Lily's POV :

"My house is literally one of the greatest places in this city. My father bought it for me a year ago.It's pretty huge, with the perfect view. My mom also gifted me a BMW on my last birthday. Oh, did I mention that I have a beach house in West London-"

I mentally sighed. George had been rambling about his money and house for the last 45 minutes.....while I was still thinking about Zayn's outburst.

How could he?! That idiot, stupid, annoying, kind and handsome....Wait.... No! I didn't mean that....

Anyways..... Why did Zayn got so angry and furious? What the fuck is wrong with him?!

"Are you listening, Lily?"

"Yeah, sure." - I faked a smile. We were sitting in some stupidly expensive restaurant and.....I was feeling out of the place.

I tried to concentrate on the grey eyed guy sitting in front of me.

Zayn had such pretty eyes...captured with unbelievably long eyelashes....I used to make fun by calling them doe-eyes.....But he'll never know how much I love those chocolate brown eyes....

At that moment, I realized something. Fighting with Zayn for calling me pathetic was a better option than listening to George's ramble about his money.

And you know what?! That's exactly what I was going to do.

"George? Thanks for the date....I'm sure your house is lovely and rich, or whatever. But I gotta go now." I said before walking towards the exit.

"Will you call me when you reach home?" George asked from where he was sitting.

I couldn't answer. The cold air of winter afternoon hit my face as I left the restaurant. I put my arms around myself to shield my body from the cold as I made my way to Zayn's house.

* 3rd Person's POV: *

"Guys...Zayn is really feeling low.." Liam trailed while the four boys were
talking in a whatsapp group call.

"Yeah, I'm feeling bad for screaming at him earlier...." Louis said shamefully.

"Let's go check up on him then." Niall suggested.

"Yeah. I can pick Louis from his place." Harry said.

"And I'll pick Niall. See you guys at Zayn's." Liam confirmed before cutting the call.

"Guys?" Zayn asked in a broken voice, "What are you all doing here now?"

"We came to check on you." Niall smiled proudly.

"Thank you so much guys...."

"And Zee, sorry for yelling at you the other day.." Louis apologised.

"It's fine bro." Zayn smiled before pulling Louis in a side hug. Soon after, the 5 of them pulled each other in a warm group hug.

[A/N: I'm crying]

The entrance door suddenly opened and shut loudly, causing the boys to release each other.

Heavy footsteps echoed the house and after a moment, Lily appeared in the doorway. She was panting heavily while her eyes were examining the room.

Her eyes suddenly stopped on Zayn, and, on the other hand, Zayn was staring at Lily with wide eyes and parted lips.

They met in the middle of the room. Lily glared up at Zayn, fists clenching.  Regret was written all over Zayn's face, he ducked his head shamefully.

The boys, on the other side of the room, were preparing themselves to witness the murder of at least one of their friends.

But.....

Then something happened.

Something they weren't ready for.

"Sorry," Zayn whispered underneath his breath. That's when he realised how close they were standing, only a few centimetres apart, so close that he could count her eyelashes........

Without thinking, Zayn closed the distance between them as he captured Lily's lips in his. They were holding each other like their life depended on each-other.

"What the fuck?!" - Harry whisper-yelled.

"C'mon guys, let's get out of here." Liam ordered as they left the couple to themselves.
