Shadow POV

Right after the class finished, we rushed to the hospital where Aliaa's. For now, we're on our way, and it seems like we are almost there. ( Shadow: I hope so cause I'm losing my breath-)

I'm glad that the class ended. After all, I can't even concentrate on any second of the lesson.

What my mind all day was tons of questions. Not just about Aliaa. It's about Taiya and what my uncle tell me last night too.

"Ugh! This is so mess up!!" - I thought to myself.

Today is freaking horrible. For some reason, I've been dizzy, coughing a lot, and feeling nauseous all day. But, I was able to hide it in front of Arashi.

Even worse, The rumors are spreading around too fast, and we still can't find any suspects.

I thought we wouldn't be bothered by bullies anymore, but they increased. What a wonderful world we living in, huh? They hit us because we damage someone who causes pain to us, they say hurtful things as if we were never even human. So, this is what it feels like to be the villain of the story? 

Luckily, Arashi wasn't hurt (I did get hurt protecting him, I didn't say it to him tho). I'm used to being mocked too, and Arashi. I'm kind of worried about him. Arashi didn't say a word all day, just silently dragged me away when it was time for lunch. He didn't even say anything when he gets bullied.

I'm annoyed with all of this, but Arashi must be even more annoyed than I am. I'm sure he's in quite a panic. Now I hope he doesn't blame himself. It will only make him worse.

" I might over dose the medicine."

After arriving at the hospital, we quickly went to Aliaa's room.

-"207... It's this room, right?"

I am still confused to knock on the door, but the "person" behind me is out of patience, so I have to. I slightly knock on the door, hoping that I got the correct room.

-Come in - Aliaa's warm voice resounded.

-"Yes! I got the right room!"- I turned the doorknob and entered.

- H-hey Aliaa - I said, sightly closing the door

Seeing us, she widened her eyes in surprise but then quickly flashed a bright smile.

-Are you two coming to visit me? Thank you

- Sorry for not informing you in advance. We just ran here from school, so we weren't prepared. - I smile awkwardly. 

- No, no. It's fine! I'm glad that you guys are here. Wait. What happens to your face Shadow?? And your arms too! Are you okay!? - She looked at me in worry.

- I'm fine, I'm fine. It's going to heal soon. The thing we have to worry about now is your injury and Arashi.

- what the heck - The psycho (Arashi) finally speaks.

- Why me!?? What did I do!??

- Now you start talking. You're saying nothing is a big problem too, Mr. Hoteru. - I smirk ( Shadow: Everything seems sad, so lets me make things a bit better )

-Hey!-

- Okay, Back to the topic. Are you okay now, Aliaa? Does it still hurt? ^^

Right before Arashi could curse at me, I cut him off and turned to ask about Aliaa's condition. At least now I know he's better than he was at school. "Seeing Aliaa make you better, huh?"

- You got stabbed, didn't you? Is the wound too deep?

- It is not too deep, no worries. I only need to rest for a few days until the wound heals. I'll be back at school soon. I can't stay here for long since my Best Friends are in danger. You guys got bullied today, didn't you? - Aliaa signed

-H-how did you know - Arashi surprised

-First, I have to say I didn't get hurt because of you, so Don't you dare blame yourself, Arashi. You didn't say much since you come here, there is something on your mind, right? I'm fine now. No worries. - Aliaa smiled comfortingly at Arashi.

- Second, Shadow got lots of bruises. About his eye, I don't think the bully will do that hard. Maybe his relative or his "parents" did it to him. But I'm talking about his arms. It had a long bruise from the wrist down almost to the elbow. Furthermore, your hands and face were also slightly scratched. Shadow protected you from the bullies, did he? That's why you're not much injured. So our guess about bullies is wrong. They are not decreasing but increasing right. - She tilted her head, giving a smile that we both feared. Sometimes, That's the smile when she is mad and about to punch us.

Right at that moment, both of us are surprised. The two of us turned to look at each other and then back at Aliaa. She reads too many detective stories.

But she said it's not wrong. The number of bullies is indeed more, and so are the reasons for my injury.

- You read Sherlock Holmes too much!!- Arashi said dejectedly. It seems he was planning to hide his bully from Aliaa.

-But the thing I said is true, am I right? - Aliaa chuckles

- Yep, You're not wrong at all - I replied to Aliaa.

Just like that, we started talking to each other for a long time. Our laughter continued until the evening light turned blue.

It's good to know that Aliaa is fine. It relieved me somewhat. At least I can relax a little tonight.

- Well, we have to go home. We'll text you later. We'll be back tomorrow afternoon, too - Arashi said as he pulled me to sit up.

- Goodbye, Alia. Remember to rest so you can go back to school with us - I waved to her and closed the door.

- Bye, guys!

- GET BACK HERE, YOU BRAT!! - His screams echoed up to the 3rd floor. It is the fucking second time my uncle hits me right after I drink my medicine. MY GOD DAMN MEDICINE.

I ran up to my room while gagging. I'm not okay right now.

"It's almost time to meet Arashi, Damn it!!"

I ran to the bathroom and locked the door, Then started coughing like crazy.

"Fuck this..."- I walked over to the sink.

Taking my hand away from my mouth, I widened my eyes in surprise.

Blood. My hand was covered in red blood.

I stared at it with fear, but the coughs still didn't stop. 

I coughed non-stop for three to four minutes. That dark red liquid continued to leak out more and more and I can't stop it. 

-I-Is this the consequence of overdose those medicines? - I shivered as I looked at myself in the mirror. 

-"How terrible... I looks awful." Not only about the blood, but my face also has new bruises thank to my "Dear uncle". 

But then, I forced a smile. I deserved this. I'm the one who decides to drink it after all. Taking a strange medicine from a stranger.

"Happy Pills" at least eased my sadness quite a bit. They also have a long shelf life. One pill is enough for the whole morning. I've been using them a bit too much lately. I need to think of a solution to stop relying too much on this. 

-Let's wash my hand quickly and pretend that didn't happen!

After washing my hands and face, I slowly unlocked the bathroom door and went to my room.

It seems like my uncle is asleep. I don't hear him screaming for me anymore. Well, That's a good thing uvu

Once again, I locked the door. I didn't want anyone to come into my room and find out where I had gone. That only caused more trouble for me.

Quickly, I took the rope from under the bed and tied one end to the foot of the bed, the other end hanging down the window. Before leaving, I took one more pill.

-"Just a precaution."

And just like that, he slipped out of the house and ran to the riverbank.

When I got there, I saw Arashi lying on the grass.

- Hello! Waiting for contraband?

- Not really- What's wrong with your face!? - Seeing the wound on my face, Arashi stood up and asked.

- I'm fine, Arashi. Calm down! - I put on a smile. Hide the bruises with my right hand.

- No, you're not! Stop pushing me away and say that you're fine! - he approached me and removed my hand away.

-...God. Did that old man do this to you? - He looked at my injury, lowering his voice.

-It's going to heal soon, don't worry. Now, give me some space bro! - I push him away. He looks scarier than my uncle when he's drunk.

-we're here to talk and RELAX. Not to get angry or Depressed, ok? NOW, SIT DOWN AND RECLINE!-  I said as I forced him to sit down. I don't want him or me to get in trouble with that old man.  

-I swear to god I'll kill him... - Arashi mumbled

-No, just NO. Dude, chill '-'

After about 2 to 3 minutes, Arashi finally calmed down. Lying on the grass, I sighed. He needs to learn to control his anger issue -_-

-Hey, why didn't you tell me anything when you got bullied, Arashi? - I ask him, looking at the night sky.

-why should I? So you can get hurt?

-I agree that I'm weak but not THAT weak! I can still protect others!

-Look at your fucking arm, Shadow.

-...we're not going to talk about that!

-Yeah, yeah - He smirks

-So, did you remember anything about that girl?

-I can't. I once got hit hard angst the wall by my mother which causes me to lose some memories.

-Dang, Your mother is Evil.

-Don't insult my mother. Say that to your aunt and uncle. 

-I hate the fact that It's true.

-You sure do!

                                                                 ....

Arashi POV

-The next day

Looking at the clouds floating in the blue sky, I relax. "This class is boring."

Luckily for me, my seat was at the back of the class, and no one cared about me, especially when I still had a false reputation for murder.

-" You know, you can talk to me whenever you bored~"

-" I would rather die"

-"Don't say that. In the end, you only have me, Arashi."

-" what do you mean "In the end"!? Shadow and Aliaa will never leave me! Also, I don't need you to be with me, you annoying little brat!"

-" Arashi, Dear, why are you so blind? They will leave you soon, especially your best friend - Shadow. Unlike me, they won't stay with you forever."

-"Zip it! Don't talk about my friends like that and leave me alone!"

-Hey! Earth calls Arashi. Hello? Are you there? 

-what the fuck, Shadow? 

-Class ended 6 minutes ago. I've been calling for you for 5 minutes straight. Are you good, man? - Shadow looks at me confused.

-Yeah, I'm fine. Just space out for a little bit. Anyways, let's go eat lunch - I quickly grabbed some money from my bag and dragged Shadow out of the classroom. (No one makes lunch boxes for us and we don't have the money to make them, so I usually buy cakes from the vending machine at school for the two of us.)

Somehow, I'm still afraid of being looked at by the whole class. I realize they've been looking at me for quite a while now that's why I try to get out of there as fast as possible;-;

-Arashi, Chill.

-Uh, How about NO??? - I said as I dragged him to the rooftop after buying two cakes. I think the rumor spreads to the whole school.

While Arashi hurriedly dragged Shadow away to hide from all eyes, he had no way of knowing that someone was watching him nearby.

Hiding in the nearby wall, a hand-held girl looked at the two of them with hatred. Gripping a knife along the paper with a letter, she smiled cruelly.

- You will pay for what you did, Arashi Hoteru.

However, I still like this chapter -v- I'll try my best to post chapter 9 before or at 14/6 ( because I'll have a little surprise that day for you guys ^^) so wait for it -v-
