With a unique writing style and an even more unique plot line, @JakeVanderArk provides a new outlook on a dark subject. The story is very well-written, if not borderline artistry in the making. Jake creates a set of characters with layers of depth and conflicting emotions, and none of them can be described as saints. The corruption of innocence, the value of someone's life, and the promise of hope in the darkest situations are all addressed. Not to mention, the ending will leave you thinking long after you've finished reading.

I highly recommend y'all check out his work. Definitely worth the read.
