Spock
Away missions with just two people can be amazing. But they can also be deadly. You and Spock were on a planet to observe plant life, there wasn't any animal or civilizations.
The planet was filled with plants. Plants, plants, and plants. Sulu would love it. Rocks were eroded away from the roots of the plants, making them crumble.
"Y/N, the rocks ahead are particularly loose. Please walk with caution." Spock said, staring down at a tricorder. You nodded and kept walking ahead, careful of the unsteady rocks under your feet.
One rock slipped and your foot was caught. "Spock!" You yelled, franticly trying to pry your foot free. Spock set the tricorder down and ran over, trying to help you out. "Spock..Spock?" You ask, noticing him. He had paused, staring up at the rocks above.
"Y/N!" He yelled, tackling you to the ground. Spock held you tight, himself laying on top of you as the rocks pelted above you two.
"Spock!" You yell, your voice drowned out by the sound of rocks hitting rocks. Minutes passed before the sounds of rocks breaking and thumping. "Spock?" You ask, trying to move. It was surprisingly easy.
You carefully managed to pull yourself out of the rocks, Spock still not moving or speaking. You looked yourself up and down, checking for injuries. There was adrenaline running through your body, so you most likely wouldn't feel much pain if there was an injury. You were uninjured, except for some cuts and bruises. Spock was another story.
You carefully walked on the rocks, losing your balance every once in a while when the rocks moved. "Spock.." You mutter, lightly shaking his shoulder. To your relief, he started coughing and carefully sat up, ignoring the pain in his arm.
"Y/N..." He mumbled, his voice hoarse. Dust caked the inside of his mouth and throat, causing a choke/coughing feeling.
"It's okay, can you stand?" You ask, carefully helping him sit up. His leg was twisted at an odd and painful angle, green blood was slowly seeping through the black fabric of his pants. "Okay, never mind stupid question.."
"If you we can get back to the ship, I will be fine." Spock said, shifting himself into a better position. You took the communicator off your belt and sighed. It was practically smashed, stuck together through some remaining wires.
"My commutator is broken, but if I have yours I can probably make one so we can at least send a signal of where we are to the Enterprise." You say, taking his communicator from his belt. "Want to get somewhere else? More safe?"
"Yes. That would be the logical decision." Spock said, looking over at you before down at his leg. You carefully walked over, putting his arm over your shoulder. Together, the two of you stood up and started hobbling over to the edge of the rock slide, avoiding every slippery rocks you could.
Exhaustion started to take over after you had carried him for a while. His weight began to become heavier and heavier the further you walked. Not able to take another step, you set him down under a large tree. You sighed and slid down the trunk of the tree, closing your eyes. Still exhausted, Spock pulled you into his arms and held you as you slowly drifted off into sleep.
The next morning you woke up still in Spock's arms. He was asleep, but still very injured. Carefully, you moved out of his arms, starting to get to work on the communicator.
"Y/N.." Spock muttered, his eyes slowly fluttering open. You looked over at him and smiled. "I was wondering..if when we get back to the Enterprise... Would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Um..." You mutter, completely shocked. You never thought a man would ever have interest in you, let alone actually asking you out.
"You can think about it if you'd like. I was just wondering and I've never had the courage to really ask. I won't be offended if you say no, but I will be thrilled, I guess, if you say yes. Truly, I-"
"Spock, yes I will go out with you." You say, just as you restored the communicator and the two of you were beamed back to the Enterprise.

*possible trigger warning, most likely not but you never know*
So, I'm sorry if this wasn't really good. I've had a super rough past few days because of stress and just feeling awful. I practically fainted one day and I didn't eat a single thing on Tuesday, so I was exhausted. I haven't really had the energy for a while, so I apologize if this was horrible.
