There are a few individuals in the world with gifts. These gifts are usually quite subtle, but they have enough of an effect that they change the lives of the children who receive them. The government found out about these kids a year ago, and they were put into a special program in an undisclosed location. This year, the last gifted child was found. For a month, not much happened. Something seemed... off. Suddenly, the students in the program were sent on a field trip to an unmapped island in the Pacific with no instructions or preparation.
