"The Prime Universe--last of the old, first of the new. The hub it revolves around. Here, science can be magic. Here, we can rewrite every story." - The Maker (Marvel Universe. Earth-1610)

Peter could still feel it... could still feel their ghostly fingers raking against his skin... could still see it within this terrible dream.
The Black Mist from the Shadow Isles blocking out the sky above them... King Viego armed with Sanctity or Soulrender, the Blade of the Camavor Kings and Queens... Green lightning cracking across the sky, and the roars of Dragons, the moaning and screeching in the air
The spirits whispering in the air... the roars of Commander Ledros fighting against the Spirit of Vengeance Kalista... Sarah Fortune, Pyke, and Illaoi fighting against the former Tyrant of Bilgewater: Gangplank who laughed into the air, runes carved into his body... Yasuo and his undead brother Yone pushing back against the ghosts and demons that had followed Viego... Braum rescuing all of the people he could never stopping, never slowing down, using the shield made by a god to aid him... Ahri, and Ben aiding him against Thresh whose eyes only remained on Peter, wanting to take his soul, to claim it as his own.
And then... the final moment as they planned to seal away the Last King of Camavor, the Ruined King of the Shadow Isles. He roared and screamed at them... screaming for his love, for Isolde, even as Ahri forced every bad memory of their marriage into his mind, while Illaoi used the power of Nagakabourous to keep him down with Braum freezing the water... but he pushed through and tried to kill Peter...
But instead... He had made a mistake... Peter had fought to survive... tried to force Sanctity or Soulrender out from his gut, feeling the life essence of his soul, of his spirit... Only to end up binding his soul to the blade... another wielder chosen to wield the blade of Sanctity, a man who didn't have a drop of Royal Camavoran Blood in his veins.
And yet he was still chosen... that had shocked Viego, made him hesitate, made him rage against Spider-Man and gave Sarah Fortune the opportunity to use the artifact needed to seal away Viego...
But Viego's eyes had widened, pierced with anger, fear, and disdain... and his final words haunted Peter even now.
"YOU! YOU HAVEN'T WON! I WILL RETURN! AND ALL OF YOU WILL DIE FOR KEEPING ME FROM MY LOVE! FOR LYING TO ME! FOR DECIEVING ME! I! WILL! KILL YOU! EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU!"
------------------------------------------------
Peter sat up immediately, his breathe quickening in an instant, sweat drenching his body, while he was dressed in an old white stained t-shirt, and simple black shorts. He wiped his forehead, and gasped, grabbing the bottom of his t-shirt and pulled it up, clutching his stomach. The wound was close, the feeling of Sanctity gone... for the moment. Peter sighed letting go of his shirt. He closed his eyes and wiped his eyes, a small yawn leaving his lips.
He could hear it now, the honking of the car horns outside his apartment, the radio of one of his loud neighbors close by. Peter smiled and turned his head, only for the smile to turn into a frown as he saw it...
Sanctity, or Soulrender... The Blade of Viego, the Ruined King, leaning against the fire escape window, as it gleamed softly in the sunlight leaking in from the window. Before Peter had left Runeterra, he had tried desperately for Illaoi, Sarah, Ahri, Yasuo, Braum and even Pyke to take it. Braum had refused at first not wanting to take a weapon that Peter had earned. Illaoi had spoken about the strange magic of the blade, mentioning how it would never leave Peter's presence, something that was proving to be more and more true. Ahri would have taken it but the blade had came right back to Peter. Pyke offered to take it to the depths of the sea but even then it didn't work... and it turned out that Peter was the owner of the blade now and had brought it home to 616, and needed to find answers about the blade.
Sanctity/Soulrender. The Blade Of The Ruined King
The sword or rather Zweihandler had been carved out of an unknown material and based on what he learned from the current Sorcerer Supreme: Wanda Maximoff, the ghost of Stephen Strange, and the Demonchild of the Alaska X-Men: Illyana Rasputina... it was made from inhumane hands, hands that could only be from some kind of spirit realm, made and forged to take souls and cleave them apart, to be used by strong, noble and ambitious hands.
Peter hadn't wanted the sword, so he gave it to Wanda to keep it safe. She had vowed to do so... but the sword had come back to Peter again, and again. Wanda, and Strange had put on different runes, spells, hexes, charms, whatever they could... but the sword kept coming back, again, and again, and again. Illyana had volunteered to take it, and still it came right back to Peter, appearing in his apartment regardless of the spells used.
Peter groaned, pushing himself up, and moved to the blade.
"... You are really annoying, y'know that Sanctity..." Peter muttered, his mind drifting to the hammer Mjolnir wielded by the Norse God of Lightning Thor. Peter hummed, crossing his arms, "... Maybe if I gave you to the Asgardians you would leave me alone..."
Peter sighed and moved towards his cellphone close by, and began typing in the phone number for the Sanctum Sanctorum. He leaned back against the wall, while his phone began ringing waiting for an answer. He smiled when the phone was finally picked up.
"Spider-Man... let me guess. Soulrender?" Wanda's voice came through the phone.
"Yep... Found it right in my home. Are you sure theres no way to permanently remove it from coming back to me" Peter began watching the sword carefully.
"The Runes and Hexes I placed on the blade last time would be enough to keep a Demigod stuck" Wanda began, while the sound of pages being turned were heard from the other side of the phone, "I would have to seek out stronger spells, and even then I imagine Soulrender would break free again"
"..." Peter said nothing tapping his finger on the phone, his thoughts drifting towards the first spells that Wanda had stumbled upon some time ago "What if we tried that other idea?"
"Spider-Man. No. I won't sever the soullink between you and that sword" Wanda immediately stated, "Soulrender has linked itself to your soul, just like it did to the Ruined King and his ancestors before him. Severing the blade from your soul, would do untold damage to your own soul... But..."
Wanda sighed and Peter could almost see her rubbing one of her temples.
"I will look into it, to safely sever the connection... Be safe out there Spider-Man" Wanda stated, and ended the call.
Peter groaned, placing the phone to the side, and moving through his apartment. Soulrender, Sanctity, the Blade of the Ruined King or whatever name that the sword had used remained where it was while Peter prepared for the day. His thoughts drift to one of his clone brothers: Ben Reilly, the first Scarlet Spider.
He was no longer Chasm, and has been going to therapy ever since he got back. Peter had been joining in on some of these meetings with his therapist, a woman by the name of Andrea Sterman. Peter was skeptical at first, especially after he had already tried therapy once and the result... well... It ended up traumatizing the therapist. But those doubts quickly faded away when Peter found out she was the assigned therapist of Moon Knight. So far, she had been a great help for Ben, helping him in processing everything that had happened in a healthier manner, with Andrea speaking to Peter after some of these meetings, with Ben's permission.
(A/N: This is true. Andrea Sterman has been Moon Knight's therapist during Jed McKay's run of Moon Knight, Vengeance of Moon Knight, and Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu, and has become an ally to the Midnight Mission, Moon Knight's little group of vigilantes and a refuge to the travelers of the night)
And today... Peter had agreed to meet up with Ben Reilly for an hour long patrol around New York City, just to spend some time together. Apparently Ben was also bringing someone along. Peter wouldn't mind the company and in case one of his super villains decided to show up, it would be much easier to take them down.
Peter hummed to himself, preparing for the day, letting a slice of bread cook in the toaster, and preparing his webshooters with fresh web fluid strapped into them. His eyes drifted towards a spare Webshooter... a modified webshooter with a jackpot like slot near it made to fire out different variants of his web fluid, some with electricity or tightly packed together... with tiny specks of pink, and blue paint across them. Peter stopped for a moment, his mind drifting to the insane, gadget-making, long blue haired woman with crazy pink eyes that lived on the edges of Bilgewater... with a guilty past that could rival that of the Green Goblin... and then it drifted to the friends he made back in Bilgewater.
Ahri, the Nine Tailed Fox, a powerful mage that he had fought beside a couple times, a guilty past had followed her but now she was focused on finding a new path, a way to understand herself and her ancestors. Braum, the Heart of the Freijlord, a gentle giant with a large door that he had reclaimed as a weapon, he was an Iceborn but he was so full of joy, happiness, and wonder, Peter was so happy that they had found some of the Waters of Life to cure the sickness spreading in the Freijlord. To Illaoi, the Kraken Priestess of Nagakabourous, the Truth Bearer of the Buhru, her faith and demeanor had reminded Peter constantly of Wakanda's culture, but she had been strong, steadfast, and willing to push her faith, even willing to break certain parts of the culture in order to get closer to Nagakabourous and stop the Ruined King. To Pyke, the Bloodharbor Ripper and one of the first people he had fought against, he was a revenant, a man on some mission to slaughter anyone that had betrayed him, all of them written on a list that just kept getting longer. To Sarah Fortune, or Miss Fortune, the Pirate Queen of Bilgewater and the Serpent Isles, a position she took when she took her revenge on Gangplank, the Tyrant of Bilgewater when she had attempted to kill him and had detained him during the return of the Ruined King... He wished she had joined them in the celebrations. To Yasuo, the Unforgiven, a Ronin from Ionia, who had journeyed to Bilgewater, like Ahri to find a new path, to discover a new purpose... and when his brother Yone had come to fight against the worst Harrowing that Bilgewater had faced, he had found it once more.
There were others of course... Yorick, the Monk of Helia before its destruction. Maokai, a powerful spirit tree that had aided Ahri and then the others after a massive confusion. Commander Ledros and General Kalista, two warriors from Camavor who witnessed the Ruination and became ghosts, spectres... but now they have each other, until they can finally be freed... Then... there was the one who had modified his webshooters spilling specks of blue and pink paint... Jinx, a criminal who ran away from a city called Piltover, broke the cycle of violence by leaving it all behind, and settled in Bilgewater, trying to be 'better'... she showed him her past, paper clippings of her crimes, of how she just wanted to be alone... without anyone... But she was still there, fighting against the Ruined King's assault...
"... Maybe... we'll meet again... some day..." Peter spoke to himself smiling, and the ding of the toaster went off as he fired a web shot grabbing the piece of toast and resumed getting ready for the day.
Peter moved around his apartment, getting his gear, everything he needed, finished his breakfast and dawned his Spider-Man mask. He chuckled, and leapt out of the window. The red and blue Spider-Man suit gleamed out, the wide white eyes shining out.
Peter B. Parker/The Amazing Spider-Man
(Universe: Earth-616-MLDW)
(A/N: The MLDW is something I'm throwing in just for fun. It's going to be the new Earth-616 Designation post the Incursion)
"GOOOD MORNING NEW YORK CITY!" Spider-Man yelled out cheering as he swung through the city, making a clear path to the meetup spot for him, Ben Reilly, and the third guest that would be joining them.
Spider-Man laughed carefree through the air, and saw the meetup spot rather quickly, as he saw Ben Reilly on a nearby rooftop, dressed in the classic red and blue Scarlet Spider suit. Spider-Man smiled behind his mask, and landed beside the first Scarlet Spider, who turned his head towards him.
Benjamin 'Ben' Reilly/The First Scarlet Spider
(Universe: Earth-616-MLDW)
The two brothers sat in silence, until Ben sighed and turned towards his brother.
"Thanks... for... meeting up with me" Ben said slowly, stretching his left arm forward, trying not to feel stiff, "I... I'm sorry, again, for... all the Chasm nonsense..."
Peter only smiled, pulling up his mask partially, and kept his gaze on his brother. They had this same conversation again and again... Ben would not stop apologizing about the Chasm situation, and Peter would keep forgiving him, and sometimes hugging him to offer additional comfort. He knew Ben needed it and Peter would always provide. Ben was his brother, and Peter loved his brothers, his family.
"Ben... I'll say it again, and I'll always say it... I forgive you, you were being manipulated by the Beyond Corporation, and the radioactive polymer especially didn't help" Peter stated bringing his hand out and holding his shoulder, "But now your back... back in the red and blue, and in the strangeness of the crazy Parker family"
Ben rolled his eyes behind the mask and chuckled to himself.
"... Thanks Pete... uh... Kaine... should be here soon" Ben began, tapping his foot against the roof.
"You invited Kaine?... Have you two... made up, after... y'know" Peter continued twirling his hands around struggling to form the words he needed.
"After I killed him, him coming back after Shathra's Spider-Verse failed coup, and me and my girlfriend tried to almost kill him..." Ben finished for Peter listing what happened in the past, turning his head towards his template and older brother "We... kind of made up... but... he might be tense. You know how Kaine is"
"... Don't we both. But he is one protective mama bear. You'll be fine" Peter said reassuringly and patted Ben's back reassuringly.
"... Let's hope so..." Ben added mournfully, as he looked up and saw him...
Kaine Parker swinging towards them, dressed in the red and black Scarlet Spider suit that he had worn since his crime fighting back in Houston. Ben tensed seeing his clone brother approaching them. Peter rubbed Ben's shoulder reassuringly as Kaine landed on the rooftop, and removed his mask to look at them.
Kaine Parker/The Second Scarlet Spider
(Universe: Earth-616-MLDW)
"... Hey Pete... Ben..." Kaine started moving towards Ben, who stood up immediately.
"Hi... Hi Kaine... I uh... t-thanks for-" Ben began, only for Kaine to reach out grabbing the front of Ben's outfit, "Okay. Okay. You're pissed, I get it, I get it. But-"
"Ben. Shut. Up..." Kaine stated, and Ben nodded swiftly, shutting up easily. "... I have rehearsed this so many times in my head... All of the things I could say, both the good and the bad... But now, here you are... back to normal, after making a mess of so many fucking things, from the Dark Web bullshit, to the crap you did in Vegas, and now..."
"Kaine. He-" Peter began only for Kaine to snap his head in Peter's direction, making Peter flinch but Peter continued, "He's trying his best, to make amends and fix the mess he made"
"I know Pete... I fucking know that... I went everywhere y'know... To that damn therapist, to Julia, to Cindy, to every single Spider-Person in this city... and they all said the same thing... 'The Scarlet Spider is back to normal'" Kaine began, tightening his hold on Ben but he let him go making Ben stumble back, "... I fucked up a long time ago, the shit that Jackal did to us was just like what the Beyond Corporation did to you. I'm surprised they're still in business with the stuff he pulls but... I'm... I'm glad you're back Ben. Really"
Ben smiled and so did Peter. Ben took a step forward and brought his hand forward.
"... Brothers?" Ben asked, only for Kaine to smirk and punch Ben in his gut, making him groan out as he clutched his stomach, and fell to his knees. Peter froze immediately only for Kaine to chuckle.
"That was for killing me... but... yeah" Kaine began and brought his hand down for Ben to grab, "Brothers"
"... Jackass..." Ben groaned, grabbing Kaine's hand.
Peter let out the breath that he was holding. Kaine chuckled while Ben glared at him from behind his mask but his expression softened. Peter smiled watching his brothers, his mind drifting to Aunt May and Teresa... he should check on them both, make sure that May is okay, and that Teresa is safe in the CIA and SHIELD.
"Hehe... glad to see you two getting along. Maybe after our patrol we can stop by and see Aunt May and Teresa" Peter stated doing a quick stretch while Ben and Kaine froze, turning to Peter.
"Who's Teresa?" Ben and Kaine asked.
Peter stopped, and realized that he had never told them about her... About their sister. One that wasn't a clone, wasn't a skrull or anything else. Someone who was his sister by pure blood, experience, and care.
(A/N: The events of the new Spider-Man and Wolverine Comic have not happened, so Teresa is still believed to be Peter's sister)
"... Uh... She's our sister... I'll tell you about it on the patrol!" Peter yelled out and swung away down the street while Ben and Kaine stood there flabbergasted.
"PETE-" Kaine began only to slam his hand on his mouth and quickly follow after him. "SPIDER-MAN! YOU CAN'T JUST SAY WE HAVE A SISTER AND RUN OFF!"
"WHAT KAIN-" Ben began, covering his mouth and also moving to catch up, "WHAT SCARLET SPIDER SAID! WAIT UP JERK!"

The Black Rose was everywhere in Runeterra, that was how LeBlanc, one of its founders and the matriarch of it all had designed it to be. LeBlanc weaved her hands in front of her, across the pale buildings of her home beneath all of Noxus, beneath the empire that she had forged, that she had bled for... and that she would sacrifice everything to maintain, even herself to stop the one man who could destroy it... the Lord of Death: Mordekaiser.
'LeBlanc'/Leader of the Black Rose
(Universe: Runeterra Prime-MLDW)
Her hands weaved the images of the heroes of Bilgewater. Heroes, Champions, Monsters... it did not matter, for the history books that she will personally oversee will describe what happened in Bilgewater according to her own plans. Her own... clones... would take care of it for her, especially with Elise's personal reports about him...
Spider-Man.
She had felt his presence when he had arrived, the second time anyways, the first was when he was obscured by a powerful sorcerer, one stronger then her, the second time he wasn't or rather, the two presences that came. Two brothers... a foolish idea to describe them, they were not brothers, just one original human man with one of the most problematic consciousness's out there, and one psychopathic self-deluded clone. Peter Parker and Ben Reilly, names that she had found out when she personally came to... analyze Peter Parker, and to say, he surprised her, despite his tiredness and slightly intoxicated state he put up a decent fight... even if he lost.
She had watched him leave one of the tavernas of Bilgewater, assuming the floor of a Nine Tailed Fox, but he caught onto her, something that very few had managed to do... She had used only a couple of her usual spells, chains, vines of terrible agony, and small bits of reality warping but Spider-Man had pushed her to use her more powerful forms of magic, weaving shadows, releasing flames of destruction...
But she had forced him into submission, taking what she needed... and erasing the encounter from his mind. He had taken down the Ruined King, and if LeBlanc was lucky enough and Peter was unlucky enough... he would aid her in her plans to stop Mordekaiser... He was a hero after all, and all heroes jump into the flames of danger to save the innocent, and die... like all heroes.
LeBlanc stopped hearing the footsteps of one of her fellow co-founder...
Vladimir, dressed in his red, black, white, and gold uniform ,... who was, ironically, a former prince of Camavor, sold away by his own father to a Darkin Monster, one that Vladimir would not speak of. Vladimir had done everything, served the Darkin, and the Darkin taught him how to control every form of blood. The Darkin were able to use blood easily, but Vladimir had to exercise every part of his being and intellect to master the simplest spells... and he did. He became stronger with every spell cast. And when the Darkin began to lose control of there territories, Vladimir struck and killed his master... It wasn't long after that Vladimir found ancient Noxus... and would later join Vladimir...
"Still looking through the business in Bilgewater, darling?" Vladimir asked moving into the room letting blood magic flow through his fingers.
Vladimir/The Crimson Reaper
(Universe: Runeterra Prime-MLDW)
"The business in Bilgewater gives us an opening into how strong Mordekaiser could be" LeBlanc began weaving the figures of Ahri: The Nine Tailed Fox, Braum: The Heart of the Freijlord, Illaoi: The Kraken Priestess, Miss Fortune: The Queen of Bilgewater, Pyke: The Bloodharbor Ripper, Peter Parker: The Amazing Spider-Man, and Yasuo: The Unforgiven, "Even if the power is used by a love obsessed, broken hearted child"
"Come now LeBlanc... Viego was... well... my nephew, and one that was never meant to sit upon a throne. Heartbreak, betrayal, tsk, he never had the stomach for it, sheltered as he was" Vladimir continued moving to stand beside LeBlanc.
"And yet, he experienced it all the same" LeBlanc continued, "The enemies of Camavor were numerous... and now they are gone, dead, for the time being"
"No one has been there in centuries... unless you count us of course" Vladimir offered with a small smile,
"Hmm..." LeBlanc continued as she tapped against the figure of Spider-Man, and the spider symbol began to glow golden yellow. LeBlanc stayed quiet, her gaze never looking away from the golden light, the strange fractured power that she had found.
"Something on your mind darling?" Vladimir asked.
"... How I wish, I found a way to go to Peter Parker's dimension, but traveling across dimensions, maybe even universes, not even I can do that" LeBlanc stated and waved her hand wiping away the figures of the people who stopped the Ruined King.
"... We will manage without them..." Vladimir added, "... A shame we lost Atakhan, and instead woke up Zaahen instead..."
(A/N: Anyone else Zaahen's Darkin Look? It looks so fucking awful! I know he's supposed to be a 'Good Darkin' and wanted to be sealed away to prevent corruption. But he's just a hot dude with grey skin, and nothing from Shurima... It just looks so dumb to me)
LeBlanc hummed to herself, her eyes gazing towards the empty side of her hall, where the demon Atakhan had once been. He had been useful... for a time... a bound demon had been useful, but she knew of other demons she could use, ones she could summon, chain, and manipulate. All she needed was the right tools, the right time... and a single whisper to make them bow before her.
"A mistake, yes... But it gave us the knowledge I need to take care of our... Grand General of Noxus, when the time comes..." LeBlanc stated, turning back towards Vladimir, "For now... continue your blood cult, spread your word... We will need them... and don't let them escape, not like how you let Briar escape... a little runaway child outside of Noxus, one hungry for blood... must be quite embarrassing knowing your little girl is out there causing chaos don't you think?"
Vladimir groaned and moved away, while LeBlanc smiled to herself. It was a small thing, but if someone wanted to remind her of the failures she made, she would gladly speak of her opponent's mistake. It was petty yes, but it gave her some satisfaction. LeBlanc hummed to herself and muttered an ancient rhyme, an old song from the old days...
How she longed for when Mordekaiser would be free from her thoughts, when she would crush his helm between her hands. She leaned back and weaved her hands again... forming it... the symbol that was on Spider-Man's chest, and allowed it to glow, and dim... glow and dim...
She remembered holding it, his strange soul... Everyone's soul was different, unique, perhaps something to do with the magic of Runeterra, but Peter's soul... it was something else. It was as if another soul had been added to his own, the soul of a powerful being that someone had ripped apart, shattered and scattered carelessly, not caring about anything but what they had already taken.
LeBlanc placed her hand against the symbol, her dark eyes gazing upon it, as it glowed and dimmed, glowed and dimmed.
"... What are you?" LeBlanc whispered to herself, and made the shadow drawing disappear.
She shouldn't dwell on it now. Peter was gone from this world and back in his own world, away from her, no longer her concern. She needed to be focused on her world, her plans, not on some street based hero.
The Demacian Mage Rebellion, the Noxian Politics, the Piltover and Zaun peacetalks, the secret society within Ixtal, the ever growing concerns within Shurima, the fading magic of Ionia...
She had more pressing concerns than a traveler from another world.

'I remember training with my father in the years after the Rat Plague. Someday, he said, our enemies will come for you'
Emily Kaldwin moved through the streets of Dunwall, a half mask over her face as she moved through the shadows towards the Dunwall Waterfront which was, ironically, close to the Hound Pits Pub, a place she had spent a month at in hiding once her father had rescued her from the Golden Cat, a brothel and one that she had hated to stay at.
Her father had done the impossible back then. The previous spymaster and self proclaimed Lord Regent Hiram Burrows had orchestrated an entire coup that had succeeded, when he had hired Daud, a supernatural assassin to kill her mother: Jessamine Kaldwin, and had framed it on Corvo Attano, her father and the royal protector. Six Months had passed while she stayed at the Golden Cat, her father had been tortured within Coldridge Prison until he was able to escape, and begin taking down Hiram Burrows operations one by one with help from the 'Loyalists'... a name they had called themselves until they betrayed Corvo and tried to poison him. But Corvo had pushed through with help from Samuel, a good friend with unbreakable loyalty towards Corvo and Emily. Corvo had killed the leader of the Loyalists, Farley Havelock who had poisoned the other members of the Loyalists.
After that... it took some time but with help from the royal physician Anton Sokolov and Piero Joplin, the man who had made Corvo's gear, had worked together to cure the sickness saving Dunwall...
But now... it was time for another night of training.
Emily leapt over the fence, and pulled down her half mask. The moon shined down on all of Dunwall as she moved along the side of the waterfront. The darkness made it easier for her to move, but she knew that her father had chosen this area well, very few people came here and it was perfect for both her and for Corvo to train together.
"The sounds and smells of Dunwall never change much" Emily remarked, reminiscing on the past for a moment.
Emily Kaldwin/Empress of the Empire
(Universe: Pandyssia-MLDW)
Emily continued forward, gazing out from the closed gated fence, and saw some of the ships leaving the harbor of Dunwall, heading towards the territories of the Empire or on some expedition to the distant far continent of Pandyssia.
"... This is my city..." Emily muttered to herself, closing her eyes but continued forward and then headed down an alley.
Her city... Her mother's city... her grandfather's city... It felt so weird to think about it. She rarely imaged what it would like to be Empress, she would have much rather had been a pirate, out at sea, going on adventures, maybe even discovering ancient treasure, fighting against other pirates... But with the life she was born into, the world was never kind to little girls. She can still remember that day so vividly, when her mother died, when she was kidnapped... how she had screamed, how she saw life leave her mothers eyes when Daud had thrusted his sword into her abdomen and damned Dunwall to hell.
A part of her wished to see Daud dead... but... that part has passed with time, she only wanted peace, and her father would help her have that peace.
And tonight... the training would continue.
"What training regiment does father have in store for me today?" Emily wondered, a small smile on her face
Emily walked down into one of the alleys, a single light illuminated the path, and Emily continued down, seeing a distant lamp lighting up the far area... to a normal eye they couldn't see the figure that blended into the darkness, but Emily knew her father, and could see him standing there, dressed in his Royal Protector and Spymaster clothing.
Corvo smiled, stepping forward into the light while Emily stopped at the railing, and the obstacle course close by.
Corvo Attano/Royal Protector and Spymaster
(Universe: Pandyssia-MLDW)
"All right majesty... Let's see what you can do" Corvo spoke and turned to the side, vanishing into the shadows.
Emily ran down the nearby stairs and through the archway. The obstacle course that Corvo had chosen tonight had been an old smugglers passageway that Corvo had taken care of some time ago, but Corvo had made some adjustments for Emily's training. Emily ducked under some lose bars, and towards a large metal door, while Corvo stood above it, and began turning the wheel, opening the door.
Emily knew the drill and ran forward as fast as he could, only for Corvo to stop it part way, and release the wheel. The large door began to drop down slowly. Emily went down and slid through the mud and water sliding under the door as it closed behind her. Emily pushed herself up and smiled looking at the next door and saw her father above it once more. Emily knew her secret, a secret that would get him condemned by the Abbey of the Everymen. He was marked by the Outsider and had some of his own powers given to him by the strange God, one of them being able to teleport.
"You'll have to sprint, vault the obstacle, then slide under" Corvo advised clutching the next wheel, while the next large metal door remained open.
Emily nodded and ran forward. Corvo released the wheel, allowing the metal door to slowly begin to close as Emily leapt over the obstacle and slid along the mud, under the door and at the end of the small passage. The door slammed shut behind her and Emily moved up onto the nearest staircase.
"All right, good..." Emily began, walking along the steps, "What's next?"
Emily stopped at the top of the staircase noticing the water channel, deep enough for her to swim through with a dented metal bar ahead of it. Emily sighed and stepped into the water. It was cold, terribly cold. Emily bit her tongue not wanting to complain, the first time she did, her father had only smiled, and had tossed in an ice cube in mockery. Emily moved forward, and took a breath dipping under water, and under the bars moving into the next area where a lone area, likely used by an out of business distillery from the Rat Plague, was located. Emily raised her hands gripping the platform edge and pulled herself up.
Emily released the breath she was holding. She saw the chain close by that led deeper into the training area, and grabbed it. She sighed and began climbing it, clutching the chain tighter until she turned to the side noticing the roof she could hop onto and leapt towards it, landing on the roof.
"If only I could spend every day running and jumping" Emily whispered to herself running along the rooftop.
Emily ran along the small rooftops, and saw her father ahead of her.
"Keep running... manage your breathe" Corvo advised as Emily ran to him. His arms were folded together, but she could see... the metal glint of the mask he wore, the mask that had haunted the enemies he had made and took care of.
Emily leapt onto the rooftop landing close to Corvo who smiled at him.
"You've learned well" Corvo advised and grasped Emily's hand with his right while the back of his left hand began to glow, "Let's see how quiet you are, young lady"
Corvo teleported them to a nearby dock, abandoned and alone. Corvo teleported Emily onto a rooftop while he teleported himself back onto the ground, moving along the beach, using one of the vials made by Piero Joplin.
"I want you to sneak up on me" Corvo advised, and smirked, "If you can"
Emily smirked, she bit her tongue holding back the remark she wanted to make. She crouched along the rooftop and leapt off of it quietly landing on the stone while her father stood on the beach, his back facing her. Emily's feet remained silent as she snuck towards her father, she could almost see the smile on his face. Emily rushed forward, and wrapped her arms around his neck, trying to mock and choke him out. They remained there for a moment, only for Corvo to playfully slap against Emily's hand. Emily released her father, as he adjusted his neck, and turned towards her.
"That's my girl," Corvo commented.
Corvo moved back along the docks, grabbing a key and begin walking away from Emily, putting her behind him.
"Don't let me hear you, or see you... Get the key, and head forward" Corvo advised.
Emily rolled her eyes crouching down and moving towards him. She noticed the key and moved to grab it, only for one of her feet to stumble and for Corvo to react immediately, grabbing her wrist.
"Not sneaky enough..." Corvo released his daughter's wrist, "Try again..."
Corvo moved away while Emily sighed to herself waiting for a couple seconds and began to sneak up on him. She moved her hand forward, and sneakily grabbed the key off from the back of his belt and moved back towards the locked door.
"Quiet as a lynx-" Emily muttered unlocking the door, "-stalking a gazelle"
Emily stood up as Corvo patted her shoulder, and led her forward towards the nearby warehouse. He stood to the side and gestured to a nearby firing range he set up. A crossbow with a couple of bolts remained nearby, her targets, three bottles laying on the other side in different positions. Emily smiled, grabbing the crossbow in her left hand and began loading one of the bolts.
"Remeber, a pistol will wake up everyone in the building. Your crossbow is quiet, more useful, but less powerful" Corvo advised.
Emily nodded her head raising the hand crossbow, and pulled the trigger. One bolt impacted the first bottle destroying it. Emily smiled, arming it again, and fired a second shot, another bottle destroyed glass spilling on the firing range. Emily aimed to the last one, loaded the shot and fired. The bottle broke upon impact, and Emily turned to her father who only stood there waiting. Emily looked back and saw it, a turnbuckle that once fired at would unlock the door. Emily rolled her eyes, armed her crossbow and fired it again. The turnbuckle fell and the door opened, making Corvo smile.
"Perfect shot" Corvo commented, moving into the firing range and opening the distant door as Emily followed behind.
The next room was a wide open room, a lightbulb illuminated the whole area... and two swords leaned against the wall. Emily knew exactly what would happen next. It was time for some melee combat.
"Let's see if you've been paying attention" Corvo stated grabbing the swords, tossing one of them towards Emily who grabbed it easily, "Hope you have an excuse ready for when we return back to the tower"
"You don't?" Emily playfully asked, twirling the practice sword around.
"We could always say we beat each other up," Corvo answered, and rushed towards Emily.
Emily rushed back swinging her sword forward, an attack Corvo easily blocked. Emily continued swinging from a different angle, an attack that Corvo had blocked seamlessly once more. Corvo only smiled as Emily swung again, and Corvo parried the attack forcing Emily back.
"You hit hard! Good! That's my daughter..." Corvo remarked, proud of his daughter, "You already know what happens next, a single sword swing can mean the difference between life and death"
Emily saw it before it came and blocked Corvo's first attack. Sparks breaking out from the swing. Corvo brought his sword back and struck again, an attack that Emily blocked as well.
"Good" Corvo stated and swung once more. Emily saw it and parried the attack, almost kicking her father back had he not dodged it swiftly.
Corvo laughed moving back while the two began to circle one another, Corvo moving clockwise, and Emily moving counterclockwise.
"Very good. Your instincts for fighting have sharpened. You've attacked, blocked, and parried... sometimes you'll throw your enemy off balance" Corvo began
"And then choke them out" Emily finished remembering there previous spar,
"Right... Let's see if you can do it this time" Corvo stated and rushed forward faster this time.
Emily blocked the attack, but Corvo continued. For a man in his mid 50's, he was still fast, quick, and lethal. Emily blocked again, sparks breaking out from the contact of their blades. Emily eventually found the right moment, parrying the sword and slamming her own blade against her father stunning him, she forced him around, wrapping one arm around his arm, and another round his neck forcing him into a chokehold. Emily pressed her arm around his neck and tightened her hold on her father. Corvo patted Emily's arm as she released him.
(A/N: In Dishonored 2, according to the fandom, Corvo is in his 50's, I think due to the Outsider's Mark making him more quicker, he is still able to be mobile as he is in Dishonored 1 because of the Outsiders power... maybe... because with Daud, it's a different case since he was dying in Death of The Outsider, due to the 'void dragging him away' which I think is the fate for everyone in the Dishonored Universe, but he feels it more because of the Mark)
Corvo rubbed his neck and smiled moving back away from Emily.
"While there off balance... you can deliver a lethal blow, its quicker, and messier then just knocking someone out... but, as an Empress-" Corvo began.
"'My duty is to my people'" Emily continued, making Corvo nod.
"But to your enemies... you don't have one..." Corvo stated, "Its up to you to decide who lives and dies, to be wise or to be cruel... and we both know which one Jessamine would want for you"
Emily smiled, and rushed forward while Corvo did the same, bringing the blade down to his side and swung up trying to swing at his daughter who blocked it, but was forced back. Corvo went for another strike only for Emily to yell out and slam her blade against Corvo's own throwing him off balance. Emily moved her leg, swiping it under Corvo's legs and forcing him to the ground. Emily moved forward, getting on top of her father and pressing it against his neck. Corvo chuckled, winching for a moment.
"Ever going to stop holding back?" Emily asked.
"... With you... hehe... one day..." Corvo answered.
Emily smiled and stood up, bringing her hand down for her father to grab and pull him up. Corvo put away his own sword, and moved his hand forward placing it on Emily's shoulder.
"I feel better knowing you can take care of yourself" Corvo remarked softly gazing into Emily's eyes, Jessamine's eyes, "When trouble does finally come, you'll be ready to fight"
Emily smiled, moving one hand up, wrapping it around her fathers own.
"... Do you really think trouble is going to come for us?" Emily asked.
"... I do, and when I'm gone, you'll be able to take care of yourself and protect those you love" Corvo reassured, "... Your my daughter, and I will do everything I can to prepare you for what our enemies will do"
Emily nodded her head, grateful for the training, and effort that Corvo, her father, had put forth for her.

The Origin System laid bare before her, her children, the Tenno, were all across it, following her command to eliminate certain targets, rescue certain assets, exterminate enemy locations, whatever was needed to be done, she made sure to guide them all.
Her eyes gazed upon all of the planets, all of the moons that the Tenno have gone to, one by one, Earth... Venus... Mercury... Mars... Phobos... Ceres... Deimos... Jupiter... Europa... Saturn... Uranus... Neptune... Pluto... Eris... Sedna... and a small access point into the Void. All of her children were on these planets, helping those in need, killing the Grinner and the Corpus, or continuing the eradication of the Infestion, the terrible monsters that morphed all biological and mechanical matter into whatever it wished, creating monsters from whatever they could find.
Lotus sighed, the wires in the back of her head moved slightly within a hidden location, one that was... too far from her children, too far from any threats, but for now... It was safe, it was hers. She could watch over all of the Tenno, honoring the wishes of Margulis, the original mother of the Tenno.
Lotus/Mother of the Tenno
(Universe: Origin System-MLDW)
Lotus continued her watch, communicating to each of her children one by one, guiding them as best as she could. With each successful mission, her children continued to impress her, continued to make her proud, and each of their enemies were defeated, one by one...
Lotus kept her smile hidden, but stopped when she heard them...
Whispers... within her Halls...
She turned away from the channels of her children, disconnecting herself from her pod temporarily, and looked around. She knew where she was, she knew that such voices should be ignored, but she knew what she had done to keep her children safe, to be able to watch over them eternally.
She knew it was still out there... Was that... creature whispering to her, trying to gouge a reaction from her?
Lotus floated, levitating away from her pod and continued forward through her blue, and purple chamber, only to stop when she felt something crack beneath her feet. She took a step back and looked down... the crack was black with blue energy emanating from it. The blue energy of the Void. Lotus kneeled down, pressing her hand against it... only to hear a dark chuckle, and the crack expanded, breaking more into her sanctuary, beneath the Reservoir that belonged to her children.
"... No..." Lotus muttered, and quickly stood up, levitating back to her pod, connecting herself back into it.
She opened up every single channel, to all of her children once more and saw it... reports of cracks across the galaxy, void energy leaking through. Purple cracks appeared across Earth moving through the Plains of Eidolon, cutting into the oceans. The Icy planet of Venus with the Orb Vallis and the debt colony of Fortuna had begun seeing the cracks that defied reality, time, and space.
"Tenno. Abandon all missions. The Origin System is in danger" Lotus began speaking to her children, "I am sending alerts to all of you, secure what you can, save all that you can"
Lotus ended the message and began sending every bit of intel, all alerts needed. Something was happening to the Origin System, breaking into it, and she needed to stop it, and save her children.

None of the criminals in New York City were expecting there to be Three Spider-Men on a single patrol. Sure, they heard about the joking Spider-Man dressed in red and blue or the black and red Spider-Man with electricity powers. Some even expected the Spider-Women, one of them dressed in red and yellow who was on the Avengers team, or the one with half there face revealed, black hair exposed and dressed in a grey, black, and red Spider-Woman suit.
But they did not expect Spider-Man and the two Scarlet Spiders. Two of them were telling jokes, while the third one only talked occasionally and when he wanted to, but all three of them dispatched crime easily, webbing them up and securing them for the police to take care of.
Within the hour the three spider brothers had done what would have taken Peter two hours to do, and were now on break... all of them eating hotdogs on a rooftop, all of their masks removed, revealing the same faces of Peter Parker but tweaked slightly.
Ben Reilly had the dirty blonde hair, and a more look on his face, while Kaine had shaved his hair down, almost like a buzz cut, reminiscent of his look back in Houston.
"Okay... so... let me make sure I have this right..." Ben began eating between bites munching on the hotdog, "Our sister... Teresa Durand-Parker... is some... Agent for SHIELD and the CIA"
"Yep" Peter added
"Has her own flight gear designed by... the Tinkerer" Kaine spoke, wiping his fingers on the rooftop,
"Correct" Peter confirmed,
"... And the three times you met was because, one, Kingpin was after her, and two, she was framed by some corrupt agent, and three, was to hunt down Chameleon?"
"Yes. Yep. And definitely" Peter answered finishing his hotdog, and letting out a sigh of enjoyment.
"... Well... at least she wasn't involved with our Hell of a Clone Saga" Kaine muttered and finished his Hotdog, "... When was the last time we spoke? I would like to meet her"
"Uh... the uh... Chameleon incident. I haven't heard from her and I've been kind of busy" Peter said sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.
"Busy, he says... What he really means is getting over his ex who is now Venom's host and is now a single mother since Paul died, and-" Ben began.
"Good riddance I say" Kaine interrupted, putting his mask back on.
"Kaine!" Ben and Peter stated shocked at what Kaine said.
"What? Good riddance, Paul was a piece of shit as far as I'm concerned!" Kaine yelled back, moving his body around, spinning his body around to hang upside down while his legs locked against the rooftop railing as he looked up towards his brothers, "One, he helped his father destroyed his old earth with ancient religion bullshit, whether he knew it or not, two, he made up his own story to try and escape the Hell of his world, which I totally get I wouldn't want to be in his old dimension anyways, and three... Peter, he cucked you"
(A/N: Anything else about why Spidey fans, myself include, hated Paul? Pretty sure I got most of them)
Peter groaned loudly rolling his hands down his face and pulled his mask down in the process, and looked down towards Kaine while Ben resumed eating, somewhat uncomfortable.
"He did not cuck me" Peter stated, annoyed at the mention of Mary Jane and Paul Rabin's previous relationship.
"He DID cuck you, you little guilty magnet, self-hating idiot!" Kaine yelled back wanting to be brutally honest with Peter as much as he could
"... The kids were made up by the Mayan God or whatever entity that Paul's evil father had summoned, and later vanished after we killed it. They did not actually have sex" Peter stated, annoyed by rubbing his temples.
"Are you sure about that? Because if they did that meant MJ cuc-" Kaine asked, folding his arms.
"YES!! I AM SURE!" Peter yelled out, getting more annoyed, while Kaine shrugged his shoulders.
"If you say so, but a girlfriend would do you good Pete, I'm just saying. Your easier to be around when you got yourself a girl" Kaine added making Ben groan out annoyed, while Peter just sighed, annoyed with this topic, and wanting to move onto something else.
"You two are disgusting..." Ben muttered finishing his own hotdog and pulled down his mask, "Anyway back to the previous topic about Teresa... Do you think we could meet her?"
"I'll... arrange something... Maybe you, me, Kaine, Teresa, and May could all have dinner together at some point" Peter answered, "Teresa would like both of you, I'm certain about that"
"Good" Kaine began and pulled himself back up, "Plus, we have another little badass added to the Parker family. So there's that as-"
Before Kaine could finish, the earth began to shake as the three Spider-Men moved down gripping the rooftop.
"An earthquake?!" Ben yelled out.
"In New York?! Maybe!! Or it's something-" Peter began only to hear it... the sound of the sky ripping apart, "Oh no..."
Peter looked up and saw it... cracks appearing across the sky, and felt the Avengers Card vibrate in his suit pocket... But he knew what this was, he always knew, he had experienced it once before. When Earth-616 and Earth-1610 had begun to collide, when the reality between the two different realities began to break apart.
It was an Incursion.
"PETER?! WHY IS THE SKY RIPPING APART?!" Ben yelled out, fear in his voice.
"It's an Incursion!" Peter yelled out grabbing his Avengers Card, and saw the message coming through... from Reed Richards. "Come on!"
Spider-Man leapt off of the rooftop followed by his brothers as he pressed the card to his ear.
"Attention! Attention every hero in New York! This is Reed Richards! Right now, I've detected three different realities crashing into our own!" Reed responded, his voice repeating throughout the call.
"Oh shit..." Peter muttered.
"WHAT IS IT, SPIDER-MAN?!" Kaine yelled out as the cracks began to open even more and the voices of the people of New York below them were heard below them.
"I am currently attempting to find a way to push them back! My son will need all the help we can get! I call upon the Scarlet Witch, Wiccan, and all our reality manipulators to come to the Baxter Building immediately!" Reed Richards' call continued.
Spider-Man continued swinging through the city as more cracks appeared in the sky, but soon as they began approaching New York Square... the air began to go still.
"Somethings... wrong..." Peter muttered...
And in one moment... everything was still... Everything was almost peaceful... like the Eye of the Storm...
But then everything screamed.
The sky ruptured out, the ground beneath them opened, and the screaming of New York citizens trying to get away. The Earth continued to open up and the Spider-Men immediately swung down towards the ruptured hole in the earth.
"FIRST WEEK BACK IN NEW YORK AND THIS SHIT HAPPENS!!" Kaine yelled out annoyed, swinging down into the hole, aiming to save the citizens that fell in.
"JUST GET EVERYONE OUT AND TO SAFETY NOW!!" Peter yelled back to Kaine, swinging down towards a falling citizen and caught them, firing several more webs trying to stop any rumble from hitting anyone else falling down the giant pit.
But the pit...
It didn't obey any of the laws of physics... it opened into an entirely different world. Destroyed buildings, obsidian stone, a black, blue and purple abyss awaited beneath them... and he swore he could hear an inhumane screech throughout all of it. Spider-Man swung back out of the hole carrying the citizen and placing them to the side.
"GO! RUN! AND DON'T STOP!" Peter yelled out and swung back looking down the hole as it continued to expand while Ben, and Kaine continued to save all they could.
But soon spotlights filled the air and Peter saw it... The SHIELD HELLICARRIER flew above them all, multiple helicopters were sent down along with other aerial carriers designed to save civilians and Peter saw her... Teresa Durand-Parker dressed in her flight gear as her wings extended out, and she flew around the area moving to secure anyone she could.
Teresa Durand-Parker/Sister to Peter Parker
(Universe: Earth-616-MLDW)
"... Good to see you sis..." Peter muttered smiling and soon the Earth began to shake, and the cracks continued to spread, "Of course... this can only get so much-"
Screeching filled the air, and Peter's Spider-Sense went off. Peter obeyed it, dodging out of the way of some strange black magic and turned to see it...
A stone like creature, with glowing yellow eyes, and glowing yellow veins around its body. It moved like a human. Stone outcroppings sprouted all around its body, while its arms flickered between stubs and real arms... but its eyes only remained on Peter.
The Envisioned
(Universe: Pandyssia-MLDW)
"What the hell are you?" Peter muttered, raising his fists.
The creature only snarled and screeched, rushing towards Peter who dodged around its attack quickly. Its arms swing towards it, only for it to disappear, and teleport back to the whole... only to see more of its brethren coming out and screeching out. All of them rushed towards civilians while Kaine, Ben, Teresa, and SHIELD Soldiers moved in attacking the strange creatures while trying to keep the civilians safe. But the bullets... all of them merely bounced off of these creatures, Kaine and Ben's punches did nothing but seem to hurt Ben and Kaine instead... Kaine even went for a jab with a stinger... but the stinger broke upon colliding with them.
This... This wasn't good...
Peter swung towards one of the strange creatures, and went to punch it only for the creature to teleport out of the way. Spider-Man's Spider-Sense went off and he turned to see one of the creatures rushing forward. Peter attempted to dodge but the creature predicted his movements, rushing towards him and thrust its arm through Peter's chest. Peter stopped coughing up blood, feeling the blood pool out from his wound spilling onto the arm, and out his mouth. He looked into the eyes of the create and heard it... the creature's voice...
"We found you... Fractured fourth of Anansi... Spider Devil..." The Creature spoke and kept Peter close as it leapt into the pit.
"No! No, no, no!" Peter yelled trying to force the creature off of him, trying to push its arms away, as blood spilled from his body.
Peter punched, kicked, and did everything, but it felt like he was punching the strongest stone on the planet. The creature didn't even flinch, they just kept falling, deeper, and deeper. Peter screamed only to stop when he felt a web latch onto his back. Peter heaved out a breath and turned to see Kaine, gripping a web tightly as he screamed out while a second web had been fired attached to Ben Reilly had a web attached to the wall of the Pit.
"WE GOT YOU BROTHER!" Kaine yelled, trying to pull Peter up.
The creature turned and screeched, and soon more of its own kind were rushing out from wherever they were coming from, all of them teleporting around the pit heading towards Kaine and Ben.
"SHIT!" Kaine screamed looking at all of the creatures.
Peter's eyes moved towards all of them, all of the creatures moving to get rid of Kaine and Ben. Peter turned towards Kaine, and smiled under his mask. He wasn't going to lose his brothers, and he knew he would find a way out of this place... The creature wanted him alive, why else would he be taking him and dragging him down into the pit? But his brothers... they didn't care.
"Kaine! Go!" Peter yelled out, and Kaine looked down at Peter, his eyes wide, as Peter clutched the web and tightened his hold on it, raising his other hand and grasping the web.
Kaine's eyes widened as he tightened his hold on the web.
"Peter! Don't you dare! We're all getting out of here, you hear me?!" Kaine yelled out, not wanting to let go of his brother, one the people who inspired him to be better.
Peter smiled, feeling blood fall down the side of his face. He pulled up his mask and smiled at Kaine.
"Give them Hell for me, okay guys?!" Peter yelled out, grasping the web as the creatures looking towards Ben and Kaine ready to attack.
"Peter! Stop! Don't do it!" Ben yelled out seeing what Peter was doing.
Peter only smiled and ripped the web, releasing Kaine's webhold on Peter as he and the creature that impaled its arm into Peter began to fall deeper into the Pit, deeper into the Void. The creature snarled and the Pit vanished... and the Void was seen all around Peter... A black, bottomless hell, and the creature continued to stare.
Peter smiled and moved his body trying to break out of the grip, but the stone creature continued his grip on Peter, pushing its blade arm deeper into Peter who bit his tongue stopping him from screaming. The creature let out a noise, a noise that sounded almost like laughter.
"Theres no... escape... not... for you... Fractured Fourth..." The creature spoke and Peter smiled, as they neared a large floating black platform floating sideways closer to the creature,
"I... beg to differ!" Peter yelled out slamming the creature against the platform, forcing its body against the stone as it began to grind. The creature snarled as Peter kicked himself further away from the creature and turned around firing webs at a nearby platform, and forced himself off the creature as it screamed tumbling down to the void.
Peter laughed into the air only to feel... tired... so... tired... Peter shook his head, until he landed on the platform... well... not landed, but rolled wrapping his arms around his bleeding body. His body rolled, the black stone platform scraping into his suit, against his skin, until his body stopped rolling.
Peter sighed and groaned, turning his body towards his stomach and pushed himself up. He placed one hand against his gut, standing up slowly. He bit his lip and moved his hand up, seeing the blood on his suit. He winced and looked around.
"There... there has to be a way out... there has to be... has to be..." Peter muttered moving forward trying to find a way out. He looked up, hoping to see an opening back into New York, back into the pit that opened beneath New York City... but there was nothing... no way out. "Where... Where is it? I can... I can..."
Peter had been running on adrenaline once the creature had stabbed him with its arm. Peter didn't know what that arm was made out of, or if that creature was really stone since his punches and the bullets of SHIELD did nothing against them... They had to be from another Earth right? But... What kind of Earth would create something like that?
Peter didn't know... but he was... so tired... so...
"No... No..." Peter stated aiming his wrist up, trying to find something to swing onto, but everything was too far for his web fluid to connect to, too far for him to get to. "I... I need to... I..."
Peter groaned, falling to his knees... his hand was still clutching his wound, but he was still feeling the blood fall out, losing the feeling within his fingers and his feet.
"I... I need to get home... Kaine... Ben... Teresa... Aunt May... They need me... I need to get back home... I need to..." Peter said until he fell onto his knees, falling onto the ground.
Darkness began to surround him... and the echoing of footsteps filled the air, someone was coming for him...
"I need... I need..." Peter continued and his eyes slowly began to close, "to... save... my... family..."
To be continued in... The Call
...
For the most part this chapter was all about introducing some of the main characters for the first season, the second chapter is going to be more about the different voids, finding Oraxia, discovering each of the Void Gods and the first song for the story, along with the after effect of the Incursion happening near the end of the second chapter and into the third one.
In this chapter, we saw Peter remembering his past from my previous book Ruined King, and waking up finding the Blade of the Ruined King in his home, he called Wanda to see if they could try something else and Wanda would look into it, while Peter went to meet up with Ben and unknowingly Kaine. LeBlanc reminisced on the information she gathered from the Bilgewater Conflict while analyzing each of the major players within it. Corvo Attano continues to train his daughter Emily Kaldwin, the Empress of the Empire, on how to fight and survive. Lotus watches over her children as the Incursion of the four dimensions begins. Peter, Kaine, and Ben experience the Incursion, trying to help all those that they could only for the Envisioned from the Dishonored Dimension to come through seeking Peter, Kaine and Ben try to save Peter, only for Peter to reject it, tearing himself away from them, and telling them to get out of there, Peter falls deeper into the Void breaking out and slowly bleeds out while something approaches him.
Okay, yes, the last part was rushed kind of a bit, mostly due to the Envisioned being annoying mother fuckers in Death Of The Outsider with blink, and being invincible to a lot of attacks so I had to rush a bit, and I also wanted to throw Teresa into this so I can set up the sibling dynamic between Peter, Kaine, Ben, and Teresa... I really hope we get some comics with those four together. I don't know if it will sell well, but a guy can dream.
Also, I'm thinking about changing the title of Void Spider to something else. I'm putting some title ideas below for those who are curious. I honestly like the first one the most, but I might just keep it as Void Spider.
-Spider-Man: Gazing Into The Abyss
-Spider-Man: Void Incursions
-Spider-Man: One With The Void
Anyways hope you all did enjoy the first chapter, and I hope you all have a good day/afternoon/night!
