Even after speaking to Jessica, Danny decided it was best if he went back home. He didn't want to be in the way of Sarah and Jessica.  If Jessica wanted to end her marriage with Sarah, that was all her.  He wanted nothing to do with it.

When Sarah returned to Minnesota she was a completely different person. She spoiled Jessica more than she ever has before.
Jessica was confused as to why Sarah suddenly started showering her with gifts, and covering her with kisses as often as possible.  Jessica was relieved there wasn't any fighting, but she still felt like something was going on.

"Hey cuddle bug, I made your favorite!" Sarah says, their wedding song playing in the background.

"Thanks Sarah.."

"Nuh uh, what's my name?"

"Sarebear." Jessica says faking a smile.

"That's my girl!" Sarah walks over and grabs Jessica then kisses her lips.

She then pulls away and sings, "The days are shorter but the nights are long
We could fuck in the sun and dance till dawn
and all I want is to be your girl.."

Jessica giggles.

"Sing with me, love." Sarah grabs her hands.

"I don't sing." Jessica nods.

"Oh yes you do, Ms. Mars!"

Jessica laughs and Sarah continues singing.

"I wasn't looking for love but she found me
I got a lot of control when you're not around me

"I love you too, Sar." Jessica smiles softly.

Sarah kisses her lips.

"Mommy, the baby's crying!" Addelyn interrupts.

"Oh, I'm coming, honey. Thank you for calling me."

"No problem." Addelyn smiles.

"I'll be back."

"You silly girl, you're all better now?  You just wanted to throw a little fit, didn't you?"

"Less!  Less!" Dylan shouts.

"Alessia, I think brother wants to play with you!  You wanna play with sissy, Dylan?"

"Ya!"

Jessica smiles and kisses her head before sitting down with the baby.

She blows spit bubbles and hits her hands on her legs.

"Babyyyy!" Dylan shouts.

"Yeah, baby!" Jesica smiles.

"Hey babe." Sarah walks into the living room.

"Yeah?"

"I know we said we were staying here for Thanksgiving, but I don't know if my parents will be able to make it. Maybe we could go to Florida.."

"Sarah, everything is already planned. Besides, Danny's family is all already in town since he has the baby that day."

"Oh well if Danny's family is already in town, then that's it, I guess."

"Sarah, please."

"No Jess, it's fine!" Sarah smiles.

"Mama, baby sis!" Dylan says to Sarah.

Sarah didn't know it, but Jessica caught her rolling her eyes.  It was little things like this that broke Jessica's heart.  It the past few weeks she felt it was getting worse.  Yes Sarah has been nicer to her, but Jessica didn't feel right.  She had this gut feeling something was up.

"Dylan, are you hungry, baby?" Sarah asks.

"Yeah! Come, sissy!"

"No, she doesn't eat big kid food, come on, love."

Sarah picks him up and he reaches for the baby with a sad little face.

Jessica sighs and faces the baby towards her.

"I'm so sorry." She says in a whisper. "I hope you know this isn't your fault. None of this is your fault, baby girl." Jessica says with tears.

Thanksgiving.

Danny was sweet enough to let Jessica keep the baby for the beginning of the day so that she could spend time with her on her first Thanksgiving.

Around 3:00 Danny came for her.
Alessia was dressed in her Thanksgiving outfit, fed and all ready for her daddy.

Jessica's family was all gathered at Jessica's parents' house for dinner, so that's where Danny drove to pick her up.

"Say my daddy's here so I'll see you guys soon!" Jessica baby talks.

Alessia smiles and babbles due to all of the attention she's getting.
She then looks at Sarah and giggles as she reaches for her.

Sarah gives her a blank look before walking away.

Jessica was extremely embarrassed. Her whole family noticed Sarah's rudeness.

The doorbell rang just as Dorothy scoffed at Sarah's actions.

"It's okay, mom-"

"It is not okay! She can't treat my grandchild that way!"

"I know.."

Dorothy marches to the front door and greats Danny like he is the best thing ever. Of course she's always loved Danny, but in this moment she wanted to get under Sarah's skin and Really show her love for him.

"Daniel! You come right on in, your beautiful baby girl is waiting for her daddy! Everyone look, it's Danny!"

"Hey Danny!" Everyone waves.

"Hey guys." He says, smiling shyly.

The kids ran to him with excitement as Sarah left the room.

"We miss you, Danny!"

"I miss you kids too! How's your day going so far?"

"Great! Grandma Dottie made a bunch of yummy food!"

"Yummy!" He chuckles.

"Alright, my princess. Ready to go?" Danny looks at Alessia who was in her mother's arms.

Alessia babbled loudly and kicked her legs as she ate her hands. She then let out a loud piercing squeal.

"I think she's excited!" Jane laughs.

"Oh yeah! She loves her daddy." Jessica smiles.

She kisses her forehead, tells her to be a good girl, then hands her to her father.

"Gobble Gobble!  Look at these chunky little turkey legs!" Danny chuckles and lightly pinches Alessia's thighs.

"Aren't they precious?  Here, wrap her up, it's cold outside.  Call me if you need anything and tell your family I said hello." Jessica smiles.

"Will do! It was nice seeing you all." Danny waves.

"It was absolutely lovely seeing you, Daniel!" Dorothy says loudly.

"Ma, cool it." Jessica says.

"Why?  I Love him!"

"Oh gosh." Jessica sighs and rolls her eyes.

Immediately after Danny left, Ann went down the hall to the restroom. She stopped when she heard a muffled voice. Noticing it was coming from the bedroom, she pressed her ear against the door to listen.

"Yeah Lil, he's here now! That's why I called you. I can't take it anymore!  I can't  keep it up through the holidays like I planed.  I know he has to pick the kid up, but does her damn family have to make such a fuss when they see him?"

...

"I don't know.. but I miss you."

...

"I don't know when I'm going to.. I'm still in the guilty buy whatever she wants and have sex every night stage."

...

"Yeah.. Well I better go.. I love you."

Ann then swung the door open and starts yelling, "Who the hell do you think you are? Hurting my little sister like that! You piece of shit!"

"Excuse me?"

"You're cheating on her!"

"I'm cheating on her?! You do know that's not my baby, don't you? I surely didn't knock her up!" Sarah laughed.

"That was one time, Sarah!  You're cheating on her, and you treat my niece as though she's Satan's baby!"

"Ann, please just mind your own goddamn business."

"Jessica is my little sister. This IS my business! You better come clean to her, and I hope to God she leaves your Sorry Ass!"

"What's going on?" Jessica interrupts.

"I don't know. Sarah?" Ann turns to her.

"Let it go, Ann." Sarah gives her a look that could kill.

"Jessica, she-"

"Ann!" Sarah shouts.

"What's going on, you guys?  And Sarah, stop yelling at my sister!"

"Ann, will you give us a second?"

"You don't hurt her!" Ann says right in Sarah's face.

"What's going on?"

"Jessica.. the past few weeks I've been lying to you.."

"I know."

"You do?"

"I don't feel our love anymore, Sarah. We used to love each other so much! The past few weeks have been so forced.. We've grown apart, Sarah."

"I know.."

"Jessica, there's someone else."

"There is?"

"Lily."

"Oh.."

"I love her."

"The way you used to love me?"

"...I think so."

"You cheated on me with her?"

Sarah takes a pause before nodding.

"I had a feeling.. I just didn't know with who."

"Jessica, I'm sorry! I tried to fix things, You tried to fix things but.."

"We're too broken.. we can't be fixed."

"No.." Sarah whispers.

"I slept with Danny.. more than just the one time. It was before I had Alessia."

"Oh.."

"It was to try to get her here but.. we both knew it was really for us."

"I can't be mad at you.  I was with Lily more than once.."

Jessica sighs and says, "Sarah, I want you to know that you broke my heart. Not because you slept with someone else.. but because of the way you treat my daughter. It hurts me so bad! She didn't do anything to you, and you treat her so horribly!"

"I just can't look at her without thinking of him."

"Him.. He is the most incredible man I have ever met.. and I hate that I have wasted so much time not being with him."

"What?"

"I love him, Sarah!" Jessica softly cries.

"I love him very very much! He makes me so happy.."

"So.. I guess this is it."

"Yeah.."

"I do love you.. and I'm so sorry for hurting you."

"I love you too.. and I'm sorry as well."

Sarah nods and walks out of the room. Getting to the doorway she turns back and says, "I'm gonna take Dylan home and pack a few things. I'm going to Florida."

"Wait but-"

"We'll be back. I'm not keeping him from you."

"Let me say goodbye first."

"Sure. I'll be in the car."

Jessica walked to the living room and grabbed Dylan.

"Dilly Willy. Mommy loves you sweet boy. I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Mama!" He smiles.

Tears roll down her cheeks. Dylan cups her face and gives her a concerned look.

"Mommy's okay. I love you so much! Be a good boy."

Jessica's family watched as she left to take him to Sarah. When she returned she explained what happened. The twins were playing with their cousins so luckily they didn't hear a thing.

"Sarah and I are over.."

"What?! Just like that?!" Jane's eyes widen.

"Yeah! She's been cheating on me and.. I won't stop her from being happy.. because.. there's someone that makes me so incredibly happy.. someone I should have given a chance a long time ago. Someone that is the most amazing father.."

"Is this someone Danny?" Dorothy smiles.

Jessica nods her head. "I'm in love with Daniel Huston!"

"Aw! Then sweetie, go get your man!"

"Now?!"

"Now!" Dorothy shouts.

Jessica giggles and wipes her tears.

"Oh but the twins!"

"Go! They're having fun, just go!" Ann says.

"Okay!" Jessica smiles.

She runs frantically trying to find her coat, keys and purse.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous! Why am I so nervous, it's just Danny!"

"Because you love him!" Ann smiles.

Jessica laughs. "I do!
..Alright, I have everything. I'll see you guys later!"

"Good luck!" Jane shouts.

Driving to Danny's house, Jessica's stomach was in knots.
When she arrived she took a few deep breathes before knocking.

Danny opens the doors holding Alessia.

"Jess? Is everything okay?"

Jessica smiles. She reaches us and grabs the back of his head, going up on her tip toes she gives him the most passionate kiss.

"Woah!" He said when they finally broke apart.

"Danny, I love you! I don't want to ever be with anyone but you! Please please say you still want me!" Jessica says, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Danny doesn't say a word. Instead her grabs her and kisses her once again.
Jessica was so happy.

When he pulled away he placed his forehead against hers and said, "I love you more than you will ever know, Jessica. I love you. I love you. I Love you!"

Jessica smiles and kisses him. It was like they couldn't get enough of each other.
They never ever wanted to let go.
