April 8th.

This morning, Danny woke up early and started on breakfast for him, Jessica, and Alessia.

"Dada?" He hears Alessia's little voice.

"Well good morning, beautiful!"

"Good mornin'!" She giggles.

"You need help, Daddy?"

"Well sure!" Danny chuckles.

"I a big helper!"

"You are!"

"Daddy?"

"What?"

"When we giving Oli away?"

"Uh, we're not giving him away, you goof!"

"Ugh, but he CRIES SO MUCH!"

"And you whine SO MUCH!"

"Daddy.. be sewious." Alessia gives her father a look.

"I am sewious." Danny mocks her little baby voice.

"I like being the baby!" She pouts.

"Well you're the baby girl!" Danny smiles.

"Yeah.." She sighs.

Danny chuckles.
"Are you gonna help me or what?"

"No, I changed my mind! I wanna watch cartoons."

"Well alright!"

"I need you to turn it on for me!" Alessia whines and jumps up and down.

"What do we say?"

"Pwease?  I need to watch it now before the baby wakes up and CRIES!"

"Oh goodness! Life just sucks, doesn't it, Alessia?"

"It does suck, Daddy!"

"Don't let mommy hear you say that word." Danny laughs.

Not long after that, Jessica came down with the baby.

"Good morning, mommy!  I helped Daddy wih bweakfast!"

"Aww!  Thank you, sweet girl!"

"She did not help!  She watched cartoons!" Danny chuckles.

"Ohhh!  You're tellin' stories, Less?"

"Maybe." Alessia shrugs.

Danny laughs and greets Jessica.
"Good morning, Beautiful."

"Good morning!"

"Good morning, Oliver!" Danny kisses his cheek.

Jessica looks down and smiles at the baby.
"He just ate, so he's dozin'."

"Aww.. little buddy."

Danny and Jessica then take their seats to eat their breakfast.

"We gonna go to the park today, okay guys?" Alessia tells them.

"Who put you in charge, little miss?" Jessica asks.

"Me!"

"Oh, I see!  Well I'm so sorry but I think we're staying in today."

"Why?"

"Because Oliver can't quite leave the house yet."

"Then me and Daddy can go."

"That's fine.  If your daddy wants to take you, he can."

"Yay!"

"It's a date, beautiful!" Danny smiles.

Alessia covers her mouth and giggles.
"I got a date, mommy!"

"Oooh!" Jessica giggles.

Sarah's POV.

Sarah was not in a good place right now.  She felt terrible for what she had done the night before.

"Dilly.. Dylan.."

"No.." Dylan says in a low voice, turning his face away from Sarah.

"Honey, I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to."

"You hurt my bottom.. why did you hit me?"

".. I don't know." Sarah says in a whisper as tears roll down her cheeks.

"I love you so much, and I didn't mean to hurt you."

"I want my mommy."

"I have a fun day planned for us though.."

"I don't wanna stay here.  I want to go home with my mommy and my daddy.." Dylan then realizes what he said, and gasped. "No!  I sowy, don't hit me again! Please!"

"No, no.. I'm not gonna hit you..
  You love Danny, don't you?"

"Yeah.. he's my buddy.."

"He treats you well?"

"Yeah.  He's my dad.. I love my dad.." Dylan says with tears slowly running down his face.

"I see.. well..
  I'll take you back later today if you just give me a few hours to make it up to you.  I promise I won't ever hurt you again."

"Okay.."

"I love you."

"I love you too, momma.."

"Can I have a hug?"

"Sure." Dylan climbs over and wraps his arms around Sarah.

"I'm so so sorry." Sarah cries as she holds her baby boy in her arms.

"I don't know what happened to me.  I'm not the person I used to be.."

The Huston's POV.

"Oh you look so beautiful for your date with Daddy!" Jessica smiles.

"Uh huh!" Alessia smiles.

Jessica laughs.

"Alright, you ready, princess?"

"Yes, Daddy!"

"Okay!  Go give mama kiss!"

"Bye Bye, mama!"

"Bye, princess!"

"Bye, Oli!" She screams.

"Oh Lessi!" Jessica sighs.

"I scared him!" She laughs.

Jessica sighs.
"Well you two have fun!"

Danny chuckles.
"Same to you two!"

Danny and Alessia leave Jessica and the screaming baby alone.

"Oh honey, it's okay!" Jessica baby talks.
"Everything's okay!  You and I are having a mommy and son date today!" She smiles and kisses his forehead.

Danny's POV.

Danny first took Alessia to lunch before heading to the park.

"Daddy!  Daddy!  Catch me!" Alessia shouted with excitement.

"I'm gonna get you, Lessi!"

Alessia laughs hysterically and runs from him.

The two run around a little while longer before taking a break.

"Alessia?"

"Yeah, Dada?" She looks up to her father.

"You know, when you were a baby.. and you'd scream and cry-"

"Like Oli?"

"Just like Oli!" Danny laughs.

"Oh boy! How embawassing!" Alessia slams her palm on her forehead, and nods.

"Such a drama queen!" Danny laughs. "Anyway! I used to sing to you, and you'd calm down." He smiles.

"You did?!" Alessia smiles up to her father.

"Yep!"

"What did you sing?"

"A special song for a very beautiful little lady."

"Well.." She shrugs. "Sing it for me!"

Danny chuckles.
"Okay..

"You are!" Danny chuckles.

"Yeah!  Keep singing!"

"Sure!" He laughs.

"Dance with me, Daddy!" Alessia hops off the bench, and grabs her father's hand.

Danny stands up and takes his daughter's hands.

"Sing!  Sing!"

Danny twirls her around and sings.

Alessia giggles.
"I love you so much, daddy! You're the best singer ever!"

Danny lifts her up in the air making her laugh even more. He then kisses her cheeks and says, "I love you more, Princess!"

Jessica's POV.

"Look at my nakey baby boy!  Do you feel better now?  Huh?  You weren't liking your clothes, were you?"

Oliver coos and kicks his legs.

"It's okay, you can be free!" Jessica chuckles.

Just then the doorbell rings.

"Who is that, Oli?  Who is that?!" She baby talks.
"I'll just be a second.  Stay right there!"

Jessica then walks towards the front door.

"Oh!  Hey, what are you guys doing here already?"

"Mommy!" Dylan launches himself towards her.

"Hey buddy!  You okay?"

"I missed you, mommy!"

"Aw sweetheart, I missed you too!" Jessica then looks to Sarah and asks, "Did something happen?"

"No.. he just really missed you guys and wanted to come home so.. I brought him home."

"Oh.. okay!"

"Could I speak to you alone for a second, Jess?"

"Sure."

"Baby Oli!  I want to see my brother!" Dylan kicks his legs to get down.

Jessica stands him up and walks behind him.
"Careful, Dilly!"

"I careful, mama!" Dylan says softly placing a kiss on Oliver's forehead.

"Good boy!" She smiles. "Honey, go get changed into some comfortable clothes, okay?"

"Okay, mommy!  Kiss!" Dylan puckers his lips.

"Muah!" Jessica kisses him, then watches him run off to his room.

Once he's out of sight, Jessica turns to Sarah.
"What's up?"

Sarah sighs and looks down.

"Sar?"

"I hit him."

"You hit him?  Like you spanked him?"

"I got angry.. Lily was telling me what to do.
  She was.. budding in when I didn't need help parenting, like she always does!  And Dylan said he wanted to go with his mommy and daddy.."

Jessica sighs.
"Sarah-"

"I don't know what happened to me, but I got so angry!  I walked over to him and pulled his pants down.. and I hit him so hard..
So many times!" Sarah cries.

"Because he called Danny dad?  Sarah!"

"I know!  I know, Jessica!  I left him alone for a while, and we talked this morning.
  He said he loved Danny.. that he was his buddy, and that he was good to him."

"Well of course he is!"

"I know Danny's a good guy, Jess.. I just.." Sarah sighs. "You know I've always been jealous of him."

Jessica sighs.

"Listen, I'm okay with it, and I apologize for everything!"

Jessica just looks at her.
There was then a pause before Sarah spoke.

"I told Lily to leave."

"You did?"

"Yeah.. we're over."

"Oh.  I'm sorry.."

"I'm not.  I blame her for everything.  It's her fault we're not together anymore."

"Sarah, it's not Lily's fault, and it's not Danny's fault.
  It's our fault our marriage failed.  You can't keep blaming them."

Sarah looks Jessica deep in her eyes.
"I still love you, Jess."

"Sarah-"

"Just please listen!"

"No, Sarah!  I'm engaged!"

"You're engaged?"

"Yes!  Sarah, you and I.. in the beginning, Yes we were amazing!  I thought nothing could be better than what we had!  But we grew apart.  I'm with Danny now, and we're happy.  He makes me so so happy!"

"I'll never meet someone like you, Jess."

"Yes you will, Sar.  You'll meet someone you love even more than you loved me.  Just take time to yourself for a while."

"I will.
.... Jess, Lily got me into.. into drugs and-"

"Drugs, Sarah?"

"Yeah.."

Jessica nods her head with tears in her eyes.

"I know, I know!  I'm going to take some time to work on myself.  Will you be okay with keeping him for a while?"

"Yeah, of course!  You just need to get better."

"I know.."

Jessica reaches forward and hugs her ex lover.
Sarah hugs her back, and inhaled her sweet scent.

She then pulls away and looks her into her eyes.
"I'll always love you, cuddlebug."

Jessica chuckles softly, "I'll always love you too, Sarbear."

Sarah then leans in and softly kisses her lips.
Jessica pulls away and brings her hand to her lips.

"I'm sorry.."

Just then Dylan runs in.
"I'm back!  Look!  I wearing my Batman shirt, with my Batman undies!"

"Oh wow!  Lookin' good, bud!" Sarah smiles.

"Yeah!  Momma, did you say hi to Oli?"

"I didn't get to say hello yet!  Hi, Oli!" Sarah chuckles.

"He's still a baby!  Him just sleep and eat Mommy's boobies!"

"Oh really?" She laughs.

"Yeah!  He issss.. how old is him, mommy?"

"Ten days old!" Jessica smiles.

"Oh yeah!  Him is ten days old!"

"Aw!  He's just a little baby, huh?"

"Yeah!"

Sarah chuckles.
"I better get going.  Come give momma love, Dylan."

Dylan stands up and walks towards Sarah.
"I'm sorry for what happened last night."

"It's okay.. you didn't mean it.."

"You know I love you, right?"

"Mhm." He nods.

"Never forget that, okay?"

"Okay.  I love you too, momma."

Sarah smiles and kisses his cheeks.
"Momma's gonna be gone for a little while, okay?  But I want you to stay with mommy.. and your daddy."

Dylan smiles and hugs Sarah.
Jessica smiles softly.

"I want you to be a good boy, okay?"

"Okay!"

Sarah hugs him once again, and kisses his chubby cheeks.

"I love you so much!
.. I'll see you, okay?"

"See you, momma!"

Jessica then walks to the door to let Sarah out.

"You think Sam will let me swing by and see the kids?"

"Yeah, I'm sure that'll be fine!"

"Okay..
Bye, Jess."

"Bye, Sar." She hugs her.

"Take care of yourself!"

"I will." Sarah smiles.

Just as Sarah walks out, Danny and Alessia walk up.

"What you doing here?" Alessia asks with an attitude.

"I was just dropping Dylan off." Sarah chuckles.
"You look pretty!"

Alessia looks up to her with a very judgmental little face. "I had a date with my daddy, that why I extwa cute."

"Oh!" Sarah laughs. "That's fun!"

"Yep.."

Sarah then looks up to Danny and smiles.
"Take care, Danny."

"You too, Sarah." He smiles.

After shutting the door he asks, "Why is she so smiley?  And not that I'm complaining, but why did she drop him off already."

"DADDY!" Dylan runs to Danny.

"Hey buddy!" Danny lifts him up and kisses his cheek.

"It's a long story, and I'll tell you later.  Just enjoy the cuddles, honey." Jessica smiles.
