Thanks anyone who has ever read or voted on this book, it means a lot. This one will be a Kirk one, but with lots of the other characters.*

Winter resorts were the best. The bitter cold made everyone want to curl up and relax, or ski or snowboard. Jim insisted on snowboarding being an option seeing as skiing was for 'wimps.' Spock and McCoy wanted him to at least try skiing first, McCoy didn't want to have to patch anyone up. Jim put on a pair of skis and made it ten feet before falling flat on his face. But the instant he got a snowboard, he was a pro.

"You scared to try it, Y/N?" Jim asked, sitting beside you on a ski lift.

"I've been skate boarding before, how much harder can it be?" You say, swinging your legs a little. You'd never truly liked heights, but ski lifts were okay.

"Not too much. I'll race you." Jim grinned, looking over at you. His eyes were a very bright blue when he wore dark clothes, like winter jackets. Goggles were sitting on his forehead, his hair spiked.

"You're on. Which slope?" You ask, observing the slopes from the lift.

"How about the hardest?" Jim suggested, pointing to a steep hill with lots of obstacles.

"Sure. It's settled then. What do I get if I win?" You agree, smiling.

"I'll kiss you?" He said, his face turning completely serious. You just laughed.

"Tell you what, I win, I get to slap you as hard as I want on the arm. If you win, you can kiss me in front of everyone and tell them it was my idea." You say, reasoning with him.

"Alright, that's good. I agree." Jim said as the lift reached the top. The two of you slid off and made your way to the hill.

"Ready to lose?" You ask, lining up by Jim.

"Yeah, we'll see if I have to." He smirked, looking down the hill. "Count of three and we go. One. Two. Three."

The two of you were off, speeding down the hill. You were ahead, but not by much. Bobbing and weaving through the trees and rocks, they sped by like blurs. You looked over to check where Jim was and you couldn't see him. "JIM?!" You yelled as loud as your possibly could over the rushing sound. "JI-"

You were cut off by a sharp pain in your right shoulder. The snowboard flew off, speeding down the rest of the mountain. You lay on the ground, blood oozing out from your jacket. The snow had stained red, you slowly blanked out.

Jim woke up, his head pounding. Maybe going down this hill wasn't such a good idea. He reached up to touch his forehead, wincing in pain. Blood was on his fingertips, but he needed to move. Jim decided to walk, moving fast could cause him to crash and make things worse.

He saw you on the ground, gripping your shoulder. You were unconscious, but that didn't stop him from carrying you down the hill. "Oh good god." McCoy mumbled when he saw the two of you.

"Bones, little help." Jim muttered, literally dragging you now. The two of them for you inside. McCoy put your shoulder back in place, it was dislocated, and put a sling on. Jim laid a bunch of blankets on you to keep you warm, the heat in the cabin wasn't the best.

Later that night when you were awake, everyone was sitting around, stunning hot chocolate. "Hey." You groan, sitting up, careful of your shoulder.

"Hey, sorry about making you race." Jim told you, helping you stand and sit by everyone. They were all around the TV, some on the couches and chairs, others on the floor.

"No problem." You mutter, taking Spock's spot on a couch. He moved to floor by Scotty, who goofily grinned at Spock.

"Now that you're sitting by me, you're drinking hot chocolate." He said, smiling.

"Mr. Scott. I do not think that is wise. Sugar messes with Vulcan systems and makes us act as humans could call, drunk." Spock explained, pushing the cup away.

"Why do you think I want you to drink it!" Scotty insisted, bring the cup up to Spock's lip. Spock took a little sip and sat back, away from the cup

"That is all I will drink." Spock said. Scotty sighed and set the cup down.

"You're no fun." He grumbled.

"Anyone want to watch a movie?" Sulu asked, trying to take some focus off of Spock. Everyone nodded and then faced a pressing question, what movie.

"I want something romantic and funny. I watched a movie that had a character that looked exactly like Jim." Uhura suggested, shrugging. "It was an old one, but it was pretty good."

"What movie?" Jim asked, intrigued by the fact that someone looked exactly like him. Even though that was over two hundred years ago.

"This Means War." Uhura answered. "The character acted a little like you too."

"Who's the actor?" Chekov asked, flipping through lists of movies to see if This Means War was on the list.

"Uhh, Chris Pine I think." Uhura answered.

"Chris Pine. That's a cool name. He must be one handsome dude if he looks like me." Jim muttered, smiling at his joke.

"He does look a lot like you." Chekov pointed out when he found the movie. "It looks like a decent movie, good ratings. Very old though."

"Let's see how this Chris Pine guy is as an actor." McCoy said, sitting back, wrapped in blankets. He wasn't too thrilled about watching a movie with a guy that looked like Jim, especially playing a character that acts like Jim.

Jim loved some of the scenes in the movie. Mainly Chris Pine making out with the other character Lauren. Made him imagine that he was the one really making out with that girl.

"Any other movies now that this one is over?" Sulu asked, sighing as the movie finished.

"How about Deep Impact. It's another old one, older than This Means War. Science fiction. It's pretty good." You suggest, shrugging. "Ouch." You wince from the pain.

"Don't do that." McCoy warned.

"You don't say." You growl, closing your eyes from pain.

Deep Impact was on the list of movies, so everyone watched it. You and Uhura cried at the end. Uhura curled up into Spock's arms, Spock shocked.

Everyone talked till one by one they went to their own bunks. You and Jim were the only ones left, sitting next to each other on the couch. "Who one the race?" Jim asked, looking over at you.

"I don't know. Maybe we tied." You say, looking into his eyes. You were still wrapped up in blankets, him the same.

"Okay, then we meet in the middle. We still kiss, but you get to slap me." Jim said, moving closer.

"How about we kiss and I save the slap for when you deserve it." You suggest, sitting closer to him.

"I agree with that." Jim mumbled, leaning in to kiss you. Both of you kissed, your lips surprisingly cold. A few seconds passed before a voice cut the two of you off.

"I knew this would happen." Scotty said, laughing. "You Jim, are like that Chris Pine guy's character, FDR."

"Only this time there isn't a love triangle. Just us." Jim muttered, kissing you again.

"Hey Kirk, I said one kiss." You mumble, moving away a little.

"Are you two a thing now?" Scotty asked, still excited. Now everyone knows, no giving Scotty access to hot chocolate or alcohol. The alcohol was a different story.

"I guess we are." You say, smiling at Jim.

"Good." He said, helping you stand to get to your bed. You fell asleep quickly after Jim helped you lay down. He kissed your forehead and crawled into his bed. Weekend vacations can be the best.
