Gray was in lunch the following day.
His normal table, where he sat with his childhood friend Leon normally, was gone.
Leon had gone off with his other friends.
None of Gray's friends had his lunch period.
The cafeteria was full and was getting fuller.

He decided to eat in the comments.
'Why not?' He asked himself.

Once again, he saw none of his friends or people that he knew.

All but one.

That one person was tucked away in the far east all alone.

That person was Natsu Dragneel, now, Gray didn't know much about Natsu, but he did know that he had a lot of friends.

So why was he all alone?

Gray took it upon himself, and sitting with someone you kinda know is better than alone, right?

No, I sit alone every day and I like it. I sit by the trash too. Okay, author out.

"Hey." Gray walked over, "Can I sit here?"

Natsu looked up at him, "Yea, sure."

Gray sat down, "So why are you here all alone?"

"None of my friends have this lunch period. So I normally sit alone. OH OH- I just realized My sister got a schedule change! Do you know her? Her name's Wendy Marvell," Natsu quickly got excited and started smiling.

"Umm, no, I don't, " Gray rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh my god! She is the sweetest and purest person ever!! Here she comes!" Natsu's face lit up like he never has seen before.

A small girl with blue hair and brown eyes sat down with them.
"Hi, I'm Wendy! Nice to meet you."

Gray waved at her, "Gray."

Gray drank some tea, "You two don't look anything alike." 

Wendy and Natsu looked at each other.

"Well, we aren't blood siblings. My dad adopted me and my blood brother, along with some other kids and then, after a year he married Wendy's adopted mom. So technically we're step-siblings but we grew up and live together," Natsu said a little embarrassed.

"Oh." Gray nodded, "I have an adopted mom too." 

"Cool," Natsu smiled at him.

"Hey, Gray?" Wendy spoke up.

"Yea?" Gray had ramen halfway to his mouth

"You and Natsu have a lot of the same friends, you're in classes together, but you guys have never properly talked?" Wendy raised an eyebrow.

Natsu froze, "When you put it that way, it does sound really weird."

"Yea," Gray agreed.

"Gray? Do you know that Lucy challenged Natsu to re-read Macbeth, using the fact that you're better than him in English as motivation," Wendy smiled and sipped her drink, It looked like passion fruit iced tea.

"Wendy!" Natsu dragged out the syllables in her name.

Gray smirked, "He asked me for help yesterday, and we're starting tomorrow."

At this point, Natsu had his face in his hands. 

"Wow, he hates relying on other people," Wendy laughs.

Gray and Wendy continued to talk, drifting from the topic of Natsu to other things such as Gajeel, Erza, and videogames, and tea.

Natsu got bored and started braiding Wendy's hair katniss style with some flowers made out of paper.

"Natsu, What kind of tea is that?" Gray noticed his drink.

"Hm? Oh, golden flower tea," Natsu smiled. 

Wendy stared at him with a 'seriously' look.

Natsu shrugged.

Gray ate a sandwitch, "I realized I dindn't specify myself yesterday, but I need help with science and history."

Natsu nodded, "I figured." 

The three of them finished thier lunch, not too long before the bell rang. They cleaned up thier stuff and ran in three diffrent directions.

Later on;

Gray knocked on Natsu's door room.
