It felt like Dejavu seeing all the members crowd around in the living room for yet another meeting. But this time I can't understand the reason behind this meeting. In fact I was dragged away to the dorms the moment my vocal session had ended. 

I know the boys were very worried about the negative effect the article published three days ago had on both me and JooHyun but I had assured them that I would handle it all. 

I was called to the Company the very next day the 'Scandalous' article of me dropping her home became a uproar in the news-sites. Apparently, a fan who happened to be around their new dorm at that time had managed to click a picture of us and had made no delay to sell it to the top news-sites. I hadn't expected this issue to blow up so much because it was already made public that we are in a relationship, no matter how much fake it was at that time and how true it is now. Then why must there be an issue?

However, the issue was my negligence. 

The problem was that I had completely forgotten of the fact that we both were not supposed to be sited together by her company. The whole reason she had distanced away from me was to make sure nothing happened to both of us due to the pictures taken that day in the hospital. 

Due to which, SM contacted our agency the moment they saw the article and put forward the proposal of announcing the supposed 'break-up' since the contract time was coming to an end next week itself. BigHit rebutted stating that since it was just yesterday that an article in our favor had been released. If a statement regarding our 'break-up' is to be released, it would only backfire.

 Annoyed and defeated, SM representatives backed away only to be come back to say that even if the article will not be released, the moment the day the contract come to an end JooHyun and I will have to cut off contact and walk separate ways. BigHit staff, ever not relenting, added another clause that if in this period there is any damage to my brand image and reputation, they will get to take the final call even if it is against what SM wants. Afterall, this whole contract was made to hide up their faults and defend the image of JooHyun.

Although I did not really like how they were fighting over us as if we are not present in the meeting room and just put a deaf ear towards the plea we made to let us be since we had actually developed genuine feelings for each other. Mr.Seo, my artist PR director,  had stopped me non-verbally to bring that up and had discreetly messaged me that he'll look after it later on. 

Overall, the meeting was one long and unnerving situation I certainly do not wish to go through again. I think the only thing that kept me sane and not give in to the temptation to interrupt was JooHyun who had conveniently seated next to me.

She was definitely stressed but still tried to smile for me to show that she is okay. But as usual, I saw through it. There was no doubt that her company will put pressure on her as she is still a rookie and such dating scandals are never in their favor.

Once the whole meeting was done and the SM representatives left, JooHyun too left soon as she had a schedule at KBS. 

So now, three days later, the sudden Bangtan meeting was not expected. I had kept the members updated and apologized for bringing out such a different attention to the group. After all, we had made a pact that we will try our best to stay away from media scandals but I ended up right in the middle of it. However the boys totally ignored the apology and continued to bug me about what happened three days ago and giggling like teenage boys.

Namjoon is sitting on the sofa next to me with Hobi on his other side while Yoongi is occupying the sole love seat. Tae, Jimin and Jungkook are also on the floor eating ramen they just ordered.

We all wait for Yoongi to finish the call he was on before starting the meeting and the moment he does, we look at Namjoon. 

"Okay so guys the reason I called everyone to the dorms is because I got a call from the agency." Namjoon started, "The album composition is finally completed and approved. We are almost done with the choreography of our title song so now starts the comeback countdown."

Hearing this, everyone became alert. Comeback countdown usually started a month before the comeback once the album is finalized. This one month is scheduled in such a way that all members will have no other schedule other than focusing on the preparations. Practice sessions for press conference, interview sessions and comeback stages is perfected to fault. There are next to none 'free' or 'rest' days for us except two days before the comeback so that we can get ourselves together. 

"Hyung, what date has been set?", Jimin asks.

"May 1st is the date the MV will be released." 

Everyone became silent after that. I looked at Yoongi and Hobi hesitating to ask something but stop themselves. I can guess that they want to ask me something but are holding themselves back.

"Wae? What do you want to talk about?", I ask them.

"Um...Hyung, the thing is....You said you would handle everything that is going on with you but we wanted to ask how it is going on..."says Hobi, clearly not knowing how to frame his question. But I understood his question well enough and the reason behind it.

I sit up straight in my seat and address everyone, "I know that none of you have outright asked me anything about my private life and I appreciate that. I want you guys to know that I have come to really like JooHyun-ssi very much. I did not expect this would happen. I thought we will end this four months in friendship and go separate ways but clearly that din't happen."

 Thankfully there was not much effect on both our teams as time went on but one threat can be the leaking of the contract details. If that gets out, fans will think that we are deliberately fooling them and that will not  be easy for anyone. We are trying our best to make sure that it doesn't get out because not only will it be really bad for both the teams, me and JooHyun will loose the chance to publicly be together, not to mention how betrayed the fans might feel.

"There are a lot of things that will try to take advantage of this whole...situation but I will like it if you leave it up to me. This is my battle and I don't want to drag you all into this. If anything will happen, I will take it up on myself and not let it affect any of you" I continued. Seeing the anxious and worried expression on most of them as they understood what I mean, had me quickly adding, "Not that there will be anything bad coming up. I was just saying.."

Silence spread around me as the boys took in what I just said. I knew that I had just said something that will make them worry. I can already see Jungkook's eyes tearing up.

"That being said, I will also make sure that none of this will affect our comeback countdown. This one month is really important and I will give my best. I promise you guys that." I say, trying to ease the tension in the room, "I also promise that I will become a better dancer than Namjoon."

At this Namjoon, Taehyung and Jimin let out chuckles as the rest smile and shake their head. I could see Jungkook trying to smile. I need to talk to that boy soon.

Soon after Namjoon sent us our month schedule and other remaining instructions the meeting ended. We ordered in dinner and ate while taking about our favorite tracks in the album. Since it was nearing midnight we called it a night as we had practice at 8 am tomorrow.

I walked out of the bathroom with a towel around my neck and leaned back a little to see Yoongi was already sleeping. How that man manages to sleep the moment he hits the bed, no one knows.

I sit on my bed and check if there are any messages and a smile makes up to my face seeing one from JooHyun.

Hey! Are you sleeping? - SM Irene

I frowned seeing the contact name. I have to change it before she sees it. I might not hear the end of it if she does.

About to now. You? - Jin

It doesn't take a whole minute that I get a reply.

Just finished shooting a variety. On my way home. - Baechu 

Ah...tired? - Jin

Veryyy. I think I am going to sleep as soon as I hit the bed. - Baechu

Aigoo...my hardworking girlfriend. Are you eating your vitamins?- Jin 

I keep my phone on the bed and keep a eye on it as I dry my hair with the towel. It bings not soon after and I laugh at her reply.

This is the fifth time someone is asking me thing. And the answer is YES. I am eating all the vitamins. - Baechu

Before I get to reply, another text comes in.

Reached home. I'll call you in sometime - Baechu

I lock my phone and get up to put the towel in the laundry basket with a smile on my face. She is definitely the only person who can make me smile with even mundane conversations.

I think the only thing I have been doing since chapter 1 is apologize for updating late and I honestly don't see myself doing any better ahead too. But still, Sorry for late update!

(PS song attached is The Rose- Sorry. It just mwah. I can't believe I fell in love with a voice so much. Blackroses will know who I am talking about.)

The thing is that I have joined a internship program and that is eating up most of my day and life. The good thing is that it will be ending soon. Like tomorrow. That soon. Can't say I will be sad.

Anyways, I hope all of you are safe and healthy. For students like me out there, it's okay if you haven't done anything 'productive' in these past months. We haven't been asked to stay at home to be constantly busy. Take this time to relax, rest and be happy. It's okay if you don't do any courses or attend any webinar, just stay safe and keep your family safe. That's the priority now.
