Draco's POV

"Work. Work. Work. Chill out, bro." I said mockingly as I saw my brother, David working on his laptop in the living room.

David and I were identical twins, but he was the complete opposite of me as character. He was hardworking, disciplined and serious. However, we were so close. I liked to tease him.

He shook his head and commented. "You are hopeless."

"Yeah, yeah." I gave him an arrogant smirk. "What did your fiancée find in you? You are boring."

"Because interesting guys like you make bad husbands." David said cockily. "So our father has chosen me to marry Mira." He added and winked at me.

Mira was his fiancée. Her father and my father were co-partners. Her father was one of the most influential businessmen in the world. My father had chosen her as David's future wife. And as always David obeyed my father taking it for granted.

Flashback

"Draco!" David snarled as he rushed into the living room.

"What happened?" I asked, puzzled.

"Today when I was in a meeting at the restaurant, a girl interrupted the meeting and slapped me. Do you know why? According to her, I sneaked out after having sex with her while she was sleeping."

He clenched his fist. I pursed my lips together, trying to hold myself from laughing.

"And do you know what is strange? I never met that girl." He added sarcastically.

"Hmm. Are you sure?" I asked, giving him an innocent look.

"Draco!" He exclaimed.

"Ok, bro. But it isn't my fault that we are twins." I said arrogantly and winked at him.

He sighed, rolling his eyes and placed his hands on his hips.

"It is so difficult to have a little brother. Especially a brother like you who is irresponsible." He commented.

"You are just twenty seconds older than me." I reminded. "It was the only time when you won. After it, I am always the first one. Especially getting all the beautiful girls." I winked at him.

"Thanks, but I don't want to be the first one in changing women like dirty socks. I respect them."

I rolled my eyes. "Even if you want, you can not do it. You are boring. Poor Mira! She will have an interesting life after getting married to you." I teased him. "But maybe, I can save her. The next time I will give your name when I meet a girl. Let's see what will happen when your future fiancée hears it." I teased him.

"Don't you dare!" David warned me angrily.

I shrugged my shoulders, giving him a mischievous smirk. "How will you stop me?" I teased him.

I rushed towards the exit as he wanted to approach me.

When I turned to the right, I bumped into someone. I caught her by wrapping my arms around her waist stopping her from falling. She grabbed my arms for support.

As our eyes met, I lost in her beautiful eyes. It felt like time stopped. She looked so beautiful, and her mind-blowing scent drove me crazy.

"Oh, Mira, you are here." David said behind me.

My eyes widened in shock. Mira? The same Mira? My brother's fiancée?

I cleared my throat and straightened.

"Yeah." She replied without taking her eyes off me and bit her lower lip.

Mira and David started dating a few weeks ago when I was in Spain. So I hadn't had the opportunity to meet her before.

"Hmm. So the famous Mira is you." I commented, looking into her eyes, rubbing my neck.

"I guess." She said, giving me a shy smile.

"Mira, let me introduce you to my brother, Draco. Draco, this is Mira, my girlfriend." David said, placing his hand on her back.

"Nice to meet you, Mira." I shook her hand. Her hand was so soft like silk. She gave me a mesmerizing smile.

I cleared my throat and rubbed the back of my neck. I felt uneasy. I didn't know what to say. My mind was blank. It had been the first time when I felt this way with a woman. I always knew how to act in a woman's presence, but with her it felt like I forgot all my skills which I was an expert at.

Get a grip, Draco!

I put an arrogant smirk on my face and said."Good luck with my brother. You are the unluckiest girl in the world who will get bored with my brother and his boring life." I chuckled.

"Draco!" David warned me, shaking his head. "Don't pay attention to my funny brother." He told Mira, emphasizing the word funny. Mira nodded, forcing a smile.

"Umm...I have to go. See you later." I said and left without waiting for them to say anything.

I took a deep breath as soon as I walked out of the mansion.

****

"Thanks. I don't want either." I said, shaking my head in a horrified expression. He chuckled. "Let's go. If we are late, Dad will give us a lecture. I don't want to listen to his long lectures. Especially on my birthday." I winked at him.

Today was David and my birthday. We were going to have dinner with our parents in our hotel. Then we were celebrating our birthday with our friends in the hotel. It was going to be a masquerade ball. My mother had organized it for us.

After having dinner with our parents, we went to our suite to get ready. I put on a black tuxedo. I put my black mask into my pocket. Then I poured a glass of whiskey for myself and went to the living room.

"Really?!" I gave David a mocking smirk as I saw his white tuxedo. "It is our birthday not your wedding day." I teased him.

"My assistant chose it. I didn't have time for shopping last week." David informed while checking his emails on his phone.

"She probably imagined marrying you while choosing it." I grinned. He gave me a dirty look.

I ran my fingertip along a grey mask with white details as I took a sip from my whiskey.

"At least, she has good taste in choosing masks." I commented, looking at the mask.

"No, it is Mira's gift." David informed. I instantly pulled my hand away.

"Oh." I muttered and took a sip from my whiskey.

"And Draco, keep your friend in your pants tonight." David warned me as he put his phone on the table.

"Hey, it is my birthday, and my friend wants to celebrate it as well." I winked at him and collapsed onto the couch.

He frowned. "Ok, but if some girl comes and demands an explanation why I sneaked out the following morning after having sex with her, you will regret it this time. Don't forget it." He gave me a serious look.

"Ok. Ok. I will not take my mask. So she will not know who I am." I said, raising my hands in surrender. David sighed, shaking his head in disapproval.
