leave. Actually after the accident I am more scared that who will look after my son when I will be gone," she said as I sat down.

"Everything will be okay, Aunty. Wait I will show you your favourite serial on mobile," I changed the topic as I took out my mobile and she got excited as soon I told her I will show her favourite serial to her.

"I will leave," I said as I bid her goodbye after two hours.

"I am glad you came today," she said.

"Now be healthy and come home soon," I said to her before I left.

I was walking towards the exit when I heard a familiar voice.

"It's not a big deal," I heard his voice and stopped in my tracks.

"But still thank you for helping us. Suraj told us you helped us with money and on top of that you paid the hospital bill till now," that woman said.

Am I right?

Is he Raj's brother?

I opened the door and peeked inside but I could only see their back.

"And from now on till you are walking on your feet I will pay for everything," he said.

"Sir, you don't have to do that," another voice said.

"It's an order," he said.

I felt someone pushed me and now I was inside the ward.

"Madam. You?" the driver said as he looked at me and the man turned around and his eyes met mine.

I am right.

He is Raj's brother.

"Hello... uhhh... somebody pushed me and I came inside. I am sorry. Bye aunty. I will pray for your recovery," I said and quickly left the room and by now I was breathing hard.

Kavya! Are you stupid?

Why were you peeking in the ward?

"Good evening," I heard his voice and turned around to meet his eyes.

"Uhhh... Good evening. I will leave," I said and was leaving.

"Wait," I heard his voice and stopped in my tracks.

"Let's leave together," he said as he walked towards me and now we were both walking towards the exit silently.

"So you were looking in the ward?" he asked after some time.

"I am sorry. I heard a familiar voice and curiosity got the best out of me and to see if it was really you, I peeked inside but then after some time, I felt somebody pushed me and I came inside. I am really sorry," I said and I could hear his chuckle which made me look at him and when I closely look at him I saw that he is really hadsome.

Today he is wearing a navy blue suit with blue tie.

He looks like someone who works in a big company.

Yesterday he seemed like a different person but today he seems completely different.
