Anne's POV

I woke up on a Saturday morning with a very quiet lab. Normally Stein is awake first on the weekends and in his lab dissecting some poor unfortunate soul.I untangled myself from my warm covers and stood slowly. The cold floor was uncomfortable under my feet and gave me chills. I walked out of my room pushing open my very heavy metal door. I walked to Stein's room first.

I pushed the door open that I had once propped not too long ago. I peered inside and saw his bed a mess and empty. I let out a sigh and walked to the lab to see if he was being quiet with his dissection. He was not there either. I walked to the bathroom. Not in the shower. As the last hope, I walked to the main room where his computer stands alone. I turned the corner to see it off.

Growing worried I grabbed a mirror that was close by. I dialed Lord Death. "42-42-564 whenever you wanna knock on Death's door." I said. He came up and I smiled a bit. "Hiya Anne how goes it?" he asked. I let out a sigh before I spoke. "Is Stein there on an early meeting that he never told me about? He is not home and I cannot find him." I said and at this point

Spirit was on screen with Death. "He isn't home?" He asked and I nodded. "I have no idea where he is. I read in his file a few years ago when I researched this place that his sanity was never stable.That was a challenge to work with that interested me but now...I have no idea if i am up for the challenge. But as his weapon, I will. If it means I perish. But for now, I need to know where he is. I have an idea where he is but. Do I dare go there? I have no idea." I said.

Lord Death and Spirit looked at each other before nodding. "I have a feeling that Medusa Gorgon could have kidnapped him. But if he was in a state of madness she could have told him that the noise would stop if he came with her. However, we do not at the moment know where she is hiding." he said. I gritted my teeth at the name and situation.

"Medusa Gorgon.." I started. "I read her file. I know she worked at the DWMA as a "human" nurse. And that Stein had his doubts about her. I will get to the bottom of this even if it means my death. You will have your friend and professor back. But for now. I will update you on the situation." I said. They nodded and Spirit wiped a tear from his eye. I waved and they signed off.

I sighed and left the lab and locked it as I did. I jumped to the roof to look at Death City. "If I was a witch where would I hide?" I thought. I smirked and walked off to a fairly known witch hideout. I walked through the tunnel where I was slammed against the wall. "You do not look like a witch, ribbit." I heard. I looked up and smirked. "It is nice to see you as well, Eruka Frog." I said. She looked at me and dropped me.

"Sorry, Anne. Why are you here?" she asked. I stood and straightened my fleece
. "I am looking for my meister. Professor Franken Stein. I have reason to beilieve that the witch Medusa Gorgon had taken him overnight." I said. She nodded and looked down.

"Well.. I should not be talking to you as a DWMA student. But since I hate Medusa as much as you do I will tell you where she is located." she said. I nodded and smirked.

She told me where she was and I nodded. "Very well...I love to get my hands dirty. I will see you around." I turned to leave. "And Eruka...Try and stayout of trouble..." I said before leaving. I ran off to the only clue I had. I called LordDeath.

"Hiya Anne...Any new leads?" he
asked. I smirked and nodded. "I got one from an old friend of mine." I said.

He nodded and looked at me. "Who is this old friend?" he asked. I smirked and looked at him. "A witch by the name of Eruka Frog. We used to be close friends when we were younger and before she started practicing magic and became a witch." I said.He nodded and Spirit came on screen. "You're telling us that you are friends with a witch?" he asked. I nodded."Indeed." I said.

"You are lucky you are Stein's Weapon." he said. "Is that a threat Death Scythe?" I asked. He looked at me and a smirk on his lips. "That depends." he said. "Oh?" I asked. "If you can get him home then we will speak none of this...If you fail to get him home...I get to kill you myself." he said. I smirked and nodded. "Deal." I said. He nodded and faded off. I smirked and picked up the pace. "Always with the underestimating," I said and sighed. I jumped did a backflip and landed. I looked around and smirked. There were dead trees with a ton of misleading signs.

This should be interesting. I began to walk in using my soul to find the Witch and my meister. I found Stein's in madness and sighed. I am here Stein. I said and it jumped a bit.

Medusa's POV

I turned to Stein. I walked over a bit and sat on his lap as I waited. I heard him mumble a bit of words that I could not hear. "What was that?" I sneered. He looked at me his green eyes crazed. He smirked and looked at me. "The noises. I cannot stop them. I am afraid I will dissect you soon." he said. I smirked. "You can dissect soon enough. Someone is on their way." I said. He smirked insanely. "Where is your weapon?" I asked. A crash was heard and I looked over. "His weapon is right here, Medusa." she said. I frowned. "Aww why do you say my name with such venom and hatred?" I pouted.

She chuckled. "You stole my meister from me. Probably for your own evil purposes. Now I will ask this once. Give.Him.Back." She said. I chuckled and glanced at Stein. "Me? GIve him back? Nah." I said and rose a hand. "Vector Arrow," I said and a giant arrow sword was in my hand. "This little body allows me to have so much more of my magic. Don't you see?" I asked. I jumped at her and she moved and swiped at me. She broke my sword easily and I looked at her and gasped. "How did you?"  I asked. "Do not underestimate me!" she said before slicing away at me.

Stein's POV

I can hear Anne. But I cannot move. "Anne..You need to get me out of here." I said. I heard her fighting and reply. "Stein hang in there. I am working on it." she said. I looked around through my hair. I saw her with her arms as blades. She was making Medusa jump around like a mere flea. I smirked and stood. She looked at me and Medusa jumped over. Anne followed and stopped. "Wanna play a game?" she asked. Anne growled. "If you can beat your meister... you can have him." she said and jumped off somewhere.

Without my say my body began to move. "Anne you need to leave. I cannot stop myself much longer from dissecting you." I said and covered my face. She looked at me a small smile on her face. "But that is what I want." she said. I smirked and jumped at her my fist filled with electricity. She moved and stepped on my hand and sutured me to the floor as she placed a hand on my heart. "Give me my meister back the way he was." she said. I watched as I went back to normal and fell a bit. Anne caught me and smiled.

"Hey." she said. I smirked and stood. "Sup?" I asked. She chuckled and grabbed my hand and transformed. "We have a witch to beat the shit out of." she said. I smirked and chuckled. "Language." I said. She shrugged on her blade and vanished to let me fight. I jumped, lunged, and dodged each attack and got my own in. I smirked and resonated with Anne and grabbed a new ability. "Madness Slice!" I said. I swung and sliced Medusa in half leaving the little girl known as Rachel safely behind.

I let Anne down and looked at girl covering her with my lab coat. I sighed and looked at Anne. "How did you manage to find me?" I asked. She sighed and looked at me and back to Rachel. "Well...I spoke to Lord Death and Spirit and they said that maybe Medusa had captured you. But I had thought and had reason to believe that it was her." she said and looked back over to me. "We should probably get going...I think it might rain and I do not think that Rachel would want to be sick." she said. I nodded and picked Rachel up.

"Let's get going then." I said. She nodded and we began to walk to Death City. I would look back every so often to make sure she was following and she still was. "Is there something bothering you?" I asked. She looked up at me and shook her head. I stopped and turned around and she stopped and looked at me. "Alright something is wrong..Now what is it?" I asked. She shrugged and I sighed. I put Rachel down for a second and grabbed Anne's shoulders.

"As my weapon and your meister I have a right to know what is wrong. Now tell me what it is?" I asked. She looked at me for a good long second before she leaned forward and crashed her lips to mine. She moved back quickly and ran off. I stood and was going to chase after her but I could not leave Rachel. I turned and sighed. "Just make it home safely," I mumbled and picked up Rachel.

Anne's POV

I cannot believe I just did that. I sighed and looked at the ground shaking my head. I jumped up into a tree and sighed. I can still feel his soul. I took a breath and thought for a moment. Why did I have to kiss my meister? For crying out loud Anne he is 28 years old and you are only 15. What the hell is wrong with me? I jumped down and sighed. I began to walk to the outskirts of Death City. I stopped and looked around a bit. No one was in sight.

Stein must not have made it into the city yet. I jogged off to Maka's house. I had to talk to her before I could do anything else. I knocked on her door. Soul opened it and smiled a bit. "Maka is in her room. You can come in." he said. I nodded and pushed passed him a bit and walked to her room. I found her on her bed a book in hand and she was ready for bed. She looked at me and smiled warmly. "Hey Anne. What's up?" she asked. I flopped on her bed and rolled off a bit.

She poked me and I looked at her to see her brow raised. "What is it?" she asked. "Tell me...Am I stupid?" I asked. She tilted her head. "Why do you ask such a question? You are up with me and Ox in our grades," she said. "No, not that way. I meant like...I do not know. Well... I uh...Kissed someone." I said and she smiled. "Who was it?" she asked. "My...uh...Meister." I said. She looked at me and her mouth and hung agape. "You kissed Stein!?" she asked.

Before I could cover her mouth Soul was at the door. "Who kissed Stein?" he asked. I flopped back onto the bed as Maka told Soul all about it. He looked at me and smirked. "Well...Do you like him then?" he asked and sat down. I shrugged. "I kissed him did I not? Besides it was the only thing I could think of because he kept asking what was wrong." I said. Maka nodded. "Well, are you going to go back?" She asked. I shrugged again.

"I was wondering if I could just crash here for a bit. This is after all the last place he would think to find me." I said. They looked at each other and nodded. "Yeah, you can stay here." They said. I nodded and stood. "Well...I am going to go steal your couch. If he shows up wake me up...I'll goes to your Dad's if I have to." I said and Maka rose a brow. "Why would you want to stay with a pervert like my Papa?" she asked.

I glanced at Soul. "Hey!" he said. I Smirked and turned around. "Good Night you two." I said. "Goodnight Anne." Maka said. "Night." Said Soul. I walked out to the living room and sighed. I flopped onto the couch not caring if my glasses got bent or smudged. I just had wanted to sleep and think about my actions from earlier. It did not matter what I do. I will have to always face him again. After all, he is my meister and if I want to be a Death Scythe then it is mandatory for me to have one. Who would have throught that I would have fallen for the only doctor in Death City. And the only one that has to be insane. But I guess we all are a little insane.
