One dark and rainy night Nancy snapped. Jonathan and her broke up with each other but something inside of her was still burning with rage. In a hasty decision she packed a bag full of her most important items, went to her car and fled.

Her impulsive decision lead her to Olympia, Washington. She calls Steve to ask for a couch to crash on, though he claims to not have any space. He gave her another phone number, Eddie's.

Now she sat on the metalheads sofa in his small and messy apartment, wearing his flannel.

A few days ago, while roaming the city and looking for possible jobs, she visited Eddie at the record shop he was employed in. On her way to look around she found a zine, writing about being queer, sex, punk music, bdsm and discovering yourself.

This lead Nancy to spiral as she finds herself getting closer with Eddie and slowly drifting into the Riot Grrrl movement of Washington.

Robin and Steve had moved away from Hawkins right after they had killed Vecna. They needed a change of scenery and space to deal with their feelings and trauma.

Robin had a messy breakup with Vickie behind her and wanted nothing more but to party and let loose. When Steve announced that he found a new apartment in the same building as Eddie's, she gets excited until she met his new roommate. Nancy. The girl Robin has been yearning for for years. Nancy's new look and attitude didn't help as Robin starts to feel even more attracted to her.
