As soon as our break got over, we had the second section of awards season to get ready for. BTS had made a reputation of a idol group with knife-like choreography and amazing stage presence and we will work till out knees give out to maintain those titles.

We started out small so our dreams were big and now that we are slowing growing, we wish to fullfil all those dreams.

A few days ago when I had returned to the dorm with six autographs, my ears and my back almost got fractured. Jimin, Hobi, Jungkook and V squealed like little kids when they get their favorite toy on their birthday, so loud that I am pretty sure they must have damaged something inside my ear too.

That entire night and the morning next day till we had to leave for practice, they kept staring at the paper goofyly  and sending pictures to their parents.

When the maknae line came to know that I had spent almost a day with Irene-ssi they huddled around me to know what we had done. When I refused, they followed me around the house in groups, pestering me for details. They did not get any in the end.

"Hyung! Do you know if Red Velvet is coming today?" Jimin asked from his chair where he was getting his make-up done.

Before I could answer, Namjoon did. "Yes, they are. I saw the guestlist the other day. They are performing too."

We are in the artist room backstage for the 25th Annual Seoul Music Awards. We are performing Run and Dope and Namjoon is doing a collaboration stage with MFBTY Sunbaenim. We had just finished the dry rehearsals an we were all hyped when we got to see the collaboration performance. Wendy was collaborating in the song Angel by MFBTY while Namjoon was collaborating for BukkuBukku followed by EXO Chanyeol for the song 'Bangdwigibangbang'.

The award season was one of the best season an artist can enjoy. Not only do we get to perform in front of our seniors and juniors but we also get to enjoy their performances live. 

I looked down at my phone waiting for a message to come in while I get my make up done. I had asked manager hyung if he had Irene's number and he had given me a weird look before giving it to me. Apparently it was written in profile that was given to me. Speaking of which, that profile and the letter lay unopened in the last drawer of my bedside table. I had no interest in knowing about her through an external source when I can get to know her personally.

That night when I had reached home, I had realized that me and Irene had something other idols did not. We had the liberty to act however we want and react however we want with each other without people interfering in our business. Since we had established a friendship between us there was no reason to hide or be subtle.

As friends, of course. 

The awards show was yet to start so I was getting impatient when I still did not get a reply.

For our own sake we both had agreed that we will not meet during the award show. Our escape from the coffee shop had caught enough attention as it is. The company did not have a say in this since they pushed this on us so now we get to decide how to do it. We had given the media enough content to gossip about. Today was the day we will be solely focused on the performance and our members. But then again, we can talk on text right?

Just then my phone pinged making me scramble to unlock my phone. I smiled as I replied.

I smile as I stuff my phone in my pocket and get up from my chair, making my way towards the exit with the boys.
