Well, after mentioning music/musicians in this book, I thought "hey, why not post a video of myself playing something?" followed immediately by a rush of impulse, because hey, if I don't do it now I probably never will. So I recorded myself playing the first movement of Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)
I know this isn't the most *complicated* piece in my repertoire, but I loove playing it so much.
But first, a few disclaimers-
-Yes, my piano may be slightly out of tune. It's due for a check up.
-No, I am not a professional musician as of right now.
-I learned this piece a long time ago. Thus, it is not polished. I make mistakes in the video.
-For people who know this piece really, really well: I screwed up in one of the last measures. Yes, I improvised something so I wouldn't have to stop. I lost my place on the music. These things do happen.
